I fibd it so beautiful and amazing that long before Christian missionaries ever arrived on these shore the Ojibwe already had views of sacrificial love and selfless giving that were as beautiful as anything in Christian teaching. It just depends if an Individual fights for a Noble Cause - or is being used for malevolent historical manipulation or opression - sometimes people name an Opressor as Veteran/ Martyr ...; and serving in Vietnam wasn't opressing the Local population just as you guys were opressed and colonized by the crown ...it's kind of Non sensical; So I hope you got a Strong Heart to maybe understand what I say...
