    My choice on picking Dewalt has proven itself true. I went off on others just for price reasons, and wanting to give other brands a chance.
    Always coming back to Dewalt. Not surprised, but extra impressed.
    That was exciting to watch. Loved your feel and performance on jobsite criteria... great review! Thanks!

    Try Makita's GSR02M1, this isn't a apple to apple comparison when you using old tech to compare to latest dewalt''s 40 V battery tech.

    Metabo is probably THE MOST over looked tools when it comes to framing all the 36 volt stuff is geared to the professional framer !!! The rear handle saw is getting reviews saying it's the greatest rear handle ever style saw ever, they have incredible cordless framing guns, they have the triple Hanmer impact driver which is arguably one of the best impact drivers pound for pound I use MILWAUKEE AND DEWALT but the new Metabo stuff is really, really formidable at an amazing value usually only being competition with brands like rigid

    Ive owned the dewalt, its a great tool. But ive gone away from Dewalt’s 20v platform on all my tools because they crap the bed as soon as it gets cold outside. Run that saw at production speed when it 5°C and you’ll only get about 10 minutes of run time on a 5Ah battery.

    • @matsudakodo

      Maybe it's time to look at battery heaters. You could probably use one of those dew heaters the telescope guys use. Just thinking out loud here...

      Fuck. I just bough a bunch of dewalt 20v stuff and I thought they were great. When winter comes around I'll be stuck using them well into the negatives.

      All the cordless tools uses exactly same internal batteries, Milwaukee, Dewalt, Makita and the rest of em even the 60v uses the same cells. So your saying Dewalt 20v doesn’t work well in the cold means every other tools doesn’t work well in the cold. Your phone any other device stored in the cold battery drains quicker when you start to use it.

    I rarely leave comments on YT…but I have a thought for future comp. vids. You might consider including what model you are comparing (I know Milwaukee has 2 7 1/4” cordless and believe Dewalt does as well). Also, what batteries you’re using. Battery choice makes a huge difference IMO. I own mostly Milwaukee (some metabo & dewalt) and have that Milw saw currently. It IS huge and heavy, cuts clean, but leaves me wanting more out of it to be honest. I might go buy the dewalt after watching it’s power here. Thanks guys.

    An endurance test that shows how hot each one got and a way to tell how much battery was used would be nice but I realize that isn't easy to do or measure. I'm curious if the Milwaukee would run cooler and last longer like the claims on the Fuel line of products say. An infrared thermometer would work to show the temperatures.

    • @THEpremieroutdoor
      @THEpremieroutdoor  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We thought about running until they died, but it would have taken forever. The heat is a good idea. We will definitely be adding some new tests for our next Power Tool Playoff though!

    • @UncleIvan1

    Fortunately I feel like the Metabo was giving a lot of dis service. I have that fuel Milwaukee and I know how powerful that thing is. So surprised I had that slow time compared to the Makita same thing with the Metabo. The Makita should have been the slowest and Metabo should have compared with the DeWalt in terms of speed the Metabo should have been in the middle. I would still prefer the Metabo after using the M18 fuel and the Makita because of its lightweight nature. So much that I actually use it's little brother the six and a half and I've gotten rid of My m18

    I have absolutely abused my Milwaukee tools over the past 45 years and they have never let me down. Makita has been a close second for me over the years but I love what Milwaukee has done with their battery platform in the past 5 years so I will probably stick with them as my choice. Dewalt has let me down to many times so it will always be at the bottom of my selection to recommend. For guys trying to decide which platform to build off of these comparisons are very helpful.
