I really liked how you broke this song down. Despite not knowing much about him and BTS, you hit the nail on the head with the meaning. Well done. Good reaction!
"he just wants to be a simple flower." oh man you really nailed the main point of the song only one verse in. don't know why but that description of rm made me smile. i just know he would enjoy that assessment of him:)
You are the first reactor who isn't a native Korean speaker who got to the essence of this song without any help. I loved your commentary! Thank you for your thoughtful review. RM believes songwriting is all about the lyrics.
10:21 “he had some nice lyrics in there”. I couldn’t agree more! RM is one of the best lyricists I’ve heard (and I’m 68 yo). He kinda reminds me of Paul Simon - thoughtful and yet more accessible than, say, Leonard Cohen. He now has just over 200 songwriting credits with the Korean Music Copyright Association (or whatever it is properly called) and he’s all of 28 yo …. Incredible
You’re one of the most thoughtful reactors I’ve seen. I’ll add just add some context. Most importantly, BTS is quite different in formation, process, and output from the ‘kpop’ stereotype. RM writes and produces most of the music he sings or raps, including this song and album. Really, you should forget any comparisons or framing with ‘Kpop’ because it’s meaningless and misleading. You even assumed BTS is ‘the biggest group in Korea.’ They’re actually the biggest group in the world by every metric (feel free to confirm)
Can yall ARMYs stop spreading misinformation about kpop when you basically don't know anything about other groups or the industry at large and just parrot things you read/heard elsewhere. BTS are NOT the only kpop group who writes their own music, and among groups that do they're not even the most involved (for example look at the album credits for Seventeen, Woozi's name comes first or second for lyrics and composition in a majority of their songs, while a lot of BTS songs have at least a few other names before any of the members'). BTS does not exist outside of the kpop industry, they were born from it - and their unprecedented success has inspired positive change in it. One such change being that it's now become much more standard for idols to be involved in the creative process from debut, be it with music, choreography, or concepts. There's always been a tendency for more idols to grain a degree of creative control with seniority, but the 4th generation (for Ric : groups debuting since 2018) has a lot more groups that have heavy influence on their own output from the get go. BTS were an oddity when they debuted because BigHit treated them like actual artists from the start, but now they're just a major inspiration for everybody else. Every kpop agency is trying to replicate BTS's success, and the group being authentic artists is a huge part of their appeal for Western fans. This need some ARMYs seem to have to talk shit about the kpop industry to hype BTS really, really irks me. BTS got me into kpop, and I'll always be thankful they exist because their success has allowed a lot of other groups I love to exist and thrive.
@@ashurasama While generalizing to “yall ARMYs”, you missed reading the qualifier ‘“k-pop’ stereotype” the comment is based on; a stereotype you thoroughly described to argue against the commentator, but supporting the argument that BTS stands out for having been formed in the margins of the K-pop industry, and with its global success not only helping to place Korean music on the world map, but also paving the way for the K-pop giant industry to slightly “change” their toxic practices; unfortunately still more a tokenism than real change.
@@ashurasama 'among groups that do they're not even the most involved' I'm sorry this one took me out. Even if most their group songs has few other writers other than them, which mostly consists of their in-house pd, we all know bts always has input in their production, dont forget that even since beginning bts members has been making songs for free that is entirely made by them, (Eg: suga & rm's mixtape). BTS has 3 members in the top 15 idols with KOMCA credits. These members are part of BTS and they have always, without fail making sure there are part of BTS in their songs. BTS has rappers that actually write their own parts. Bts vocal line has also been contributing ever since their early years, eg: JK credits on Love is not over(2015), TH Hold Me Tight (2015), its because the members has always work in music bootcamp system which later they'll pick on the best. BTS members as a whole can functions and contribute musically individually, not just one member carrying the group. BTS is different, from the beginning and still unique now. I've been into kpop years before BTS, and still up to date with the newer generation, but I think the first comment was well said. Harsh for kpopers, but true. Disclaimer, sorry if I sound aggresive, just enjoy reading the opinion and decided to spill mine too.
