so I just rewatched it and wanna mention that zhu yan called zhou yichen zhījǐ and it was translated like soulmate, but its actually have much deeer meaning. zhījǐ is like mirror of your soul, its a term that carries blood, duty and devotion, as well as romance and loyalty. friendly reminder that wei wuxian called lan wanji zhījǐ zhou yichen also called zhu yan zhījǐ also mr hunter called him zhīyīn and its literally translated like 2 "whom knows the melody" and meaning of that like a person who knows a melody of your soul (you also can check out a myth story behind it)
