This is so spot in. I have been under attack for a year or more. It has been a questioning spirit always saying are you too old, Are you good enough, is this really what God wants you to do? Finally 2 Sunday's ago I went for prayer and was told " go whatever way you choose and God is wirh you. It was like a foggy day evaporated and I was free to finally defeat that spirit. Here we go!
Wow, this is so accurate for my situation right now. Never in my life have I experienced such outrageous spiritual warfare than in this season, right now and I’ve been a Christian for over 30 years (I accepted Jesus at 5). I’ve been praying for and believing for an end to human trafficking, specifically in Florida and the Lord gave me a vision that he’s crushing this horrific form of slavery in His hands. He will do it and I’m believing for justice in Jesus’ name ❤

I just literally highlighted, two days ago, a page from your, Shawn, personally signed book, "The Throne Room Company" page 20-21 Demonic Distractions "This spirit of unbelief in our culture comes through a religious spirit, which has always been one of the greatest strongholds of the Church. This religious spirit causes us to be more preoccupied with our struggling humanity, stealing our focus from God. It causes us to become so focused on this temporal life and how we relate to it in our weak attempt at faith that we cannot focus on the greater mandate of our eternal calling" and "Hell's Secret" page 22, "In fact, the "father of lies" is disturbed that God would freely give humans what Satan so desired: to be like Jesus, and to be glorified in Heaven with Him." Also, reflecting on the Apostle Paul saying his thorn in his flesh was a messenger from Satan to buffet him, I believe because it was a "messenger" it was the demonic realm relentlessly reminding him of what he, Paul, did to Christians, killing them, speaking to his mind, trying to stop him in his renewed life in Christ and ministry. I've never heard anyone speak on this, but the enemy attacks our minds and attempts to get us into unbelief all day long. Hello! I am wanting to grow and mature in what I believe God is trying to teach me is the gift of Words of Knowledge. I have had a difficult time finding anything regarding this gift. I believe it falls under the prophetic gifting, but it's still different. I'm wondering about your course, "Understanding the Prophetic Gifts" if you also teach about words of knowledge?
I'm not any leader or in any ministry, but I've experienced way worse attacks since I got my calling, than I ever have had in my entire life as a believer before it, no warnings as to what to expect before it, getting attacked through even the closest in family despite believers, by some leaders, etc when showing to Scripture, or mentioning what God has shown. Most having done all to hinder me getting out in my calling, where God basically told me to move/ get going long time ago, now at times most looks so hard, for every step up, it seems like one gets pushed back again, or as I described to someone, as to push towards a moving wall or a hippo in the way.
Part of the problems pastors face as I see it that what their main purpose is to train us up for the works of the ministry but somehow in America it seems like most congregations see them as an emotional and spiritual packmule to carry the weight of the entire congregation and that would exaust anyone and extended exaustion will generally lead to depression but they are not supposed to get depressed! Great men of faith don't get depressed or so the people think, so to pastors Moses, Jonah,Elijah and Jeremiah all 4 either prayed to die or outright asked God to kill em', Moses got the best plan in my opinion, Spread that load around!
Billy Graham never walked into an empty room, hotel room alone. He jealously protected his testimony, however he had like a 30 second clip on the show “Laugh In”-(saying “Billy Graham on Laugh In? After all Jesus ate with publicians and sinners”) Lol

For the last week, I've been waken up three times at night time to pray for my family. I can feel a dark presence, and it will be lifted after I prayed, everytime. God is SOO good, and the peace HE gives is out of this world...

Shawn, please be careful when you invite people to donate. It is true that God blesses people when they give to a ministry- ANY ministry. And one of those blessings IS often a breakthrough the giver needs. But please be careful not to say it as though they are “sowing for blessings.” People need to give because they want to help advance the gospel or participate in a ministry they have been blessed by, etc., NOT as a “pre-payment” for something they need or want from God. People are already criticizing you for “prophecies that don’t come true for people”, etc. - don’t give them ammunition for telling people you are saying they must “sow seeds with you for their blessings to come.” I’m an SoCal SSM grad and have been blessed by you for many years, so I don’t mean this as tearing you down.

Here is where it comes from in our heart: Sowing into Prophetic Promise: A Step of Faith In 2 Corinthians 9:6-8, Paul teaches, “Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” When we give in faith-especially toward a prophetic promise-we’re not just giving money; we’re planting seeds into God’s future for us. There’s a beautiful story in 1 Kings 17:7-16 where a widow in Zarephath sowed her last bit of flour and oil to feed the prophet Elijah. Despite her desperate situation, she gave what little she had because of the prophetic word Elijah carried. Her obedience led to a supernatural provision-her jar of flour and jug of oil never ran dry until the drought ended. When God places a prophetic word on your heart, sowing financially can be a powerful act of partnership with Him. It’s an expression of trust, saying, “Lord, I believe in what You’ve spoken, and I choose to align my resources with Your promise.” As you release the seed, you open the door for divine multiplication. Just as the widow saw God’s abundant provision, we can trust that our giving invites God’s faithfulness into our lives.

I just saw this topic and I feel very tired by ongoing battles and seeming backwardness in my life and calling. Warfare has been on levels that I’ve never experienced.
My wife and I pastor an AG church in southwest North Dakota in a rural area. For the last three years I have had a battle with prostate cancer and various other issues. But we are believing the Lord for breakthrough. We baptized 26 in May and having another baptism service today. Believing for the harvest. It’s our turn!!!

Especially with mega churches because the need to maintain burns people out. Most churches I’ve been to also associate your spiritual health and promotion based on how many hours you give. This is yo the detriment of marriages and raising families. It’s not a very balanced environment!!!!