Absolutely loved your reaction and analysis. If you're interested, Namjoon (RM) talks in depth about the album and the tracks in the Indigo Album film interview, it's a great insight into his work process and just himself as an artist. The whole album is incredibly cohesive and yet manages to include a great diversity of genres, in fact, no song in the album has the same genre and yet it works perfectly. Highly recommend giving it a listen from start to finish (with lyrics on the side if possible). Thank you so much for your reaction and analysis. 💜
Thank you for being open minded and respectful when sharing your thoughts. You are a great reactor, you try and could see what the singer try to convey through the song, you pay attention to the lyrics, and sharing your thoughts honestly. This means a lot to us, because RM puts a lot of attention to his lyrics. Stay healthy, may only good things filled your future :)
Eso del filósofo no lo sabía; siempre pensé que Suga era el más crítico y reflexivo, pero conocía del alto coeficiente de Namjoon y lo inteligente que es.
Yes, he talk a lot in Wild Flower - his personal struggles, identity crisis, the pressure/intensity & the loneliness of his success etc. The lyrics are raw, emotional and heart wrenching that even just as a listener I empathise to him. Wild flower brought us along his roller coaster ride of his 20s (where he climbed to become the biggest band in the world, bringing near bankrupt company to billion $$ company and what it feel like being on top) - the storm, fireworks, barren land, calm flower field. Very deep and personal song. RM has been the groups spokesperson, the main face/shield of BTS and been in the industry for more than a decade - this album Indigo is the last archive of his 20s and rather than living a short lasted fame he want to glow beautify and peacefully like a wildflower. Love watching your analysis.
Holy cow! I'm so impressed! You COMPLETELY understood the metaphors and meaning of Namjoon's lyrics on a first time listen not even knowing very much about him or BTS. I'm subscribing to you, you are a very intelligent and insightful man. I look forward to more BTS reactions from you! Wow. If you're interested in more BTS songs I'll list some for you below. That was RM talking in Black Swan as well. He was trying to warn people that this was coming. He wanted to take a break back in 2018 but it was pretty much impossible at that time and he agreed to keep going.
Thank you,I enjoyed this a lot,and don't watch many reactions these days. Things you may not know about Namjoon; He is a genius with an IQ of 148 He reads a LOT of books He loves spending time being himself in natural surroundings,we call this 'Namjooning' He is an avid collector and patron of arts. His lyrics are always on an elite level, and he started out as a teenage underground rapper. ON is another song dealing with their fame, and Run BTS is about how they rose to the top from a teenage group under a small, verging on bankrupt company.
Enjoyed your reaction and analysis of the lyrics. It's hard to imagine the pressure they were under, not just to write, release and perform their music but also to be spokespeople for their country with 3 speeches at the United Nations, Special Presidential Envoys with their own diplomatic passports, attend a press conference/meeting with Biden at the Whitehouse, be speakers for the US graduates for Class of 2020 and then for Korea's graduating students. It would have been extremely stressful on top of all they had to do just music wise.
This was really a fantastic reaction and your breakdown was spot on for someone that does not follow the group and it's members. Thank you so much for your willingness to react as well as your open mind. One thing I love about these guys is their love and passion for making music and writing poetic lyrics. They have always been 100% open and honest with how they feel and what they struggle with during their rise to fame. They were so overwhelmed with the fame & love they have garnered all over the world and yet at the same time they have been very mistreated by companies and individuals in the music industry in their own country and other coutries. They do not do the "Pay to Play" here in the U.S. so radio stations will not play most of their music as well as it being in mostly Korean, even though radio get tons of requests to play them. Hoever, with all that being said, all the walls that have been thrown up to keep them down has not worked. They have said in not so many words that now days music does not get played or win awards because it's good music, it's how well you play the game, payola and schmooze with the industry. They refuse to do that and it has taken them a long time to get where they are today...
This was a wonderful breakdown of the song! I hope you give the entire album a listen. RM is so very creative and thoughtful. Every song is a different genre connected by his voice of his late twenties. Thank you!
Great analysis. I just would like to add a piece of context. Idol music is a young peoples' corporate enterprise which has an expected life span in the case of male Idols the presumptive end largely being defined by mandatory enrollment in military service. Groups start as trainees and historically dreams have involved recognition and success in Korea and neighboring Asian countries. So, RM when he decided to be a trainee would not have had global aspirations beyond perhaps a modicum of exposure. Further, he would have known his military service to be a demarcation point when corporate Idol expectations would have been lifted. He now could form relationships and indeed a family while making his own future choices largely without Idol restrictions. A new generation of corporate Idols would carry the corporations. I think RM finds himself in the unique position that this "beautiful fall" he anticipated before ever debuting may be a reality the idiosyncratic success of BTS has made difficult if not impossible. The normal course of an Idol's journey may not be achievable, and the expected fading away may be more a walk along a public path. So "Wild Flower" is a catharsis, a working out of how he will proceed upon leaving the military. He, and presumably all BTS, will be largely separating themselves from the shackles of the Idol Platform replacing them with artistic creations flowing from their soul. They are fortunate that Big Hit Music seems prepared to join them on this new chapter as stylistic choices become much more individual.
