Thanks a lot man. I had the same issues with my clamps. I was worried about breaking the connectors till I saw this. In my case it was cause of grime making the pieces way too sticky.
For anyone doing this and not using a Memory saver, once you change your battery alarm will keep going off once you plug everything in. There is a button with a blue light, hold button start the car and still hold it then turn off car while holding it then start car again. It should reset. I called dealer and they guided me thru this.

I was told that I had to drive my car at least 50 miles, there’s something in the engine to reset because I need to get my admission. Is this true?
You only need to drive 50 miles on a vehicle about to get State Inspection, after a power loss for accurate reading.
