    You explain difficult concepts in ways that everyone can understand and you never talk down. You have. Within you an encyclopedia of knowledge that your teachings make connections almost seamlessly

    Brilliant concept about bris mila and revealing what is already within the neshama of the child. I have never heard that before, and I wish more American Jews could be taught that

    How could Avraham have known about Tefillin, through the Oral Law, when that was only revealed at Mount Sinai through Moshe?

    Of course there has to be physicality in Olam Habah! Don't we conceive of it as - perfection or IDEAL unity between the physical and the spiritual?

    • @diniusa1385
      @diniusa1385 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      There are distinctions between worlds post moshiach including olam haba. There may for a period of time be a world in which exists the ideal spiritual and physical integration, after which there is existence of pure soul world ( or maybe even the other way round. Can’t remember which). Ive heard diff versions

      @diniusa1385 I understand you.
      But keep in mind, that G-D knows what you PINE for, and that is - PURE BLISS with the ultimate combination of the spiritual and physical - FOREVER! ☺️😉

    Another thought about Noah and Abraham: doesn't it say that the generations who were closer to the Siniatic Revelation we're on a HIGHER LEVEL than subsequent ones?
    So why can't you say that Noah was closer to the ultimate revelation of G-D, through the most PERFECTED HUMAN BEING, ever - Adam - than Avraham was?

    Of course, Hashem can express His Ratzon either way the election is decided. However, the same is true of B'Ita Achishena... one way is with a lot of suffering and the other way is with pleasure for Klal Yisroel. B"H Trump's victory is a harbinger for Achishena!

    The comments regarding Noah and Abraham and perhaps be understood as follows:
    The people of Noah's generation were NOT amenable to conversation or even wishful - Teshuva - thinking or hope!! You can understand from a modern example of the - Arab Pakistani and Iranian - Muslim! A professor of political science spent 30 years or more in the Arab Middle East and wrote an article Mishpacha ha Magazine 2018 March , where he said, to paraphrase - " you cannot communicate or talk with an Arab Muslim, other than agree with everything he says, or he will become extremely emotional, threaten and even attack and kill you!"
    Now you can better understand that if there is NO RECIPIENT of your kindness and mercy, it makes NO SENSE - EVEN TO TRY! Remember, it takes - TWO TO TANGO!

  • @jakobw135

    One of the DERIVATIVES of this Noah versus Abraham comparison has to do with saving your parent or your Torah teacher in a situation where only one can be rescued. The law seems to say that the teacher comes FIRST.
    But again, that sounds unreasonable and makes NO sense!
    You are EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED to your parent - much more - than your teacher. And don't we learn from G-D, that without your parents, you would not exist - just like without the Creator - no one and nothing, would be here!
    So, doesn't it show that not only is what comes before CRITICAL as far as everything else that follows, but it must be at least as important if not more so?

  • @jakobw135
    @jakobw135 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    P.S.& N.B. suggestion that Noah and his actions or lack thereof was somehow INFERIOR to those of Abraham and his generation does not make any sense because you're suggesting that the prerequisite for the existence of the subsequent generations - was somehow LESS WORTHY than what came afterwards!
