- In this video you can see me catching octopuses (to eat them). They live in holes, or under a rock or so. In one or two scenes you can see me breaking piece of rock covered with weed to get octopus out (just a ROCK LOL), but some wise guys thought that I'm breaking corrals. There are no shallow water coral reefs in Croatia.. I would never break corals anyway.. Only corals that I know of being much, much deeper and I could never get to them by breath diving... Also in this video you can see me having fun teasing little moray eel into biting octopus.

Such a bummer! I agree that this is less traumatizing than most animals are put through in factory farms and all, but i just dont understand eating an octopus. They are SO intelligent and emotional. Very sad for them.

Its their self defense, its thick black ink that creates "smoke screen" to blind threats and allows octopus to escape, same like squids and cuttlefish

Why is it hard to hold the octopus
They are all muscle, with very slippery skin, and many suction cups on each tentacle. So they can suck onto you or someting and pull their body in direction they like, while on the other hand when you try to grab them they can relax and retract that tentacle making it soft and its already slippery thus very hard to hold on to

It was just that one time, usually I don't do that, but also they are great builders, they hurdle rocks and sea shells from all over to build their homes, so no biggie, they can rebuild :)
