In the video describing the schematic, I meant NPN transistor not PNP. Also in the schematic the top capacitor is connected wrong. It should connect to the junction between the 10K and 220K resistors, not to the 220K resistor as it is in the schematic from the video. I was in a rush to film the video as I must get back to work 😄. Note to self... do not film videos at 6AM 😂. Thanks so much Ian and Hendrik for letting me know. 73, YO6DXE P.S. You beginner ? 😁
Thanks Nigel. Ohh yes finally hahaha. I had no time and I felt like a pirate with that hair lately 🤣. I kept thinking about you lately... this week is the Easter week here in Romania so I will finally have free time. We must catch up on the radio shows. I hope you are doing good. We talk soon. 73 my friend.
Yes hehehe. That is why I love it. By the way... there is a mistake in the schematic.... the result of filming at 6am. The top capacitor does not connect to the 220K resistor... but to the junction between the 10K resistor with the 220K resistor. 73, YO6DXE.
Hi Chip, nice little filter, I may have to use it in a project. I think there is a small error in your circuit. The top capacitor should connect to the junction of the 10k and 220k resistors. As it stands the capacitors are just connected in parallel and there would be no filtering. Take care, 73, VK7IAN
Yes.. my friend Henrik just messaged me on Whassapp to tell me the same thing. I filmed at 6AM no wonder I draw badly 🤣. I will correct it in the blog article. Thanks for letting me know Ian. I just noticed now. 73, YO6DXE
Simple is what I also like 😄😄. Should me my nickname 🤣. Sounds really great for how simple it is. 73, YO6DXE ( P.S. The top capacitor in the schematic I had it wrong. You've had a hair cut! Well done 😊

Very nice and simple single transistor filter and without a coil 😁

Very good. I like this cw filter, I might use it in few schematics (I love how simple it is😁). you are great guy. good luck 🍀. 4l1lat 73!.

@@dxexplorer at 6 in the morning I even don't know my name 🤣 if you accidentally made mistake it nothing 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@4L1LAT Yes but I wanted to let you know now... so you don't wonder later why the filter doesn't work 🤣🤣.
@@dxexplorer 🤣🤣. ok thanks in advance. good luck and 73!. good luck.
@4L1LAT 73 my friend and have fun with the filter. I can't wait to finish the receiver now 😁😁
A very useful video and thanks for the detailed explanation, I'm a beginner and it helped a lot. 73, Ace G0ACE

@@dxexplorer Ah those early mornings! Thanks for the correction.
Way too many lately 😁... but this week I will simply stop and take a vacation... first one in four years. Is about time 😁.
@@dxexplorer Enjoy!
@acestudioscouk-Ace-G0ACE Thank you so so much 🙏🙏🙏
