  • Learn how to replace the battery(s) in a CyberPower 1500PFCLCD (CP1500PFCLCD) UPS. Basically, it's as simple as removing two screws, sliding off apanel, removing a connector, pulling out the battery(s), and then doing it in reverse.
You have two options for sourcing the batteries:
    1) The official CyberPower branded replacement:
    * If your serial number starts with CXX: amzn.to/4ddnbRm
    * Or if it starts with CR9, CXF, or CQC: amzn.to/49QdIwb. These are typically twice as expensive as buying non-CyberPower branded batteries.
    2) Aftermarket (non-CyberPower brand) replacement: amzn.to/4dbvQUg (you need two of these, and then you reuse the tape and connectors from the original battery). Note that you basically just need two 12v 9Ah SLA (sealed lead acid) batteries, which there are many brands to choose from; I've simply had good luck using the ExpertPower EXP1290's (linked above) in the past, so I continue to use them.

Mine is completely dead. Went to power the PC and nothing, then checked connections, pressed power on the UPS, nothing, removed it from the loop plugged in the system normally and everything works. Plugged the UPS into another outlet and still nothing, unplugged, no beep, it seems to have died completely. Not even a year old and we didn't have any power events last night.

Will these batteries work for the 1350PFCLCD model? I assume the main difference is the wattage on my dead unit is lower, but will it hurt putting in the larger batteries?

the issue is that the batteries linked in the description will likely be a different phsyical size and won't fit -- the 1350PFCLCD uses 12v 7Ah batteries (per www.cyberpowersystems.com/product/ups/pfc-sinewave/cp1350pfclcd/) which have batteries that are stated to be different dimensions than that of the 1500PFCLCD official replacement batteries
