Once, shards of evil called “Devil Splinters” were scattered across space, throwing the galaxy into chaos. At that time, Ultraman Z, a new member of the Inter Galactic Defense Force who sought out Ultraman Zero as a mentor, comes down to Earth while chasing the Ferocious Space Shark Genegarg. On Earth, the Anti-Monster Robot Force STORAGE is formed to face down the monsters that appear on a daily basis. In his first battle, Z merges with Haruki Natsukawa, a new pilot of STORAGE. Together, they rise up to protect the peace! However, behind the scenes, the parasitic lifeform Celebro has set a terrifying plot into motion…

This is the first Ultraman show I’ve actually watched all the way through. I showed up after TH-cam recommended the first run of Episode 1 and now I absolutely love Ultraman. I’m so happy Tsuburaya went through the effort of making this show and Trigger accessible to foreign fans, cause now I’m absolutely hooked

I love it so much when the three gentlemen of STORAGE, Bako-san, Captain Hebikura and Haruki fight together side by side with their badass robots, Sevenger-kun, Windom and King Joe Custom. So Badass!!! Hahaha.

I'll always have a soft spot for this show, as it helped me with my depression and mental health issues back when it first aired, and I still go back to episodes of it every once in a while, it's characters and story where compelling, it's action was gratifying, and thanks to episode 19 provided me intrigue on Ace's season and his character. I hope that Z appears more and that Tsuburaya gives these show a physical release internationally, either by giving Mill Creek the rights to it and the other Reiwa seasons, or through a different distributor. If I ever somehow have kids I want them to grow up with this show

Probably the best Ultraman series of all time, I'm just coming back here now and then just to watch this absolute masterpiece story written again😁👏
What I like in this final episode is how organic the bonds between Haruki and Juggler, there is no secret between them, there is nothing to be scared of, Its just pure a great pair, their teamwork and relationship are blooming right in the end, Its beautiful in my opinion. Also Bako-san has a Special place in my heart, Bako-san is an amazing character, his role in this series is extraordinary, makes me really love watching Ultraman Z, the story is this series is also amazing, all the episode is so entertaining and created carefully and in the end everything is perfectly done and ended up with a great ending, love this series so much

I've been watching the Ultraman Series since I was a child & I gotta agree Ultraman Z's ending was one of my absolute favorite endings to a series like Ultraman Mebius, Ultraman Cosmos, & Ultraman Nexus.

The bond between Z and Haruki makes them a force that can do anything. They went from figuring out what both of them are able to do, to they can do anything fight to the last possible second. Them fighting in his base form is proof and giving it all no matter what and be a new generation hero that people will remember years from now.

The last Ultraman i watched was Gaia. After that, i kinda left it all. Cosmos, Mebius, Orb. Didn't even watched any of that.
Then, youtube keep recommended this show last year. So I was like, "Maybe I watched it, just for old time sake." I did not really had a high hope for this show.

You should give Orb a chance Juggler originated from the movie and show worth seeing them just for his back story plus I am a fan of Gai.

This Ultra series marks the second time an alien is the captain of Earth's defense force. The first being Dan Moroboshi/Ultraseven. Juggler's character development is quite good, for former villain to an anti-hero and later side/supporting hero and character.
This Was a great Show! I enjoyed every Character in it and i Was thrilled all the Time! The Finale Was something Else and i had goosebumps, even shed a Tear at the Moment Haruki Beat Yoko and when He left....
For my First Experience With Ultraman this Was pure Awesomeness....i want him to return.....

During its first run here, this was the first full Ultraman series I've watched, besides Max and 80 that ran at the same time. I kinda feel I have seen some of the best from each era XD

I've probably rewatched the entire show 4 or 5 times, and without fail the finale brings those good tears to my eyes. It might just be the bias of this being my first full Ultra series, but damn, it very well might be the best of all time, like holy shit.

