These two, oh my god. I'm never shutting up about them. If you haven't seen Our Flag Means Death, just do yourself a favor and watch it asap. This series is absolutely brilliant. It's so refreshing to see a lot of lgbt+ representation instead of queerbaiting. The gays here are absolutely canon and amazingly written. This couple brought me both joy and pain. I don't think I'll be able to stop thinking about them anytime soon. They're everything. I hope that at least in a small way I did them justice with my edit.

BRILLIANT. JUST BRILLIANT!! exactly the right scenes in the right places... and i love how you use that pendulum clock (? is that what it is?) for transition between scenes idk if its intentional but i think its very neat and goes so well with the song TAKE ME BACK TO THE NIGHT THEY MET :(

I think it's called a transition wipe? A way to move from one scene to another. They used it in Star Wars (1977) and I've heard it called "old-fashioned" by a few sources. But I love it 😄👍
