I'm just using conjecture but I also wouldn't be surprised if that's the case.
This song is so great, but even better when you hear it (for first time even more) while fighting Kite Kit. The Boss and background of the fight suit the mysterious and magical theme so well. And the area he is in captures that same energy aswell so that also adds to it.

I dunno why, but I think of the overall aesthetics of the Dream Weavers homeworld in Spyro the Dragon 1 when I jam to this song. Easily the best song, in the game. That Piano slaps, for it being a soft instrument! (soft instrument.... huh....)
I don't think anyone has talked about this, but how come Hero is the only other one to turn black and white when afraid, apart from sunny/omori? When everyone else is afraid, they still retain their colors
Either just a design choice, reused for saving resources or Hero is perhaps especially scared, maybe he is generally not the bravest. After all he could never even face his one known fear of spiders.
Foreshadowing in Omori:the 3 major humanoid fights(space ex-boyfriend sweetheart and the unbread twins) can go up to the third tier of each emotion. Omori can also go to the 3rd tier of every emotion,but his friends cannot. I’ll let you put the pieces together.
