A Walk Through the Rose Arbor

Take a walk through the rambling roses in Longwood’s Rose Arbor and feel the sunshine as the beauty of a thousand roses compliments a blue sky day. The pink roses create an elegant but playful filigree of blooms. The cultivar 'American Pillar' was chosen by Longwood’s founder, Pierre S. du Pont for the Rose Arbor before 1920, and is still used today.