This brings an end to the rebroadcast of Ultraman Z. Of course I didn't watch the rerun of the series despite it being align with the events of Absolute Conspiracy because I've already watched the entire show and know everything that happens. What I want to know is what will be on saturdays now that Ultraman Z has ended? More specifically how will the plague of the Devil Splinters be handled from now on and I am wanting to see how the main Ultraverse is going to be handled from now on since the main universe is in the era of ADB (After the Death of Belial). With Belial and Tregear gone low lives from across the universe is rising up to profit off of Belial's death or simply gaining power through the Devil Splinter Outbreak or taking over worlds since the Ultras are now scattered.
Well we are definitely going to see more shenanigans from Z, Haruki, and Beliarok as they travel the universe and I can see STORAGE living up to them creating a space robot. Possibly an Ultroid Z? If I'm really being honest however, we are going to be seeing a continuation of Absolute Conspiracy because Tartarus is definitely getting ready for something big even if he has lost the means to create an army with the loss of Zett. For now we'll enjoy watching Ultraman Trigger but I'll be preparing to see more of the main Ultraverse in the era of ADB. Because the era of ADB is already starting chaotic so it's gonna be exciting.
I'm pretty sure OG Ultraman will take over the upload spot. We already have the first 2 episodes.
And if _Sevenger Fight_ is any indication - and my deduction of clips from the stage shows is correct - then the space-capable robot is none other than an upgraded Sevenger.
@@EvilDoresh A Chou Sevenger (a total word play to Chou Mazinger). I mean that robot has almost always saved the day when it counts or at least did something and there was almost never useless in any of its' fights against kaijus. That robot is never going into retirement since it's practically the face of STORAGE. A Chou Sevenger is possible too thanks to over technology developed during Ultroid Zero's construction and they have learned to utilize Pedanium during their time working on King Joe's reconstitution.
I actually just finished Z for the first time and I'm looking for another series to watch. Should I watch The Absolute Conspiracy? I'm interested in Zero, being Z's teacher.

