May be a different country than I live in but if not, the. but why are Americans stationed in Japan now?
@@WiffleWaffle1356 h
@@WiffleWaffle1356 I thought this was common knowledge but US troops are stationed in almost every country, especially those around Russia and China. You know, they like to play world police...
@@WiffleWaffle1356 you do know there are over 100k American soldiers stationed in Japan right? Or are you that slow its been like that since the end of ww2
honestly it seems like japan as a culture is just way more respectful than here in america
“its not the hotel it’s the people”
hey man Jesus saved me
exactly
imagine if a claustrophobic person went in there…
bro sounded disappointed there was no ticks
How are there ticks? Does he mean bed bugs
@@heather0928 I'm pretty sure the reviewer was talking about ダニ (dani) its a mite that bites people and lives in bedding.
"another silent and underrated creep and cause of infestation is the Japanese bedbug or tatami mite called dani. Even though they don´t pose a great risk to health, they bite humans at night and are very hard to get rid of. Usually, they can be found in cheap hostels or other places with changing residents like low-cost hotels or shared housing."
His name ain’t “bro” you idiot
I wish my university had sleeping pods- there's not much place to sleep between classes
That’s actually be awesome
Why do you sleep at school?
@YoursUntruly I sometimes have classes that are 2-4 hours apart, and since I also work and also commute to school on a bus, I'm usually tired all the time- not to mention sleep deprived. And this is a common condition for college students, so we try to get sleep even if it's at school. That's why sometimes you'll see hammocks hung around trees in college campuses
@@jacobcho3278 Heck, i remember back in uni, i've seen either people hogging seats in the library or downright sleeping. We dont have a strict librarian so its a common occurence
@@jacobcho3278 im in uni and I get 8h sleep lol
it was only 17 dollars- five stars. Genius level achieved.
😂 I was laughing at your reaction about the room. 😂 you are hilarious
Whoever said the hotel had a tick infestation was definitely them who had ticks and not the hotel
: o
Sleeping in hotels and the thought of bedbugs is the part of travel I am scared of the most.
yeah i dont blame you me too
Smelled like smoke, felt like a jail cell, bed was uncomfortable and you can hear the other sleepers... 5 stars. 🤷♂️
For $17, if it feels safe and I dont get a rash, five stars.
Got brutally beat up, robbed and had acid thrown at my face but it was 17 dollars 10/10 😁

Turkish fruit drink .. japan ...??
Fun fact, most mats you find in Japan are gonna be thin as hell. So you can’t REALLY complain too much about it unless you want to book a room at a ridiculously expensive hotel
I'd be happy just to have a roof over my head regardless of the noise and smell because there was a time I was living on the streets and was literally rock bottom with no place to stay and only my clothes back pack and a plastic bag of toiletry and I used my jacket as my pillow and cardboard as my bed by the alley. What you went through is paradise at a cheap price, my friend. I love Japan.
Damn bro. You survived.
If there wasn't stars i would give it a 100/5
You dislike having to check into another room to get some sleep the next day.
brent is feeing to copy this video
As someone who smokes and sleeps through anything anywhere. I see the friendly old man as an absolute win, I'd live here
Bro probably smokes in children's lung cancer hospitals to try and get women💀
You stink
Japanese hotels have the nicest staff. I left my phone in a taxi in Japan once and and asked the hotel lady for help and gave her the receipt. She was able to call the driver and I got my phone back
Such a relief, right?
"And and" slow down 😂
Him in that robe! Too f-in funny😂
bro was confused that the beds were thin 💀
all beds are like tgat in japan pretty much fr 👩🦲
imagine paying 17 and complaining to the hotel about noise 💀 they would refund u in cents and kick u out
“People were smoking INSIDE the hotel!”
That was the softest statement I’ve ever heard on this app
Lmao especially as someone whose a foreigner in Japan. Sure, there has been a crackdown on secondhand smoke, but its still so prevalent
believe it or not some people prefer not to constantly smell cigarette smoke
@@AllredGL believe it or not your mom gay
@@AllredGL Then you probably shouldn’t go places where smoking cigarettes ANYWHERE is legal and gripe about it.
@@AbruptandOffensive maybe people should be smarter to not inhale toxic smoke, also I’m allowed to not like a certain smell bro. Calm down 💀
friendly staff and no ticks? solid 21/10
if mr beast did this it would be called "1 dollar hotel to 100 million dollar hotel"
bro he already did this
he already did it
It cost less then dinner and desert? To stay overnight that’s amazing AND THEY’RE NICE!?!? instant 5 stars ✨
Once i slept in one of those, woke up next to a guy named kenji. Legit cool dude. Still my friend to this day.
Did he climbed into the pod while you're asleep or smth
🤣🤣🤣🤣

Plot twist: he actually gave a 5 star review to make the hotel look better. Than it actually was cuz he was paid.
Edit: Wowie 1.9K likes amazing
NO
How hard to gave 5 star if they had friendly staf? Its enough for me gave that 5 stars cause friendly staf is very rare.
Well if that’s true than the hotel got scammed. He didn’t even mention the name of the place.
@@jakeasterisk nah
Yeah. The smell of the cigarette would make want to rate it with negative.
Sounds amazing to me, people need to understand you don't need alot of space to feel comfortable. Especially in a hotel, you're paying to sleep there, you literally just need a place to lay down
Exactly!!! 100% agree
@@KFergy I adore Japan, you vids give me life. I want to move there someday because they have got it down to a science. the foods great, the living accommodations are great. Japan knows what it's about when it comes to making citizens feel comfortable and happy
Agreed but every country has its issues though, remember that! Not everything here is perfect by any means. However, it is amazing to visit, and extremely organized. The people are also welcoming too
@@KFergy better than anywhere else in my opinion. I've done extensive research on Japan and with one of the lowest circle rates in the world, a welcoming people and a great sociatal ladder that's built so that the whole "rich get richer" thing can't happen so people aren't oppressed, it's the closest thing to perfect were gunna get

"There were no ticks and it only cost me $17" Best review ever!
Even after the earthquake, when there is no council services, Japanese still cleans the public bathroom by themselves
So as long as it’s cheap, it has food, and a bed
This man will give a 5 star rating
and the people being nice lol thats all i care about

Somehow people don't understand the concept of "you get what you pay for"
Except for this guy, he gets it.
usually if im staying in a place with a lotta noise i throw in headphones, sleeping with music isnt for everyone but it definitely works for me. plus i get some sick ass backing tracks for my dreams
For less than 20$, you can get a whole ass room in the Philippines
but the plane ticket to the philipines and back is a lot more than the difference he'd pay for a japanese hotel room, not to mention time wasted.

That place could be anything except a casino, gambling is literally illegal in Japan.
Might've been a Pachinko Parlor
Maybe it's squid games
