- This video was filmed before Christmas, Kodi seems so tiny watching it back! Teddy loves all of the cats toys and they dont last very long when he plays with them! We always try to encourage and supervise playtime so we can watch their behaviours as they build trust in their relationship. Teddy is a very submissive dog but once he builds trust with his cats he like to try and take liberties sometimes, It's the only pet he will take food from haha.
Teddy's eyes and "eyebrows" are just precious while he patiently watches and waits, he is so comical!

Isn't it astounding how large dogs are completely into the little cat toys? And, watching Teddy's eyes as Kodi abandons the toy before Shane tells him to get it! Such self-control and patience. For a couple of years, I had a male, Bernese Mountain Dog/Golden Retriever mix, and 3 female felines. Nikko loved the kitties, but they didn't care for him. The girls had their claws and would bat their toys in his direction. Initially, he would grab the toy until one of the cats gave him a swat. Obviously, that didn't deter him, but made him chase them! Chaos! 😊😅😂❤
