Brian, can’t believe you’re a newish vlogger as your daily vlogs are so good, you’re a natural. My husband and I are thoroughly enjoying your daily jaunts, thank you!
I love this guy's simplicity and contentment. While others may want the latest phone, Brian is content with a used one as long as it is fully functional.
I love the simple. Vlog # no silly titles or pics of faces with their mouths open. Liked the bright sunglasses, made a statement..i think you need a dog or puppy. Just a suggestion.
I absolutely agree. I watched a TH-camr who has some kind of management and he was told how to do his thumbnail pics (as you described) as he would get more views. He was shocked to find it was true so he now does this, but he did apologise to original subscribers as hates it himself. Just shows he's only in it for the money. Please stay as our lovely, nice and normal Brian (even with 26k subscribers)
Thank you for the drive, shopping, lunch, coffee and chat Brian! I enjoyed all of it! Due to watching channels like Dan's, yours and a couple of others where people commit DIY, I decided to fix my clothes washing machine... After a week of walking by, doing a few things, gathering courage and finally committing to buying the part and installing it, I fixed it!! It's running in the background as I write. Quite a feeling of satisfaction, although it was touch and go for a while. Thank you for the inspiration! Oh, I found out it's quite comforting to talk to ones self during those moments. Completely relate. (I don't have the excuse of invisible friends who are watching me!) Your light will serve its purpose in quiet beauty. Congrats!
So glad you got rid of that ‘hot’phone! Sounds like a fire waiting to happen. Love your thinking aloud! Shows how we all think the same. Well done with the light. It should give just the right amount of ‘glow’.👍
Brian, if that's a Scion you're driving, there was a recall on those handles and they will be replaced free of charge. It happened to me and I was so ashamed at first that i had open the door so badly that I broke the handle. It wasn't my fault at all.
So. Just wrote a comment and pressed the wrong thingy. 😢. Lost it. Suffice to say, talking to yourself gives you an expert opinion which is never wrong. The opinion may need a few adjustments after careful discussion (with yourself) to be accurate. Thanks Brian for a relaxing view of the world. After mixing and lifting all that concrete a week off is well deserved.
Watching your vlogs are like hanging out with a good buddy. No expectations, no need to entertain or be entertained, just sharing time and relaxing in that time. Thank you.
“Leroy Merlin” I laughed so much, because we call it “Mr Leroy Merlin” whenever we are in France and pass one, your friend would be very cross with us!!! 😂😂😂 Brilliant vlog as always, absolutely love them 😊
Daniel Preston, watch this video and if Brian offers to help wire the Chateau just tell him that you have already hired someone for that. 🤣 Nothing against you Brian. You are a brilliant man. You truly are. 😂
Ok, let me just say after a not so hot day at work, I came home and watched this and it made my day! Funny and entertaining. Thanks Brian. I love how you're so chill.
Wow well I got my coffee today lol. You know , I would love for you and Dan to be my sons as you certainly would keep my mind alive and laughing . Love you vlogs 🤗
Well done on rewiring / repurposing that lamp. It’s a one of a kind and will look really nice. Enjoyed the little jaunt through Limoges. Enjoy your time off and getting things checked off the list.
This was the video I didn't know I needed so much after a somewhat hectic and stressful day 😂 Loved the light and the talking to yourself while doing it, I do that ALL the time it's the only sensible conversation I ever get in my opinion 😂😂😂
The rewiring had me laughing so much 😂 The Murderbot Diaries books are so fun to read, I am currently reading book 5 - Network Effects. Other books you need to try are The Will of the Many by James Islington and Red Rising by Pierce Brown, they are great.
I love the old buildings and cobblestone streets. The light fixture has an interesting industrial look to it, I do think a smaller bulb might look better but we didn't see it in use so we'll see. I am the same thou with wiring, I'll tackle about anything else but not electrical except to rewire lamps and such. Have a great week off!
I feel you about the phone..I have had my note nine since 2021 and until it blows up in hand.. it will stay the old phone😊 will be jumping the pond later tonight for my lovely stay in Rural France 😊 thanks for the walk around and lunch. I was getting pretty hangry😉
Brian on the move, @nd were coming along. It’# what I liked about Dan’s Vlog in the early days. Bits and bobs😊and the scene behind. Oh and the B-roll. Got to love that❤
OH my... the light bulb was really big. lol... but I love how you are able to fix so many things. Fashioning your own parts at times, is a true talent.
I had the same problem in the Netherlands, Brian. Except when I could not remember the Dutch word for something I would insert an English word in the sentence and carry on speaking in Dutch, drove them mad. I did not care really, though a few times I had to laugh. I never knew that wiring a plug and putting a lamp together would be so entertaining . Glad you got your phone problem sorted out, I think with your old phone it would most probably needed a new battery if it was over heating. Have a lovely day.
Hilarious story about butchering the French language. I have heard the French are very sensitive about how anyone who is not French speak or attempt speaking French. Waiting for the book review. Really enjoy your vlog.
Nice video Brian it shows our daily tasks that one must do to keep our lives organized so that everything works as its supposed to. Cell phones can be a pain when they quit working and you need to upgrade hopefully this one works good for you. Pretty scenery!
You continue to entertain us with your down to earth, natural approach to everything Brian. Watching your videos puts me in a great mood to start the day.
France has The Acadamie Francaise which was established in 1635 to act as the official authority on the usages, vocabulary and grammar of the French language. It’s probably why the French are so protective of their language, and perhaps why they are so “tetchy” about correct pronunciation?
That steak looked yummy, just a hint always use the proper charger for your phone if you have a Samsung use a Samsung charger or you will overheat your phone if you dont also it's worth paying some money and getting a screen saver, love your vlog
Another interesting day in your life Brian. Thanks for sharing. I knew nothing about rural France so this is all eye opening to me Absolutely beautiful countryside and towns. The only thing I hoped I could catch a glimpse of was a couple old Citroens, maybe a Deux Chevaux, DS, or even an ID? I guess they are becoming rare even there in France. Thanks for the vlogs, very relaxing and informative!!
He has already been adopted by a puppy…just doesn’t know it yet..lol
God I love a man who can make things and fix things.
My husband loves for just those things. ~WilPaul
100%!
You are so refreshing to watch , a bit of sanity and normalcy in one's day .Thank you .
Who knew rewiring a light could be so entertaining? Glad it all worked out.

