For technical support and troubleshooting might be best though to contact CyberPower on their website for further assistance and they have helpful guides also.
@Sleanzles I am in Thailand so the ambient temperature is quite high for a lead acid battery at over 30C, this means that the battery temperature is probably over 40C so reducing the available life span. I have had 2 sets of batteries replaced under warranty at about 11 months each. The next set will cost between 350 and 450 Baht each. FWIW you don’t need to take the front cover off to replace the batteries, just the top cover.
Sorry, I haven't tried. But I have put the UPS aside because the battery went bad again 2 weeks ago. I haven't replaced it yet with a new batteries. Maybe I'll test it out when I replace the battery next week or so.
I had mine for 4 years, after we decide to paint our house I pack everything and ups stay out of power for 3 days, I put it on again and is not opening, after 12 hours I see a liquid drop down from UPS.batteries must be changed? Should I buy new one? What do you think
I recommend you changed it sooner rather than wait for it to fail later. Last thing you want when there's a blackout or brownout is that your UPS ain't gonna work or last as expected anymore. Good thing yours lasted that long and still does its job. Power interruption might not be common on your area.
@@catyara The buzzing isn't when it is plugged in. It is buzzing when it is on Battery mode. Yeah it seems normal even on my old APC one but seems to vary per unit. My first CyberPower seem to have a louder buzz but the new replacement I got had less buzzing but still there. My new APC also one isn't that loud buzzing but it's there. 😐 Sorry can't recommend one without it, if it's too loud I suggest contact support for replacement.
@sleanzles Thank you for your reply. I just want to protect my PC from the "blackout" situation. That sound is not so loud, but my head starting hurts 😕. Maybe something else can protect 🤔 my PC when Light shut down in my house? (I needn't extra time-work on PC. I just want some safety)
If 3rd party battery will last more than 2yrs then it is. Gotta have to wait and see. Get CyberPower there's 2yr warranty anyway and battery replacements aren't that expensive. I have both APC and CyberPower UPS, they are both the same to me except APC looks more sleek and cool on my desk 😅
@@Curiouzity_Omega it's okay after 1st rma replacement. I keep changing batteries every 1-1.5 yrs. Oh well brownouts are frequent here so it's not surprising.
The size of 12v 7ah,7.2ah,8ah,8.2ah,9ah and 10ah ups batteries are standard afaik so I don't think you will get it wrong. I don't have specifics but feel free to look them up, they should be all have the same dimensions.
@@sleanzles Just curious since I'm going through CyberPower customer service. When you had this issue a few months ago, did it also drain quickly when there was no load or was it only when connected to a PC? Mine right now drains rapidly only when it's connected to a PC, but drains slowly on lighter loads.
@@kevs94 Yes it was draining but slowly without anything connected to it. But it's normal draining rapidly when connected to a PC cause it's uses lots of wattage out the UPS and not on lighter loads when on BATTERY MODE. So be sure to plug your UPS directly to the wall outlet, don't use extension cords.
yeah pretty much my experience on this. It was all original. They replaced the original one I bought with another brand new unit only for the battery to die out again after just over a year which is now way past the 2yr warranty so I had to replaced the batteries with 3rd party one this time around...
@@sleanzles that's disappointing. I'm thinking of buying this because my APC BR1500GI board just died. APC is very expensive and the UT1500E seems to be the cheapest high capacity UPS that has a management software here in my country. There is the Prolink Pro851SFCU but has much lower capacity and only 2 sockets. They don't sell the Prolink Pro1250SFCU here for some reason, only the Pro1250SFC which does not include the management software.
@@pr0jectSkyneT True but give it a shot if you don't have much option, it has 2yr warranty on it anyway. I don't mind replacing batteries but I was expecting batteries to last 3-4yrs when I bought it but I was too naive to think that. I just hope the 3rd party battery replacement will fare better than just over a year. Goodluck.

Sir, Does it charge battery when plugged to the wall, without switching the ups Off.
@@Rengakhiangte it will charge so long it's powered on.

Just checking if you've had a battery problem again since this replacement? Planning to get this model too.
Yeah, battery died again after 1yr... I replaced it recently...
@@sleanzles do you think it's the UPS itself or just bad batteries?
@@patrickastronomo I think just the batteries. It was more than a year old stock battery that I bought initially for APC.

Подскажите почему CyberPower UT2200E сильно греется и не работает вентилятор
Либо проблема с ИБП, либо он не достиг температурного порога для активации вентилятора. Лучше всего обратиться в службу поддержки CyperPower.

Hello 👋
I have a question, that "electric sound kills me" in my UPS 3:14 - 3:25
Which one ups without that awful thing?
@@catyara you mean the beep sound? Afaik all UPS comes with it. It's okay you can disable it on the app.
@sleanzles buzz / High-frequency sound, when UPS is plugged in. 🔌
