On my first playthrough I didn't think much of this mission with all the combat at the beginning. But after that came one of the most eery and atmospheric moments in sci-fi history. Plus the Vigil conversation was straight-up cosmic horror. The developers really knew what they were doing - finally playing the menu music in an endless big ass trench. Ok, the Mako's loud engine almost ruined the mood lol
I love this sound track. Truly incredible. BioWare could have brought the whole trilogy story back to Ilos - so many secrets, such an amazing place, with an untold stories about the final survivors of the Prothean Empire. We know they gave us a fighting chance, but not much more than that.

@@tonycmac Agree again! I loved Ilos and all the story and mystery surrounding it. So much more there!
