There may be other groups who are more fashionable or wear more brand names but XG is to me THE fashion forward girl group
They pull things off sooo well w/ their attitude!
Their the most fashion forward girl group rn since 2ne1, reminds me so much of 2010s pop music clothing era
To me XG represents a great blend of both Japanese and Korean cultures. They really blur that line what we call traditional K-pop. As some who is half Korean and Half Japanese I am glad to see they are doing great. Left Right was a great example of non traditional K-pop that still had that K-pop sound if that makes sense.
I could see that! Especially the left right point you made. Very accurate! They have that global blueprint of being able to relate to any and every person regardless of race or background. I’ve had ppl ask about them that have no knowledge of the music scene in Asia. That speaks to how much their impact is rising

New Jeans and XG racing towards world domination. Two completely different paths, with New Jeans in the early lead. But I dunno man, XG just feels so inevitable. Very excited and intrigued to see how all this plays out in the next few years.

@@enemynumber-zm3ug XG’s numbers aren’t quite there yet (ie sales, charts, etc.) but with their talent, sound, Simon’s vision, and the XGLAX team, they just feel…inevitable. Hard to imagine them not going supernova within the next couple of years.
When XG first came out, I was sad that many people made fun of Harvey's voice, but now I'm happy that many people say they like it ♥️ Thank you 😆 Harvey's voice is very unique and XG making it more attractive 🤗💕
Agreed. I was late to them and didn’t know of XG until their Xypher blew up. I was always coming to Harvey’s defense for her voice and verse.
Yes I definitely think she adds a different element with her tone and like I said, I’ve grown to really love her voice and her parts in their songs

Knowing Maya is your bias, I was waiting for your reaction to both of these. Like I said Maya is the real Swiss Army Knife of the group. She gets key singing and rapping parts. And either her or Jurin ate the center in choreography during the chorus. And as they do more shows and interviews in America she is becoming unofficial spokesperson.
You and I have similar taste. Although I couldn’t fully decide so Maya and Chisa are both my bias and Harvey is my wrecker.
Yes I’m really struggling with a consistent bias line. Maya is pretty much bias with Chisa being the *lead wrecker* but everyone in the group is a bias wrecker at the end of the day😭😭

@infinitelocke The last few releases from New Jeans haven't really been hitting for me, in particular, Super Shy & New jeans. Those songs feel very similar to not only each other but also to Ditto and OMG. XG, though, they are killing it, I need the album ASAP.

That’s fair. I definitely agree this is probably my least favorite title track but I still love what they are attempting to do and I think it’ll continue to help them grow
