I love to shop at express. I have made a lot of store associates at the mall my friends. I also have had to help train/teach store employees on how to help give me the best assistance so I can have the most successful shopping experience. Since most people don't know how to communicate or work with someone who is blind, I find it very helpful to use this situation to help them learn, not only for me but for others like me who have a disability. :-)
Rachel Paquet most blind people that can not see will have special key boards. That have knotches on them. That spell out the alphabet. Same as what is on elevator buttons. To guide them. You can find those on expensive keyboards and even old keyboards that were cheap. As well as they have the voice over for comments. Where the computer will speak out the comments for you.

Can you explain how you shop online? I think I heard you ask the clerk about a clothing item you "saw online." very curious how that works. Do you just read the description of the item? Also, can you do more videos of you trying on clothes and touching the mirror telling yourself how cute the clothes look? The first time I saw you do that, I was floored! I loved how you touched the material and touched the mirror repeatedly. I loved how you felt everything with your finger eyes and stood in front of the mirror the same way we all do. It is so true what you say about your mind's eye, but as a sighted person, I take my vision for granted and don't use my mind's eye as often as you do. When I saw your video using your iPhone's accessibility option for the blind, I turned my setting on to try it out. I closed my eyes and went through the practice sessions it gives you. Suddenly, after many minutes of intense focus, I felt a sense of panic well up inside me, as if I truly had lost my sight! It was scary and I felt helpless. I opened my eyes immediately because I didn't like how that felt. Now I think about how lucky I am to have my vision all the time. When I'm living my life, I think about you and how I shouldn't take my vision for granted. This started with me just wanting you to do more dress-up videos, lol... somehow it turned into me telling you about the impact you have had on me. Thanks for that, Joy.

I worked my lab without treats and now she's passed I see how over worked and under rewarded she was bless her soul! I love them so much! Antonia is fabulous! you both are! and your so gorgeous I love how you care so much about keeping your appearance nice and your body cute and fit! you're elegant! but please for Tabitha (my Labrador) give Antonia more praise attention because you can never give enough to them!!!!! lots of love take care!!!
Thank you, I love those colors, my favorite though is red. But yes, anywhere from purples to red to plum to wine, even greens such as Forest an army green, I love. But you know what? My absolute favorite color is black! It’s my happy color LOL. As a blind individual, you can’t go wrong with black, you look classy, sophisticated, dressier, and in my own head, no matter how many descriptions others give me, black is always black, right? :-)

First of all, so happy you found my channel and have subscribed! But to answer your question, I have only been completely blind for 11 years. I realized after I lost my eyesight, I could still envision myself in the mirror every time my hand touched the mirror. It was like I popped into view in my mind. Your mind is a powerful thing, and maybe it was a true gift for me that not a lot of people are given, but I can still see everything I used to see, however I see it now in my mind instead of with my eyes. Most of the time I forget that the world sees me as Blind. Because I have learned to see so beautifully through my other senses, through my mind, and through the eyes of my heart, I don’t feel I am missing anything.
Not at all, she was curious as I would be in general when someone’s filming so close to me. I don’t like being filmed it’s an anxiety thing so maybe the lady just wanted to know what was going on 😀
