  • What is going on everybody, this is TGA, and in today's video, we're in Essex, visiting Grays Police Station, Thurrock's main police station, where no copy of PACE is available, once again a station that doesn't understand about PACE.

Out of all the people in the public area of the police station, they were only interested if the man with a camera was OK !!

A great audit - well handled, polite, clear footage and outcome. Textbook work - well done.

lol they came out with the intentions of throwing you out. They have been getting away with doing so in Essex. Need more audits. So well done TGA. 😁 Typically at Southend station around 3 of them literally throw people filming out.

Police had BWC recording.Did they inform all members of the public of this?

Code g of pace is the most interesting imo. And 1.5 of code g clearly states it should be available at police stations to members of the public
It's 1.2 for code C. If it's available.on the website, there's no reason that their physical copies should only be for detainees only.
    Good work bud

Here we go again....she says someone could come in to report their partner, who doesn't know....right, where would the partner search within this lot?
How many TH-cam videos are there? There are at least 800 million videos on TH-cam and quite possibly many more than this.18 May 2022
Same goes for the muppets who always say they don't want their number plates filmed in case someone who wishes them harm follows them home etc.etc.

As a social experiment, if you ran off, do you think they would run after you, even though you've done nothing wrong!

Hi T G A, this encounter in the cop-shop went quite well but you could have told the second one off about telling you to be careful about what might be visible behind the counter, GDPR is totally explicit!, it is the data handlers legal obligation to protect all sensitive data, that does not include any expectation of members of the public.
Much the same applies to the next one with the assertion that copies of PACE need only be available to detained suspects in interview, this appears to be a confusion based on the fact that such individuals must be informed of the availability, everybody else has to ask for it. If it is in fact available for suspects why is that source not available to the public?.
While much of the legislation does lack clarity one of the features of PACE is the conspicuous lack of ambiguity!, none of them have any excuse for their false interpretations these can only be the product of poor training and lack of discipline.
Much of the problem seems to me to be related to the fact that police recruits are trained to and expect to obey orders, they are not expected to properly understand the reasons behind those instructions, still less to interrogate their instructors. This all part of the systemic corruption of a culture that focuses on authoritarian control instead of education and persuasion.
    Cheers, Richard.

Good video as usual, but you didn't block out the peoples faces as you told the wpc and sergeant that you would, why? You don't seem to realise that the people in your video could be a victim of domestic violence and don't want their ex abuser to know what area of the country they're living in. Please use some discretion when filming people at the police stations reception desk.