Thank you for your reaction. I really enjoyed and appreciated your insight. This song tears me apart for my own selfish reasons. RM words, poetry, lyrics have shaped my life the last few years. I never want him to stop because his words have meant so much. His words get me out of bed, get me on the tread mill and to sing out loud. He has no idea what he inspires in me. I want to do better to be better because of his footprints. When I started following BTS, RM would talk about what books he was reading. Since High School, I might read 1 book a year usually during a vacation, but RM would talk about what he was reading or how a book inspired him to write a song. I couldn't read the book fast enough. I was learning so much about Korea & the world, just by following BTS, a foreign music group. RM lit a fire inside of me. Even though I want the best for him. Even though I want him to be able to lay down in a field of wildflowers, my own selfishness wants more. I want his words, his wisdom, his lyrics & his poetry to always be a part of my life.
I love RM and Grogu. And I love a more cerebral reaction. Subbed. Interesting you mentioned the 29 club where all these rock stars died at the age of 29. These guys are about that age now. PS: They were at breaking point in 2018 but decided to sign another 7 year contract and blew up bigger than they thought they could.
Really great reaction!! I have watched so many reactors and you were by far the BEST! I think his kind of I’ll be back one day, is to us because he is getting ready to leave and go to the military.
RM is a writer, producer, rapper, singer, dancer, a power house on stage, but Namjoon with his IQ of 148, is a poet, reader, art collector ,lover of nature, off stage is humble and shy. all of these things make RM/ Kim Namjoon . This whole album reaches my heart.
💜🇧🇷💜that song gets me every time 💜🥹 just beautiful and powerful, amazing lyrics! RM is a poet, just amazingly beautiful this song and this collaboration.💜💜💜💜💜💜 Thanks so much for taking time to check this lyrics and appreciate the artist. 💜💜💜💜💜💜
I really love how you got right to the meaning of the song.. especially the part about a wildflower!! It is good to see new people appreciating rm's work
Appreciate the insight, (and you have a great voice!). Thanks for taking the time to listen to this track; I'm fiercely proud of RM for putting such a vulnerable album out, and I'm always happy to hear from people who aren't familiar with BTS and KPOP giving their kudos to him. Takes away that misdirected, insulated way of thinking of "oh, well, he's just a kpop artist." Because he's much more than that.
New subscriber here. Thank you for taking the time to review and react to RM's "WildFlower.' I have heard a lot of analyses of this song, and I find yours to be particularly fresh and insightful. If you're inclined to learn more about BTS' vast discography - most of which RM participated in creating - I'd recommend 'Fake Love,' 'Magic Shop' and 'Spring Day.' I understand that ballads are not at the top of your musical wish list, but you might appreciate these. The lyricism and artistry are impossible to ignore!
I see someone already commented but we stay away from the kpop label. It boxes BTS in in a way to small box. BTS are a supergroup from S. Korea, RM is a rapper. They do all sorts of music and are the biggest group in the world. 7 really humble talented artist together in 1 group. Right now all of them are releasing solo albums one after the other, then going to serve into mandatory military service and will be back as a full group again in 2025. The first member Jin left today and they will probably all leave within around the first half maybe a bit more in 2023. j-hope also a rapper from BTS have released an album 'Jack in The Box' back in the summer. Jin. one of BTS vocalists. released a solo single called 'The Astronaut' before he left, a collab with Coldplay who are friends with BTS and wrote the song, Jin then wrote lyrics. There are one more rapper in BTS called SUGA and three more vocalists, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook that are all working on their solo albums. You can expect each members album to be very different because all the members are all very talented but also very different from each other.
