6:00 You're having trouble in 2nd gear because the SR20 has a lot of turbo lag. This is what turbo lag feels like in person. You may or may not know, because stock turbos are too small for that type of concern.
The best way to combat it is to have your gears be long enough to be at redline, but not bang off the rev limiter. All of my tunes are perfect for comp or just sliding around regularly, although, the SR20 S15 Silvia is just generally awful for casual tandems with slow or drivers that aren't consistent & make big corrections.
Makes a lot sense then tbh it felt great until like you said I got until tandems and was tough to keep it up there forsure def appreciate the comment !!
@@TheSLAPTrain1 You're welcome! I should honestly start making car related tutorials, since genuine drift setup knowledge still seems to be uncommon.
I peeped in a recent video of Goosiest' that a few people in the 'know' have setups that don't unsettle or misbehave in/during side-switching, full angle lock, jump drifts, hand-braking.
It's easy to just ignore all the wrong things with a setup when you don't know any better, but when you drive a tune by someone that can set up the car properly, it is such a game changer. It feels like cheating, but it's simple changes that make all the difference.
The V6 3.8 TT is best all round swap IMO

you can use a roof cam by going to 1st person view and then adjusting camera settings from pause menu on a fly

The jumps are towards the bottoms thru the switchbacks if I recall.
The last couple of runs were sick!
Slap, to get a better first person view, click pause and then there’s advanced camera settings by clicking y or something, it’s in the bottom context line when you pause.

Irohazaka is actually a IRL road close to Nikko in Japan it is a separated uphill and downhill road so it is more a touge circuit. BTW it has 48 Corners. I ro ha is the old name for the Japanese alphabet 3 out of 48 "letters" japan is using and Zaka is Slope so Iroha is representing the 48 letters/corners and Zaka for Slope :) Direct translation would be ABCSLOPE @TheSLAPTrain1
There's a initial d movie where before he loses to the dude from team emperor. He goes against a dude in sw20 MR2 dude jumps the corners instead of grip/drifting through them.
Love you you can actually tap walls and each other in CarX, try that in Assetto, it's like hitting a wall made out off trampoline!

For years my carx controller setting menu UI is glitched . Everytime i try to back out the controller setting in the pause menu . The controller setting wont back out . so i get stuck in the menu. its super annoying i cant find no fix at all. This problem started 3 years ago. I cant find anyone one with my same problem its very weird.

The powerband on the s15 is honestly just dumb.. doesnt matter which engine you throw in it, low rpm will always have no power until it spools up, then u have ALL the power

Why don't you tune the cars yourself slap? It's way better to adjust the tune to your style in CarX imo. I Run a S15 SR20 in comp's with no problem of the turbo lag and high horsepower. it's just the way the car is set up. I even run 120 adhesion.
