i watched the jumping part of the video and i want to mention slightly that there is a cooldown to jumping. it was a patch made a couple months or so ago to stop spam jumpers so it's slower to navigate around the maps when you're mainly focused on jumping :D

Playing Sling disorients me so much as a constant jump+strafer because what do you mean I'm airborne for like 4 seconds and can't jump?? I suppose it makes you harder to hit for melees and some others, and your movement options are crazy, but i'm a born jump+strafer 💔 maybe one day i'll learn the language of the sling gods ion know

A quick question about this:
Is there any penalty to holding down the jump key, or should one press the space bar separately for each jump?
Also, is your horizontal movement affected at all by jumping?

The height penalty applies to both if you jump before the 0.3s reset timer.
Jumping doesn't affect horizontal mobility.
