Im a skateboard main since i first started playin phightin (im now lvl 300) and it really does take time to master doesnt matter if u play him first or if u play him last, as long as hes fun to play with thats completly fine! This video really shows the big picture even when skateboard mains barely ever get credit to how far they got with their main its really cool for me to know that we learnt a phighter that extremly hard to play lol

i play alot of skateboard (and tc2 anniknight as a bonus too) so heres some tips from my anniknight experience: DO NOT CHARGE STRAIGHT INTO ENEMIES UNLESS THEYRE LOW. Only chase them down AFTER your teammates become low, if you do get the kill, think: "Should I follow-up on the next kill, or escape with my 50% haste?" addt'l note: Do not try to go ham on your off-board abilities only. Add some on-board to the mix! Oh, and dont use onboard as your main source of damage, the devs nerfed the trick-spam for a reason; theyre for rollouts and a mobility tool, not for damage.
Will 100% be studying this for the phrenzy tmr (im going to get eaten alive otherwise) Also this is an awesome skate tutorial for new people! Can’t wait to see your next ones!

of all the other phighters, what would you say is skateboard's biggest counter? Or just phighters that are generally harder to play against compared to the rest?
Knowing how to play every class I think I can provide some information here. Classes that counter Skate are Rocket Subspace and Katana. I annoy Skate with these classes so I think they are a pretty good counter. They can counter him mainly due to their big radius and effect, be it knockback or slow. They still are not a big problem if you avoid them. Also sorry for the wall of words :(

I'll stick to a fundamental character like Sword also is skateboard S tier? It seems like his potential is limitless and sometimes he feels unstoppable but sometimes useless
@@adams0123then again skateboards off board passive makes him hard for scythe to track. And also in close range scythe can’t hit crits. Plus if a scythe manages to get away, skate can get away faster or just wait for the scythes cooldowns

skateboard doesn’t really have any counters, but being able to catch him while offboard is the most important part of his counterplay

it's all up to personal preference, so I'd say play around with sensitivity.
i'd say higher than what you would normally use. Makes on-board trick chaining easier

scythe's close range dmg is mediocre at best. not to mention you can m2 string combo them