This vlog had everything in it, chit chat, shopping, lunch, problem solving and belly laughs….thanks 👍
& no porcelain 😂

I agree. It's so refreshing to see someone normal for a change.
Or a women lol
Of course he needs a puppy! And we know which one. Not a single appearance of even a stray dog in this whole vlog.
Liked the sunglasses too….yes to puppy!

Another enjoyable vlog Brian. Boy did that steak look good. Thank you for sharing.
I absolutely look forward to your day to day activities.
That's it fixing things and brightening our days 💡☀️👍Thanks
😂😂😂
I rewire lamps and don't think I've had that many do-overs, but that was quite humerous!
So laughed at the way you were talking about French language in your Irish voice 😄😄
“Grab a fire extinguisher”😮🧯
🤣🤣🤣
Do you have junkyards in France? Sometimes you can get old car parts for cheap. Junkyards are where old cars go when they die, in the US anyway.
I thought of that straightaway as they are wont to say in the UK.
I actually feel like I was listening to my own brain when you were fixing the light. 😂
Loved my daily ‘dose’ of Brian 😂 You are a natural and a real joy 🤩
“Leroy Merlin” I laughed so much, because we call it “Mr Leroy Merlin” whenever we are in France and pass one, your friend would be very cross with us!!! 😂😂😂
Brilliant vlog as always, absolutely love them 😊
Leroy Merlin was named after it's owner and his wife, nothing to do with kings
France actually has a national office to protect their language! They take it very seriously.
Indeed they do. Leroy Merlin even has a Wikipedia page with the correct IPA pronunciation -- [ləʁwa mɛʁlɛ̃]
yep. If my old brain remembers they tried to purge all non French works and create substitute words.
@@suewilson1801 Australia had to change wine labels
hi brian, the lamp looks stunning ! so nice ! i m curious to see that up on the wall in the evening !!!
Talking out loud to yourself - I can relate!! 😂 My excuse is that it gives my thoughts reality and validity, and credibility!
That's how you get all the answers!
Daniel Preston, watch this video and if Brian offers to help wire the Chateau just tell him that you have already hired someone for that. 🤣 Nothing against you Brian. You are a brilliant man. You truly are. 😂

Always a good day when a notice that Brain has posted his daily!
Most entertaining.. 😂

👍 for sharing your day with us, Brian
Limoges looked very pretty 😍
I like their old glass/porcelain. ❤
I love my Android, but getting a case that covers front and back has saved my phone.
Isn't it great to take us all with you everyday and having someone to talk to, but at the same time being alone and not having to deal with anyone.
I almost died watching you assemble that lamp! So entertaining! And you didn’t even get mad! 😂😂😂
I forgot how much I liked Limoge. It’s been years since I visited. The light looks lovely, well done.
I love that you get coffees often, and at interesting places 😊
Its so incrediblely beautiful and like a fariy tale when you drive the towns
Glad someone let you know about the Murderbot series by Martha Wells it’s my new favourite read.
Wow well I got my coffee today lol. You know , I would love for you and Dan to be my sons as you certainly would keep my mind alive and laughing . Love you vlogs 🤗
Very productive day! The village was beautiful and your lunch was the chef’s kiss!
Leroy Merlin is simply the name of the two founders: Adolphe Leroy et Rose Merlin. No royalty involved. This is France …
Find some nerd to 3D print a new boot part
Leroy Merlin!! LOL Hillarious!! I can just see the French getting so disgusted..SOO funny... Loved that one!
Love it nice light! My Dad was an electrician, I used to be his helper good memories.
"Liroïe Merline"... or the art of putting some poetry in the name of simple DIY stores🧡😉, j'adore !

True Success is not in the path you take to get there, but that the finished product looks good and works correctly 😊
Brian, happy you had yet another adventurous good day!😊
I love the old towns. The city center and wonder what they were like so many years ago when the town was in its early years.
Loved your patience with the light assembly! Very enjoyable start to finish. 👍🏻👍🏻
Your subscribers number is climbing fast, and rightly so! Tuning in to your channel is like meeting a close friend.
Brian I could listen to you fix stuff and talk to yourself all day!
It's so funny when you are talking to yourself while working on the lamb! 😅and you need a bit of a haircut at the front Brian! Love the vlog!💋
