Man... Good for you! I'm very comfortable using a double edge safety razor on my head and frequently use electric foil shavers. I purchased a sedef shavette, just like you use, and don't have the balls to try it on my head haha. I could shave someone else's head without cutting them but I'm certain I would slice up my own. How do you not cut yourself? What aftershave did you spray? Happy holidays to you and your's!
When doing your self more harder the same one just keep Practıce till getting better mate I use duru lemon aftershave stay safe and sharp

@@BarberT 😆. Arko is great but check out "Stirling Shave Soaps" . It probably wouldn't be good for everyday business use but it would be a nice change up for you at home.

Why do Turkish barbers tend to use boiling / very hot water for their brush? It's not good for the bristle or the glue holding it together...
Mate hot water is the key good shave yes may f the brush but I don’t care 1 brush this condition go’s 2 years do not a big deal change the brush every 2 years
@@BarberT I partly will agree on that :) But cold water also has it's advantages, like it gives better blood circulation, it doesn't strip moisture from the skin like hot water, it softens the hairs just as good, and the aftershave routine doesn't really require much, because the cold water has already calmed the skin during the shave :) There are some books and articles written about this, forgot the names of it all, but it was based around the fact, that during WWII, soldiers needed to shave, and had to use the water they had, so sometimes it was very cold water :) You should give it a try :)
Oh and cold water is a lovely treat in the hot months :)

I hate cold I don’t think so I tried that again because I have a bad experience when I army I use cold water feel horrible Of course this is the personal choice I doing this job over 20 years and my experience and I prefer hot water thanks your comment stay safe and sharp
