How UCLA Anderson Is Embracing AI

What is UCLA Anderson’s approach to artificial intelligence and how does it enhance our students’ experience, education and career outlook?
Senior Associate Dean of MBA Programs Sanford Devoe, in conversation with Easton Technology Management Center faculty director Terry Kramer, explored how Anderson is embracing AI across curriculum, research, administration and extracurricular engagement to equip students with the tools and knowledge they’ll need to assume leadership roles in a world that’s adapting to AI.
Increasingly, no enterprise or employee is exempt from the requirement to put AI to use. “AI is the new run time of the company,” says Kramer, who teaches students to think carefully about who is affected by AI and how can AI be used to improve society as well as business and education. Anderson offers a range of leadership learning sessions designed to inform students of the future of AI, with special focus on what Kramer calls the “mental software of leadership.”
