    Awesome video, not too long, and entertaining all the way to the end. Nice to see a place not corrupted by man, yet. ❤

    Hi, we booked Ellaidoo at the end of August 24th. Your video is really great. If we go in August, will we be able to see the same scenery? Is there a house reef right next to the breakwater? Can we easily see manta rays, nurse sharks, tip sharks, and turtles just by snorkeling?

    awesome video. looking for a drone for my travels, nothing expensive, just have the ability to do ...well what you did with the areal shots in this vid. what drone did you use/recommend? thanks

      I had a DJI drone, they are market leader and have drones for every purpose. Good quality and especially good stabilization with their gimbals. Nevertheless I'm sure there are cheaper brands with almost the same quality. But don't forget to check the regulations, if and where you are allowed to fly. It got more and more restrictive during the last few years.

      It's on the northeast side of the Ari Atoll, but closed at the moment for renovation.

    What cameras and dive lights do you use? And do you use a dive filter?

    • @divetobealive
      @divetobealive  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      At this time a GoPro Hero 4 with red filter together with a Keldan video light.

    So sad. I‘ve been there a few years ago. The sea has risen so much. There used to be at least 5 meter more dry sand...

      pold ..its called high tide....and low tide...

    • @divetobealive
      @divetobealive  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depending on the monsoon you can also notice a shift of the beach. Half a year there is more sand on one side, half a year more on the other side. But still due to the climate change there is the risk of a rising sea level. Hope the Maldives still exist in 30 years!