I really like your reaction. As if you know BTS. They worked so hard to get where they want, the price of which they cannot enjoy what they want neither smell the flower the way they want, especially #RMofBTS. They miss that simplicity of life. 💜💜💜🌹🌹🌹
wow such a refreshing reaction. you are so respectful and i absolutely enjoyed every minute of this reaction. please check out his whole album Indigo, it's an actual masterpiece. RM is a poet and a genius.
I love that you recognized the tie into the themes from Black Swan by the whole group. RM'S voice and thoughts are well represented in BTS'S music since he's one of the primary lyricists in the group, so it's definitely not a coincidence!
Careful! BTS makes hearts and minds grow unexpectedly. They made my middle aged brain fall in love with literature again. Thank you for a thoughtful reaction. Be well! 💜🇨🇦
What a great reaction. I would definitely love to hear more about what you think of BTS and of course the members solo work too. If you do decide to react to more then can I suggest you watch The Bangtan Seven by Taylor. This gives you a very brief overview on each member, they really are a true underdog story. There are MANY misconceptions about BTS but at their core it is all about the music and lyrics. The videos, visuals etc are just a bonus for us ARMY. They all write and produce and honestly no group works harder. To give you an idea, they debuted in 2013 and the first extended period of rest they took (4 weeks) was in 2019, only 6 years later! Good luck.💜
For someone who doesn't know much about the group, you broke down the lyrics better than most! I'm so happy that you analyzed the lyrics cuz most reactors don't really pay attention to the details
RM is a poet that paints such a clear picture. We know he feels all these things. He has a deep love of being out in nature. When Armys are out in nature we call it Namjooning. He hates the fame but also knows it is what he thought he wanted. I ll never forget how he did a full bow to us at the end of their concert. He loves us but in a way I think he wishes it was just BTS and Army. Forgetting the rest of the world while we just enjoy the love shared between us.
To me, it also sounded like he wanted both (the best of both worlds, if you will). He wants the anonymity, peace, zen of being a wildflower, but he alsocan't fully let go of the ambition that led him to his dream, led him here, to be like a firework. He wants something like the glory and spectacle of a firework but also the endurance and simplicity of the wildflower... hence the refrain of "Flowerwork"
this song hit me hard truly he put his whole heart into this album no doubt you can feel it by the lyrics alone. and if you wanna get to know the members of bts id suggest the guide to the 7 members of bangtan itll help you get to know them and understand so much more about them idavidually and as a group. oh that guide is by Taylor Mari
I loved your reaction! Thank you! Personally I think what he is saying is that he wants to last. The album is an archieve of his 20s - by Korean counting he will be 30 soon. At the moment he needs to find his footing as an Individual outside of the group that is BTS; He more than any of the other members because he always had to be the team leader/spokeperson, especially when it had to be in English. He needs the "flowerfield" to breath again. Instead of fireworks he wants flowerworks: Firework is pretty but over so fast - RM has spoken about how what fascinates him with art is it's longlivety. Flowers thrown into the air take longer to fall - not as flashy but just as pretty. Personally I'm under the impression that every last one of them actually loves the stage and performing in front of Army. It is just that sometimes you can forget that when you are under too much pressure and too much criticism (and damn did that go out of controll so often - they came from nothing - SK has a very strict social structure (Korean spoon theory) that you maybe can change when you have a diplom of a highly respected university, otherwise... well ) The artists who were supposed to be at the top were already highly promoted by the Big 3 and their connections that could push (almost) everyone out + other countries like the US not wanting to share their market (a fad is okay - they love new flowers - but it need to be pushed out soon out as a One Hit wonder): They were not wanted and the BS thrown from those privileged (mainly the labels and the entertainment media) has an echo till today. RM had to find why he actually loves te stage more than once - but he always did. Now he needs some breathing room and to sort his colors which is also what this album is about. It has many collabs from artists he admires and quiet a few he grew up with/are well known (youyeen/Cherry Filter for example is actually pretty famous in SK) Soon he will have to go to do his military service, too. But this song also holds hope and the promise that he will be back - on stage and in the field (he loves walking in nature and we coined the term Namjooning because of it - his name is Kim Namjoon - family name first). So "light a flower" instead of fireworks that look from above like a storm. It's a phrase he played with for years but it is finally part of his lyrics: Flowerowrks. But the rest is as you said: the way dreams get lost in the pressure that fame and antis bring. Our Joonie is such a poetic soul - and he knows that is his strength! 😉 You nice! Keep going! 💜
спасибо! Мне очень понравились ваши размышления о песне. Обязательно прослушайте весь альбом Indigo в том порядке, в котором расположены треки (это была просьба RM). У BTS есть огромное количество песен, по которым можно очень много думать и рефлексировать.
