Great to have you back into star wars 😊 sesskasays you're one of my favorite reactors. This episode was PACKED with art. From painting sets, actual sets, CGI, puppetry, stop motion, perspective shots, practical effects miniature sets I loved it

I think the idea is that Boba is an older version of himself, he doesn't want to have to watch his back all the time. He's taken a lot of damage and the fighting takes more of a toll than it used to. But the transition into this new way of doing things may appear weak to some so It will be uphill for a while. Occasionally, someone may need to eat a missile and turn to dust. We'll call it the cost of doing business. But once he has his inner circle, that he can trust, it will be easy to do whatever his goal is.

Created by and directed by Jon Favreau starring Boba Fett in how he survived and escaped from the Sarlaac Pit thus making him the criminal syndicate leader along with his partner Fennic Shen as they face off the others. However being in charge is harder than initially anticipated

Excellent reaction. I do like how they're explaining things. I do like how boba will rule his new territory. Their will obviously be those who challenge him for the throne but so he needs allies. The question is where to find them.

That was a satisfying episode, with the explanation both to the sarlacc exit and how he lost the armor. I guess we'll be having at least a couple more episodes with flashbacks.
In other news: Sesska + that dress = FIRE

Avoiding trailers is a good practice. Some promotions companies give way too much away in trailers [Here, we have this awesome twist ending for this movie. Promotions company "Hey, let's put that scene in the trailer!"]
I personally felt like the young Tusken attacked the monster in the desert because if he took the prisoners out and got them killed, he better at least have tried to save them to avoid being in too much trouble. (No idea if I'm right, but that's how it felt to me)
The young one was definitely "taking credit" for killing the beast, and it looked like a lot of the others were "buying his story" Meanwhile the leader in his own way was showing Boba "I think I know what really happened out there. Have a drink, it's my way of letting you know."
I think I originally remember Ming-Na Weng from Streetfighter, which is why she seemed a little familiar when she came into Stargate Universe. So I definitely recognized her first scene in Agents of SHIELD. I can't think of anyone better to play Fennec.

Omg you're back, booked and busy we love to see the queen return. i also guessed that the attackers were either from the mayor or a rival crime syndicate but it's not clear yet!

Sesska, I know by now you've seen and reacted to the whole series, but I'll wait until I've seen your reaction to the final episode to give you my run-down (if you're interested). Suffice it to say, TBOBF has a lot of detractors, and I can't understand why. I think it's a marvelous series that brings back Boba Fett in (to me) a very satisfying way. I think its harshest critics are the usual gang of professional Star Wars haters who refuse to go find a franchise they actually enjoy, and write about that for a change. Anyway, I love your reactions in these videos, screams and all, and am looking forward to seeing more.

I believe this story with the Tuskan Raiders will justify why Boba fought so differently in The Mandalorian from the encounter with Luke Skywalker. I believe because of this experience with the Sand People he was changed and became a fiercer fighter, etc.

Really enjoyed this episode do wish it was longer maybe 50 minutes but overall it was an interesting slower start focusing more on the4 visual storytelling than heavy dialogue reminding me of Mando Season 1 Episode 2 where the first half of the episode had zero dialogue. I do hope it picks up believe there's only 6 episodes I'm excited to see what's to come.

Watching BOB shouldn't be an issue as far as "spoilers" etc are concerned. BUT! After Clone Wars, and BEFORE Bad Batch, is when you should watch Rebels. If you watch Bad Batch before Rebels, you will miss a bit, and you won't understand some of the cameos as they happen.

  • @12chapin

Mos Espa fight scene looked like it was senior citizen choreography. Too slow and the editing tried to conceal this fact. They need to step that up.
The Gamorreans must be lean teenagers. They don't look as menacing as in ROTJ. And where's their saliva around snout and mouth!
Water is the most precious commodity on Tatooine. The Tusken child would never be so careless with it.
The Sarlacc scene was far too short for such an important milestone event, and it also completely undermines the explanation given in the exceedingly excellent 3-book series, The Bounty Hunter Wars, which are a must for any Boba Fett fan. Sadly, Disney carpetbombed and relegated Expanded Universe to Legends status.
Boba Fett is far too little in control, rather easy-going and a very far cry away from the Boba Fett in the aforementioned 3 books. He's just too....nice.
The sandmonster. Thank god it wasn't CGI'ed, but we've really lost some puppeteertalent since the 1980s! It looked like a... puppet. Immersion lost.
The Tuskens. They really nailed the feel, silent culture and unspoken intentions&disposition. Excellent adherence to how most fans regard them as. Intimidating and deadly, yet strangely stoic with a strong code of conduct.

Your pretty spot on with the pros and cons. I may add the twileks are a bit too shiny. And agree Boba is a bit to mellowed out. He has always been 100% serious. I've never heard of him intentionally cracking a joke. For what he has been through he should never Crack a joke. Also the gift part at the beginning was a waste of time.
