I like that quote from F. Scott Fitzgerald at 7:37.
I mainly use Moleskine notebooks in this size range for journaling. Sometimes I've used sturdy blank books made for writing or for drawing on acid-free paper. I'll have to check for the name of company that makes them. Maybe material (literal and figurative!) for a review...
Lately I've encountered the term "vegan leather" which is new to me. Would that include leather made from animals that have died of natural causes?
That's a great closing comment, Michael: "...enjoy your notebooks and enjoy your pens and writing and all the wonder that comes through that..." And I do! I've read that in some cultures where few people know how to write, writing has been or is considered a form of magic and I can see why.

Thank you Mick! I’m definitely going to be trying some of these. I do like optik paper, was considering a touch hardback but this R&b looks so much nicer

I’ve found current production Endless Regalia paper to be absolutely terrible for bleed through / ghosting / feathering, which makes me sad. If you can find one with Tomoe River, go for it. Otherwise, it’s a hard pass.

Thanks for your interesting vid Mick. My experience with the more well known brands is very similar. The Leuchtturm1917 construction wise is a peach but the blow through with fine flex nib types is a bummer. It can be a heretic when limiting writing style and FP choice 'cuz of that. Rhodia, no longer gets my premium payment before its parent. So Clairefontaine for the win every time. Most of the other brands are cost prohibitive in my locale :-(
For interim notes I make pads from loose leaf A4 cut down and bound via glued spine reinforced with gauze. That way the paper choice is convenient and ample. Also, the binding process is surprisingly fast and unfussy.

Hi Mick, I use a Recorder to funny enough record my inks and pens collection :) But bullet journaling I love the Dingbats which I like the graph grid :). Thanks for showing us some of your favourites, oh hope your doing well over in Melbourne, seeing on the news it's getting better :)
    Chelsea :)

Thank you! I'm struggling with finding good B6 size notebooks - Leuchtturm1917's quality in terms of paper has gone down, I HATED Stalogy. Could you suggest any notebooks you like in that size?

Hi, if you like Tomoe River paper I highly recommend Nanami B6. Available in amazon. But only with ruled paper 👍🏻