Thanks for a great reaction. At the end of that video was a link to the Indigo magazine film, I think you would enjoy it. All the Bts members are releasing solo work before they each enlist in the mandatory military service. We will miss them but it’s an exciting time for their solo work. 💜💜
The problem of fame BTS have is that they started as humble, “I want a big house, big cars, big rings”, but along the road when they become quite successful, they become some kind of hero to minorities. They become Asian representation, their country's representation, the world's expectation for them to be good people, etc. Well, they are all good people, and that's why they can carry the weight. But they are also got criticized for not being environmentally friendly enough, for not fighting for human rights enough, etc, etc... What I like from BTS and each of the group member is that they talk real within their lyrics, what is their point of view at that moment, their thought, their mental state. And it gives me a lot of courage too, because they are just the same as us.
The “29 club” - RM released this song (and album) as he is nearing the end of his twenties too, articulating the struggles and joys. Hoping he has a much much longer life and artistic career.
I really enjoyed your reaction. I've watched his Tiny concert where he also talked about this and a couple of other songs from the album. I've been listening to the album for the past week or so and I really love it. This particular track makes my heart cry.
Bts is 3 rappers and 4 vocalist and all dance, the write and produced there songs. Bts have 6 nr 1 songs at Billboard 100 and 6 nr 1 Albums at Billboard 200 the are tied whid Beatles for having 3 nr 1 albums in less than 1 year. bts also have 12 Billboard Awards, Ama Awards, Mtv, Vma. The are the biggest group in the world. This guys was underdogs in this industri. the came from a small company that only had Bts and a solo singer. Bts company today is the biggest muisc company in Korea, the even bought itacha label that have Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and moore the are now in same family as Bts
Appreciate your thoughts and your reaction. Yes, the boys of BTS always strive to give us lyrics worth listening to which makes them so special. They care about that. RM's album Indigo is superb💜
Great reaction. Appreciate you checked out our RM and enjoyed your perspective of his song. Hope you check out more of his and other members of BTS solo songs or albums. They are all worth it in my opinion.😊
wow i really loved this. you honoured his lyrics. and rm also known as namjoon his birth name. said the most important thing he hopes people do when listening to this new album is to pay attention to the lyrics and digest the lyrics. so thank you for focusing on the lyrics and understanding the story he is trying to tell. have a good day
In Korean, fireworks are literally called "fire flowers", so there's an extra play on words here. Apparently RM told his mother when he was young that he loved fireworks, but they were so shortlived, just there and then gone. He preferred the wild flowers, who were beautiful for a long time, and sometimes their petals would blow in the wind and be beautiful one more time. And that just suits RM so well - wanting the quiet, peaceful beauty, not the loud, short-lived grandeur. He also mentioned that they've spent so long working, writing songs, that he felt he hadn't had the time to "catch up" to himself, figure out who he is after ten years of struggle and fame, taking the time for introspection and settling into "adulthood" properly. This album is him looking back on his 20s.
RM is a lyric genius! He is such a genuine and pure soul who loves nature and just living life, so it makes absolute sense that he would write about wanting to be a wild flower, it's so him. You made me realise that it would really be weird if a western artist sang about a subject like this.
Thank you for your review. Everyone thinks being a celebrity or idol is great... and it is in the process but you have to give so much of your freedom up, I think of Michael Jackson. One good thing is how open and transparent BTS is with the fans, I don't know another group that does it so well.
BTS are (sometimes painfully) honest with their music. They take chances with their music, both in terms of lyrical subjects, personally and politically to get their point across. That's a part of the reason they're so big. I grew up on some of the greatest music legends but I've never connected with any artist as much as I have with BTS. - a danish ARMY, age 45 💜
Thank you for reacting to this.. I love how you break down the lyrics and had a feeling you would like the song especially since you appreciate lyrics💜💜 When free, please listen to full album too once in order...he told this was like a diary of his 20s..it is a journey!
Thank you for your thoughtful reflection on the song. I appreciate it the more I revisit it. The producer, DOCSKIM, was so tired of the music industry that he planned to retire after doing one last song for RM. But this song convinced him to keep going.