Well my thoughts on Ultraman Z: Way better than I expected. A better show than Taiga if I’m going to be honest.
When I first saw reveals of Z, I looked at it with a negative sight. A show staring the pupil of Ultraman Zero, an already abused ultra, reusing fusions, I wasn’t nice on it.
Then the show aired, and while I did have some flaws, I was honestly impressed with the show for not fitting my negative expectations. If you look past the concept and fusion gimmick, this feels like an Ultraman series.
Now, time to get into more depth with my thoughts.
Warning: The following review is LONG (And maybe poorly worded). I mean multiple paragraphs worth of words. If you don’t want to die from boredom, now is your chance to leave. Also, this is completely opinion based. My words on the show should not sway you against your personal thoughts. If you really love Z or absolutely despise it, that’s perfectly fine. I’m just going to share my personal thoughts and that’s it. Also, for those that haven’t watched the full series, THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS. You have all been warned.
I guess I will start off with the flaws.
My flaws: The Devil’s Splinters, Zero and Geed’s involvement, the villains, some of the writing with Hebikura, the ultra and human host dynamic, and sure, the fusion theme.
From the premiere of the show, the Devil Splinters were promoted as the key plot point of the show, and guess what they did with it, introduced the point in ep 2, actually does something with them in eps 6-7, and that’s it. Not that I cared too much about it, but you can’t just promote a certain key point only to never exploit it.
Zero. Remember Taro’s involvement in the Taiga series? Taro was barely used at all in the series, only appearing in ep 1, 13 (for almost no reason), and 16. Well, the same problem applies with Zero. I most of the time do not like Zero’s constant appearances in the newer media not just because they are repetitive, but it has no major effect towards the main characters and overall feels like he has no purpose in those appearances. For a show that features ZERO’s pupil as the main protagonist, I would think that Zero would have a greater effect on the story, but he does nothing aside for appearing in ep 7. I get that this was saved for the voice dramas, but still, if Zero is going to appear, make Zero of greater use towards the story or don’t bother promoting him at all.
Geed. Honestly, he doesn’t really affect me as much as Zero, but I sometimes do question why he has to appear. Now, I will say that using him for creating the Belial Medal was a good form of adding him into the plot, but that’s really it. I honestly felt like Geed could have had a bigger impact on the story, but aside from the creation of the Belial Medal, Delta Rise Claw, and the Beliarok, he holds no other reason to appear.
Celebro. He really could have been an interesting villain, but he is ruined. While he nails the creepy astatic, he fails to really drive the story, only doing so around the Geed arc and finale arc. For someone that holds the position as the main villain, he rarely does anything with the plot of the series.
Hebikura. While his revelation as Jugglus Juggler was very surprising for me, some the writing with his character didn’t feel right for me. For one thing, he sometimes didn’t feel close towards the rest of the Storage members. I wished his and Haruki’s relationship were to be further expanded on. And this is just me, but I also wished that he would have utilized the Dark Z Riser to a greater use, maybe doing more transformations, but that’s rather a petty opinion.
The ultra and human dynamic. While I didn’t like Taiga, one thing I was surprised about with the show was Hiroyuki’s dynamic with Taiga. By that, it’s kind of like how both ultras were gaining something from each other through their journey. While Haruki and Z’s dynamic isn’t bad at all, it feels as if Z himself doesn’t gain as much development as Haruki.
The fusions. I can agree that the fusion gimmick is overused and not as fresh anymore. However, I see that aspect as more of a minor issue. The fusions don’t really affect any of the watching experience for me personally, plus, it rather makes me excited for the different combinations, but I can see why people don’t really like it and even for me, it does feel pretty redundant.
And the conclusion of Z. While I thought it was good enough, I also felt like some areas didn’t sit right with me. What I mean by this is while Destrodos against Storage was nice, the sudden reappearance of Z after the conclusion of the previous episode just felt unexpected (not in a good way) for me. And the Beliarok, it was neat having it sacrificing itself, but what’s the point if the cannon regenerates anyways. Just for it to reappear in the credits? I don’t get it.
So, from what I remember, that’s all the personal flaws I had with Z, but now I will move onto what I like.
Overall, while the story isn’t the best, the whole time I was watching the episode, I felt very engaged in a lot of these episodes and the stories within them are rather good. Some of the stories here also had a pretty serious feel to them that I really liked. The arc where Haruki struggled with the trauma of killing Red King had a deep, but good story and had a good conclusion and the disbandment of Storage was rather a significant turn in the story as well. It sucked that Storage was disbanded, but it did lead into a series of events that were all essential to the climax and conclusion. The ending, while feeling a little bit underwhelming in some parts, was also really suspenseful due to the build up. From the creation of a dangerous weapon to terranoid 2.0, it gives me am this exciting feeling to find out the next part of the story. Also, while the final battle could have been better, the result areas not bad. I loved how Z finished off Destrodos in his original form. It really does show the growth both Haruki and Z faced during the show. The conflicts that the main characters struggle with too also hold quite a meaning to them due to how much they are affected by them. The story does have holes in it, but it’s at a level in which I am moved by it.
Haruki Natsukawa. He is honestly a great host, and I consider him better than the previous main character, Hiroyuki Kudo. His backstory feels a whole lot more impactful (his father, who is a firefighter, died trying to protect people against a Kaiju) and that naive side of him can make for very great interactions with the other members of Storage. When he gets faced with a conflict, it really shows the struggle and weak points Haruki must endure, making the conclusion of the conflict really good. He was honestly more enjoyable than Hiroyuki.
Storage. Finally we got a defense team. After having a rather underwhelming team in Geed, nothing in R/B, and mediocrity in Taiga, we finally have an established defense team, and it performs way better than the previous series. While I wished that they returned to the classic styled fighter jets, the robots are still an interesting asset. Yoko is a fine character. The classic ace pilot and senior. Her relationship with Haruki is nice because of the senior and junior dynamic between them. Her crush on Z is also fun, like when she becomes affectionate over Z’s age (ep 2) and the dance fight with Z (ep 7). Yuka is interesting. Her obsession with monsters and dissection is creepy, but makes her funny and interesting. The scene where she says she wanted to dissect Juggler always makes me laugh (ep 10). Inaba Kojiro (Bako) is always fun to watch. That old man vibe he has feels very nice when interacting with other young members plus how badass he can be, fighting an alien and catching a giant tuna, he’s just awesome. While definitely not the perfect defense team (Showa and Heisei teams provided a whole lot more), Storage is a good try and I find them to be a nice treat to the series.
Hebikura. While the flaws stated above do affect my view on this character, I nevertheless found him to be enjoyable. Back in Orb, Jugglus Juggler is my favorite New Generation villain, and here, he’s still good. What I really love about Juggler is how mysterious he is. His true intentions up until now we’re always unclear. Every time he made a move, it’s always suspenseful. When Hebikura is in his majin form, the scenes that do have him feel exciting either because Juggler does something unsettling or mysterious. Also, I loved how much we see Juggler having been developed from this insane and selfish fein into a unbearable, yet sensible and caring anti-hero ever since the days of Orb such as how he values the safety of his crew mates and when he chooses to safe Haruki over stealing Ultroid Zero and completing his objective.
Now for the ultra: Ultraman Z
His design is honestly not the best. They could have removed some of the red and black markings on his original form as it feels somewhat jarring personally. Alpha Edge is my favorite form design-wise. It serves its purpose as a enhanced combat form, plus the quick paced fighting style and martial arts in the form looks very cool. Beta Smash is a nice form as well. I’m not a fan of his design but I like the wrestling style fighting and the macho attitude Z has while in the form. It’s good, but not as good as the other forms. Gamma Future is my favorite form power-wise. While I’m not a big fan of Gamma Future’s design, the attacks that the form use, especially Gamma Illusion, are so cool. Delta Rise Claw is probably my least favorite form, which is ironic being this is Z’s most powerful fusion. While it serves its purpose as a very powerful form, the overall look as well as the powers it displays don’t really offer too much. The gold isn’t bad on Z, but the mix of the red and blue with the gold and silver marks just doesn’t work well more me personally. Overall, the ascetics of Z aren’t really my favorite as previous New Generation Ultras had better ascetics. The Beliarok, while looking absolutely ridiculous, is actually pretty funny. I do like how the sword has sentience and makes things rough for others that want to wield him. And real quick with Geed, the Galaxy Rising form is not bad, but not great either. The blue armor actually works with Geed, but feels weird for some reason, as if he never really needed the form to begin with. However, I think the fighting style of Galaxy Rising looks better than Geed’s other forms.
The action in Z was amazing. The fight scenes keep on improving and with Z, it really shows. Some of the shots and angles that they utilize for the fights look very amazing. The Alpha Edge fights are usually my favorite because of the quick pacing it has compared to the other forms.
The music and soundtrack. I personally think Taiga had a better soundtrack overall than Z, but nevertheless, it had some great pieces such as the Alpha Edge theme, the remix of Juggler’s theme, and the other sounds in the regular human sequences which all fit in with the situation. Opening theme, I honestly thought Takuma Terashima’s “Buddy, Steady, Go” was better than “Chant my name” but it wasn’t bad either. I mean, who can go wrong with Madaki Endo. Now the ending theme. “Connect the Truth” I thought was a pretty good ending theme, better than Taiga’s ending themes in my opinion. It still doesn’t hold up to all the other Heisei ending themes, but for what it was, I was satisfied, and that’s when the second ending came in. Wow, my mind was blown beyond repair as I never expected such an amazing song. “Promise for the Future” is an excellent ending theme. It vastly out ranks any of the New Generation ending themes as the best one. While some songs like “Shine Your Orb” or “Kibou no Kakera” (Which are nice), go for a slow paced and relaxed feel, “Promise for the Future” breaks that norm and goes for a high tense, action-based, and enthusiastic feeling that just drives it over to a whole new level. While I probably still prefer songs like “Kimi Dake Wo Mamoritai”, “Promise for the Future” is easily one of my favorite ending themes of all time.
Overall, I really enjoyed Ultraman Z. I think it does a lot of things better than the previous series and while I did have problems with how certain story elements and characters were written, the overall viewing experience I had was good.
One final message. Rest in peace Kota Fukihara. I may have not known you all that well, but your contribution towards the show was never in vain. Even if it wasn’t complete thank you for putting your best effort during your final moments. May God look after your soul and may the memories you made on Earth be remembered for eternity.
Pretty sure using beliarok to destroy the cannon is to weaken it. They've destroyed it 2 times and every time the D4 laser does less damage

