Good lord... Mike's boat is loaded with every single thing you can think of. I doubt Mike wants that Lowrance radar on the back of his boat, but Lowrance's money talks.
@bassfishinguy i was a marshal with iaconelli several years ago on kentucky lake. i don't recall him having a hot foot at that time either. i know a few local guys who prefer the hand throttle just because that's what they've always known. i'm about to finally put a hot foot in my boat this fall. too many rough days this year not to have one.
@TheGrant4080 there is a really good one somewhere. Try "kevin van office" It was with a mexican reporter and he shows way more detail than Mike did in this video.
Could've done without the background music. KVD has the best set up I've seen so far. He doesn't miss a trick. He carries an extra trolling motor in his boat and I think he has a spare in his Tundra. Kevin also carries a spare Humminbird. Plus he has the cookies.
@Fingolfin3423 No, he absolutely wanted it, like many others in that tournament. Money had nothing to do with it. The tournament days were delayed with fog, and there were unsafe navigating conditions on the long runs. With reduced day lengths and long runs, getting to spots quickly and safely was of the utmost. If they were doing it for money, everyone would still have them on the back seat of their boats.
Be careful with that radar bro. The saltwater guys usually rig theirs high and out of the way because of the radiation it produces. Good luck and God bless!
If you have ever launched with 100+ boats in fog with less than 3ft. visibility you would understand why they have radar, especially on the river systems. It's also very common for 95% of the guys on tour to carry a complete set of replacement electronics and an extra trolling motor in their boat. It's provided to them by their sponsors and it's what they need in case something happens and goes down to stay competitive.
now let me see,i read somewwhere that after 30 minutes with a hot foot their foot go to sleep or get sleepy. or maybe i heard someone say that after 2.5to 3hr theirs might go to sleep, do you have a hand throttle in your vehicles or a chauffeur lol! yeah stick too the cookie cutters better off
Bass boats have changed a lot since 2011.

Contrary to popular belief, most professional fisherman get nothing or very little for free from their company.
@kgb670 wtf
He has a crap ton of gear
Yours ignorance amazes me

Phillip Williams The touring pro does have to carry a lot of stuff with them, don't they?