I found Indigo surprising. There is no track I would omit. Mixing genre with a cool vibe you can listen on repeat. This album is set to be a cult classic. Extremely creative with lyrics that linger " you run away like a fish" "they've got you by the balls and your socioeconomics". It is interesting to see the vocalists he has chosen to work with. Not the new generation from the youth obsessed KPop industry.I think there is one younger artist but the others he's chosen for their specific qualities. Following the tradition of BTS he continues to defy expectation and break through barriers.
RM WILD FLOWER WAS TRENDING ON TH-cam AT NO.1 ABOUT A WEEK. ON AMERICA BILLBROAD IT HIT NO.1 ON WORLD DIGITAL SONG SALE, STILL LIFE NO.1 FOR RAP DIGITAL SONG SALES, BTS HAVE 6 SONGS THAT HIT NO.1 ON BILLBOARD HOT 100. BTS ARE REALLY BIG HERE IN STATES. BUT THEY ARE GLOBALLY WELL KNOWN THROUGH OUT THE WORLD. THEY ARE THE BIGGEST GROUP OF ARTISTS. BTS WON ARTISTS OF THE YEAR AT AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS IN 2021. THEY PERFORM "BUTTER" AT GRAMMY 2022. THIS IS ONLY IN AMERICA, NOT KOREA.

I really don't get why people struggle to understand the meaning in the first place. The lyrics are pretty explicit, after all.
JoobieLoobieSoobie, "RM believes songwriting is all about the lyrics."
RM is highly intelligent and truly a poet for our times. A genius songwriter.
More than 200 songs, credited on KOMKA.
RM is so poetic in everything, sincere and intellectual. He communicates his sense of loss/confusion so poetically

I've been into kpop years before BTS, and still up to date with the newer generation, but I think the first comment was well said. Harsh for kpopers, but true. Disclaimer, sorry if I sound aggresive, just enjoy reading the opinion and decided to spill mine too.
@@atehaishah2987 I suggest you take a look at Stray Kids' credits.
The whole album " Indigo" is a masterpiece.
The INDIGO magazine film interview on Bangtantv..
That song Black Swan was written by RM also - so it's a continuous theme and thought process that he has had and expresses.
Great analysis of the lyrics! Lyrics are one of the main reasons that Army is so enamored with BTS. One of RM's nicknames is the Philosopher.
Eso del filósofo no lo sabía; siempre pensé que Suga era el más crítico y reflexivo, pero conocía del alto coeficiente de Namjoon y lo inteligente que es.
Thank you for your thoughtful comments and for looking so carefully at the lyrics and video. Really appreciated and enjoyed this reaction. 💜
ARMY thanks you for the care you took in reating to our LEADER, POET, ARTIST, LEGEND! 💜
Wonderful reaction. RM is so talented and inspired.
This song brings me to tears. I feel his longing to be himself. To feel free again. Thank you for appreciating his artistry.💜
It's a lot so I understand that you probably can't react to them all, but even if you take the time to read my comment I'm grateful. I hope you have an amazing holiday!

That was RM talking in Black Swan as well. He was trying to warn people that this was coming. He wanted to take a break back in 2018 but it was pretty much impossible at that time and he agreed to keep going.
Thank you,I enjoyed this a lot,and don't watch many reactions these days.
Things you may not know about Namjoon;
He is a genius with an IQ of 148
He reads a LOT of books
He loves spending time being himself in natural surroundings,we call this 'Namjooning'
He is an avid collector and patron of arts.
He is a legend 👑🔥
They are fortunate that Big Hit Music seems prepared to join them on this new chapter as stylistic choices become much more individual.
thank you, i like how you explained the lyrics in understanding rm's thoughts. i enjoyed your reaction.
Enjoyed your reaction and your interpretation of RM's song, thank you!💜
Thank you for your reaction.
Seriously the best reaction to Wild Flower that I’ve watched. Thank you for deep diving into the meaning of lyrics. I believe this was RM’s goal 🥰💜
Wow, thank you!
Thank you for a wonderful reaction. First time watching. Loved it! 💜
Glad you enjoyed!
What a lovely reaction! You got it, and you got him 💜 Thank you for a thoughtful and respectful breakdown of a very personal song for RM (Namjun)
I lovee youre reaction and lyrics breakdown were really happy that his voice was being delivered through his music Thank you
I love your breakdown, very good reaction.