Plotholes: there are many times when Haruki gets knocked down and the medals end in the ground, just for him to wake up in a hospital having all of the medals, yet we never know how does he have them again and why no one saw them in the ground when we know they are visible to normal people.
Or those times when they literally never ask themselves "oh no Haruki was defeated let's ask if he is okay, oh no let's not do that because ultraman came" like, your teammate is in danger but you won't even ask if he is alive?
The fact that I ship an alien (juggler) and human (Yuka) is the right thing 😭😭😭
I've stopped watching Ultraman shows after R\B. I've watched Trigger because of nostalgia, I didn't think Z is way better. In the end, I've never felt this same satisfaction after watching Ultraman show ever since Nexus ended. Ultraman Z is truly a masterpiece after all.

Ultraman z series got the best actor and plot after nexus and tiga. Top 2 best ultra series in my list after nexus. Not to childish, the comedy doesn't make me cringe but rather made me laugh and i really enjoy the fight scene and every actor did a good job for every character in this series. Definitely worth your time to watch. Ultraman z will always be in my memories.

It even ends the same way, the girl (Chihiro / Yohko) using her right hand to grab the guy's (Haruki / Haku) left. Then they fly before hitting the ground
The real New Generation Dyna is Ultraman Z (as a show): Yoko = Ryo (strong lady, ace pilot, older with femininity, love interest & they both confess to Asuka / Haruki indirectly for wanting a man who is stronger than them or to start a family)
Yuka = Mai (young and pretty, playful), Juggler = Hibiki (These two are probably the most memorable captains among all defense teams in Ultra Series), Asuka = Haruki (hot blooded, left the earth, leaving their loves behind)
Terranoid --> Zeluganloid = Ultroid Zero --> Destrudos
Dyna and Z (and later Decker) used the most basic finisher in base form + screaming to deliver a much stronger Solgent Beam / Zestium Beam.
