I was under the impression that Makarov knew that because of Volk's capture that Price would head to Prague and roll with the Czech resistance until he got to the church as it makes the most sense considering Price's circumstances. Makarov being Makarov, probably had one of his trusted men dress up as a Czech resistance member or one of Kamarov's guys fight with the actual resistance for a while, make their way to the Church and plant the C4 in the church tower where he knew Soap and Yuri would most likely be long before they arrived. Makarov then had that same spy rat out Kamarov, so Makarov would use him in the trap. That made the most sense to me especially when Kamarov said "I'm sorry Price."
Even so, I don't think it's about Kamarov revealing anything to the rat or Makarov. I think he apologized just because his bomb-strapped body is about to fail the operation. Your theory is very good but even if Makarov/rat did torture Kamarov to say anything at all, I think Kamarov would rather die than telling anything since he was the loyalist side fighting ultranationalist.
Makarov knew 141 is on his trail before. We can assume that Makarov takes ammo from same source from what he had bombs. Source dosent answer it means he is down. Also Price tipped MI6 about bomb threat. Mi6 shared it with Mi5. Mi5 mobilized SAS. Dont forget that Makarov tipped Price about shepard base and location even tho it was "secret" So its safe to say that Makarov has very good informants.

Usually horizontal movement combines two directional speed values and ends up having faster horizontal movement, many speedruns abuse this in older games where this isn't very well optimized, and it seems that in this case, this sequence uses a custom movement system hence the oversight speed thing. 7:09 It would be better to show the originals than the remasters for graphic consistency.

If you will play this mission in veteran mode you will get every one of the damage very high such as (price's punch will make you almost killed, makarov shooting yuri)
When I originally played MW3 for the first time i thought kamarov betrayed price, soap and yuri because how did he get captured? I thought he was gonna let Makarov killed them but didn’t expect him to kill him too plus he said sorry before dying what was he sorry for?

Extra: in the massacre airport flashback scene, if you go to the left metal detector or wait too long, Yuri tries to hold on it and later passes out, if you pass the right one, just passes straight to the floor and drop the pistol.
I am thinking Kamarov was actually betrayed Price and Soap.. he probably working secretly with Makarov and the plan was to set up C4 at the tower Soap and Yuri used to snipe Makarov. Things later turn out that Makarov betrayed Kamarov and eventually used him as bait to lure Price. Feeling guilty to betray Price and trap Soap with explosion, Kamarov realized he did the wrong thing thats why he said 'I'm sorry Price' before died... Only a mole in the squad will know exactly where Soap and Yuri gonna snipe Makarov. So many buildings there not gonna be easy to hit the right sniping location
True but the building that Soap and Yuri had a big massive hole, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Makarov suspected that the church would be the sniping tower.
Most likely, Alexi Makorovs right hand man planted the explosives with the help of a few resistance traitors. Also, the cut; cutscene that was recently discovered at end of mw3 og mission the man that came out was probably him. Btw i have 3k+ hours in mw3 campaign so i did notice a few things xd