I appreciate it!
Really thoughtful breakdown. Thank you 😘💜
New subscriber here.
RM is my favourite artist. He is such a great lyricist and love his voice. BTS has saved many people
I really like your reaction.
Thank you for your honest reaction. You got the essence of the song very well.
I appreciate that!
Thank you for your Interpretation 💜🦋💜
Careful! BTS makes hearts and minds grow unexpectedly. They made my middle aged brain fall in love with literature again.
Thank you for a thoughtful reaction. Be well! 💜🇨🇦
He did a Tiny Desk Concert with songs from his new album its live and pretty good if you want to react to it
What a great reaction.
Wow, amazing. The fact that you were able to understand what he was conveying just by listening to the song just once.I'm definitely subscribing.
Amazing reaction! Thank you!
Love how you reacted and explained that, saw through it. Subbing just for that💜
Thanks for subbing!
Thank you for your break down, you got the meaning of the song very quickly. 💜
This was great! Thank you!💜
You're so welcome!
I'm very impressed with this reaction. You truly get it.
Such an amazing and thoughtful reaction. Thank you so much! You are a great human ☺️
Wow, thank you!
Thank you for appreciating a new masterpiece created by our Wild Flower ~ Kim Namjoon ~ #RM #WildFlower
GREAT reaction - love your breakdown and thoughtfulness of your insight. Gained a sub!
Wow, that was an awesome breakdown! First time watching your channel; enjoyed it so much! Will definitely be back if you did more BTS. 😊👍
this song hit me hard truly he put his whole heart into this album no doubt you can feel it by the lyrics alone. and if you wanna get to know the members of bts id suggest the guide to the 7 members of bangtan itll help you get to know them and understand so much more about them idavidually and as a group. oh that guide is by Taylor Mari
It is just that sometimes you can forget that when you are under too much pressure and too much criticism (and damn did that go out of controll so often - they came from nothing - SK has a very strict social structure (Korean spoon theory) that you maybe can change when you have a diplom of a highly respected university, otherwise... well )
The artists who were supposed to be at the top were already highly promoted by the Big 3 and their connections that could push (almost) everyone out + other countries like the US not wanting to share their market (a fad is okay - they love new flowers - but it need to be pushed out soon out as a One Hit wonder):
They were not wanted and the BS thrown from those privileged (mainly the labels and the entertainment media) has an echo till today.
RM had to find why he actually loves te stage more than once - but he always did.
Now he needs some breathing room and to sort his colors which is also what this album is about. It has many collabs from artists he admires and quiet a few he grew up with/are well known (youyeen/Cherry Filter for example is actually pretty famous in SK)
Soon he will have to go to do his military service, too.
You nice! Keep going! 💜
I love your analysis of the song. Thank you.
They are all worth it in my opinion.😊
wow i really loved this. you honoured his lyrics. and rm also known as namjoon his birth name. said the most important thing he hopes people do when listening to this new album is to pay attention to the lyrics and digest the lyrics. so thank you for focusing on the lyrics and understanding the story he is trying to tell. have a good day
Hey I just want to thank you for reacting to this song of RM of BTS. I really loved your insights and interpretation. 💜
💜
Thank you for your review. Everyone thinks being a celebrity or idol is great... and it is in the process but you have to give so much of your freedom up, I think of Michael Jackson. One good thing is how open and transparent BTS is with the fans, I don't know another group that does it so well.
The girls voice reminds me of Alanis Morisette for some reason
Agree!
amazing reaction!
💜💜💜💜
Thank you for reacting to this.. I love how you break down the lyrics and had a feeling you would like the song especially since you appreciate lyrics💜💜
When free, please listen to full album too once in order...he told this was like a diary of his 20s..it is a journey!
Nice reaction Thanks
Thank you for your thoughtful reflection on the song. I appreciate it the more I revisit it. The producer, DOCSKIM, was so tired of the music industry that he planned to retire after doing one last song for RM. But this song convinced him to keep going.
헐던 천재 머리
You're the first one that I've seen who knew that he wants to be the!!! 🌻
BTS has #1on hot 100 chart with both English and Korean song for multiple times
👍👍👍
When you where saying the names of the artist who at the height of fame and dies, Amy Winehouse is also one from England..
"27 club bro not 29"
Perhaps the 18 months they are in military will be good for them like a reset?
