The field was always going to converge but didn’t see it turning out the way it has. Red bull are looking a bit rattled and are clearly having to work a lot harder this year than last. There advantage was so huge last year they were winning at a canter and not having to stretch the car. I still think max will do the WDC again this year but the constructors is definitely up for grabs.
Too much middlin' talent on the grid that has to go (Riccardo, Stroll, Hulkenberg, Magnusson, Sargeant) with great talent that should be replacing them (Lawson, Doohan, Drugovich, Porchaire, Vesti, etc.) AND Yuki deserves a better seat.
I agree with all of this with the exception of Hulkenberg. He has been having very solid performances at Haas and he definitely deserves a few more years in the sport. But overall yes, a lot of talent is being wasted waiting on the sidelines!
Ricciardo is not middlin talent he's one of the most successful drivers on the current grid. He's just not at his best currently he needs more from the car towards his needs.
Bottas should leave and give some young talent a chance. He had his chances in the best car on the grid and flushed them. He’ll become the new Kimi, a personality on grid but bringing nothing to the table in terms of driving and motivation, and sadly I think he’d be happy to do it.

Hence, isn't it plausible that Mclaren, Ferrari and Alpine have beaten the Budget Cap through their respective involvements in Indy and WEC? Shouldn't we ponder?

Any and all updates that Mclaren, Ferrari and Alpine brings on their cars are instantly successful, while the updates Rebdull, Aston Martin and Mercedes are at sea with their updates.
Hence, isn't it plausible that Mclaren, Ferrari and Alpine have beaten the Budget Cap through their respective involvements in Indy and WEC?
