  • I show you how I make a deep black indelible ink from acorn cups and other easy to find ingredients.
    Next Autumn why not try to gather as many acorn cups as you can and try this easy recipe to make an organic, sustainable and eco friendly ink that you can use in your art making, calligraphy or craft projects.
    This is the second of my lockdown 'Sustainable Art at Home' videos so I hope you enjoy it and please let me know if you try this for yourself.

      That's a great idea! I'm sure it would be much darker. I searched and searched but couldn't find many walnut trees near me :(

    Does the mortar & pestal need to be kept separate from grinding other spices or material after using it to grind the acorn caps/cups? Thanks for sharing this wonderful informational video.

    a good bindervton use is gum arabic.
