I stopped watching after season 2, then decided to give the rest a chance after years. I've gotta say, what an incredible journey. Season 5 and 7 might have been a drag to go through, it's still an awesome show.
He couldn’t play this typecast again tho, the “SOG agent” in Lioness. I mean he could but his ending(s) would be predictable. I would write Rupert Friend as an antagonist in that show, like a Makarov style character from MW3 (the original)
The writers of Homeland weren't simply amazing; they were smart enough to see how polarized we were starting to become and then they built some really compelling storylines around that issue. The way they ended Quinn's character was a sad, but tremendously fitting way. A true hero's way out. The last couple of seasons were really good, but they were never able to truly replace his character.
The bullet hole in the windscreen looks too high for him to be hit in the torso. That would have been a head or neck shot. I'm not sure why he didn't just duck down for a few seconds to avoid the incoming fire. He would have been fine. Bad writing as usual.
He’s recovering from nerve gas, drug and alcohol addiction he barely had the resources to move well, you obviously haven’t watched the show just hating on clips
Have you ever shot into a windshield? If you haven't, let me educate you as to the fact that glass, especially angled, reinforced glass, does funny things to bullet trajectories.
@tristenthomas7352 no. Homeland's writing got worse and worse in the later seasons. This is one of my favorite shows but they really jumped the shark after season 4
@ they were chasing that high. However, the portrayal of the wounded veteran with his mind broken was phenomenal. I really started to dislike Carries character in the later seasons but she had to let Peter go.
I totally agree. It was such an unexpected yet subtly foreshadowed moment, and it added a lot of depth to the story. While it was heartbreaking and upsetting, I think that was the intention -- it left a lasting emotional impact and made the narrative even more memorable.
@@bmrc depth? Just duck down while you are under fire. Meaningless death, they could've written it better if they wanted to get rid of the character so badly.
they had a kill zone where civilians couldn't get close enough to see it was a coup and assassination. Once they broke through the barriers and made some distance the inches away livestreaming and recording cameras ended their covert mission. The same concept when a corrupt cop puts up crime scene tape at a traffic stop when he's violating someone's rights and an auditor walks over with his camera.
Rupert Friend should have won an Emmy for his performance. One of the best war characters ever created for TV.
so true
YES
The best character is the show ..
2:55 I like that they took the time to print it out on paper in full color
One of Homeland's most moving, unforgettable moments. What an exit!
The onlookers and their smartphones actually saved the president.

This fucking killed me. Just watched it and I can’t stop crying
exactly (
Last time I watched this show there was a gi brought home that turned haji. It's changed a bit, it appears. lol
He would be fantastic in "Special Ops: Lioness"
I just started that yesterday and it's damn good.

@@tigerdragonmartialarts2172he should be CIA turncoat that knows how they operate
@@tristenthomas7352 oooouu fuck yeah. That would be a good twist in the series

Those guys are the biggest stormtroopers ever
When was this taken?
30 seconds ago. Would have been 10 if Bill hadn't forgotten to refill the printer paper.

@anxietygamingactual6554 It's highly unlikely he would have been hit as depicted.
Season six was actually pretty good tbh
Where is the Quinn spinoff??? That character was great.
should i start watching the show after this beautiful trailer?
The best character in Homeland, by far. The way they ruined and killed off his character was a disgrace
The fact you feel this way means they did their job

so that how their bulletproof window is?
This will be real life soon
what's TBAG doing in there?
He got two on shoulders ! How tf he died so quick ??
Main vains run from the heart to the shoulder and down the arms
Bullet could have turned once it hit his shoulder and made its way into his torso. They don’t always go straight through.
love orlando bloom in this
Named my son after this character
Yeah, the writers screwed up with what they did to this character. He deserved better and I started losing interest after this season.

They missed that simple detail because they were all hungover from Weinstein, Epstein, and Diddy parties.
😂 this show is just bad, they just let them drive away and no one even gave chase.
