Loving this video, I recently bought it and I was feeling bad because I thought it wasn't going to work on my a6400 since it is a full frame lens. Thank you for sharing this!
Edinburgh is so good! My favourite little detail is how the paint from the road markings bleeds in between the stonework on the roads. As always, smashing photos and brilliant commentary! (and lots of bus drivers haha)
nice work mate! i just owned a6600 and i will try the settings show on your video. i'm a just a totally novice for this. and definitely will try all your settings and techniques. you earn a subscriber by the way.
Hey mate! I haven't used that Sony camera, personally I'd recommend a Sony A6400 over the ZV-E10, as the A6400 has the option of interchangeable lenses, hope that helps 🙏
Just get the E10 if you been shooting pics from your phone.. Chances are you wont use the viewfinder much.. Its useful in bright daylight though.. But the color science is newer, you get eye autofocus in video and all the latest fix from sony at such an incredible price!! The one factor that should be your deciding factor is how serious are you going into photography or videography because the lens will be the one eating your wallet away.. Cheers
Cool post and pics, Curtis!👍 (Love the pacing.) A 50mm FF lens on the 6400 gives a field of view eq. to a 75mm. So we were seeing a modest tele effect, yes? Street pianist, sexy blond, and artist among my favs. Nice of the Ferrarri to gun his engine for you. First dog cameo? Didn’t catch the pooch’s name. Suggest future “reflections” themed POV, but keeping to mirrors and windows types (not puddles - too easy😀). Cheers!
I maybe be a bit late on this but I just started photography. Thank you soo much for all the pointers throughout all your videos and giving everyone more confidence and believing that we can always start with the APSC instead of forcing to go full frame. Anyhow, I was actually wondering from this video, are you using the FE (Full Frame 50mm) or the E (APSC 50mm)? Hope to hear from you soon!

Hi Folks. I am new to the mirrorless world and just purchased the A6400 with the 18-55 kit lens. I am newbie in photography and was wondering what lens would be best. My ideal subject would be the following 1. Taking Portrait shots where the background is blurry so my subject would stand out 2. Taking normal pics where everything is in focus 3. Would like the ability to zoom in possibly 300-400mm max zoom the camera does not have in body stabilization so the lens would need to have one. As far as brand goes, I would rather stick with Sony or Sigma. Please provide me link. I am also on a budget and just learning the camera and photography in general so not looking to spend 2k on a lens
Go for sigma lens as u said, A6400 is not full frame camera 50m will be 75 so i recommend sigma 16 and 30 f1.4 or 56m the trio everyone likes it will help u long run i have Sony 50m f1.8 a lot my subject too zoomed in when i shoot i wish had 16m or 30m prime lens to help me in the situationDon't recommend zoom lens at the start, you need to learn camera first with exposure iso and aperture. Don’t have g master cash. Is there another lens you would recommend for A7riv shooter that has the tamron 70-180mm and tokina 85mm already? My other lenses are aps-c and I want to take advantage of the 61 megapixels
Hi Curtis. Love your videos. I'd like your suggestion on a 35mm prime lens for my 6400. Apparently, to get a "real 35mm", I need to get something wide, like a 23mm or 24mm right? Or does the Sony 35mm lens work for that? I'm also not looking for something huge, because I want to use it for street and travel. I have a Sigma 16mm 1.4 which is awesome, but it's just huge to carry around. Let me know. Thanks!
Hi Curtis! Would you recommend I bu the a6400 and a few different lenses, or save a bit longer for the A7 iii and buy one main lens for now? I mainly shoot wildlife and street photography. Thank you in advance!
I'd say wait for the release or announcement of the a7iv *rumoured for announcement next month* so you might see a decrease in the a7iii price after that
@@AmalForbes I have been tempted to wait till October and see if there are any price drops in the A7iii due to the new release. My main reason for avoiding this is that I have a trip coming up that I would love this new gear for, I guess I need to stop being so impatient! Thanks :)
I like the fact that you have displayed the actual photo from the camera and then the edited version. Nice work !!!
I love when you show actual image and edited version.
You give me confidence to buy a6400. Thx
Its a great camera and i really like that sony still making new lenses for e mount aps c 😅🥰

Every photo that you so casually took is wallpaper worthy 👌🏻😄

I have watched many street photographers and your videos are by far the most interesting and fun to watch.
Another great vid!! I love the shot of that lady in the restaurant!!!!
Thank you so much! 🤙
