Before I put my receiver in the foam I use a finger of a latex or nitrile glove or balloon and a small amount of silicone grease on the wires then tied off with a rubber band also battery power connections and switch are greased with silicone dielectric
Thank you sir. This was a bit to much rear brake for the circumstances. I normally i have a balloon on the part of the radio tray where the reciever is, but i had none left in my pit trolley. Battery compartment is usely fine, but thanks for the tips. Gonna get some silicone grease for the wires . Better safe then sorry👍👊
Nice vid! What plugs do you use on fx engines? I saw fx turbo glowplugs are really CHEAP! So im wondering if i can use those on my os and reds engines...
Thank you. I'm running those FX plugs in every engine. The same as T or P plugs. I recently found them cheap aswell, so ordered a lot of them. X3 for 25%, nitrofuel , X4 for 16% and X6 for 12%
Awsome! Sounds like it will idle for ever! Im amazed with the fuel mielage! Im more in the 9.5 min range and not going as hard on the trhottle as you go..The track was really wet youll need a snorkel 😆

Awesome. The 303 it’s an excellent engine! 👍Can you tell me if your 303 also came with extra head shims for further tuning? I’m using 16% by weight but I don’t have one in my package. FX customer support doesn’t seem to care to reply my emails and all stores I usually order from are out of stock.
@@leandrodomingues50 Yes it is. My 303 didn't come with extra shims either. The 303L does come with extra shims. For 16% by weight you need to replace the 0,15 with a 0,10.(655901). Don't know where you live, maybe I can send you one in a postcard if you really need it now. So if you have the 303 and the 303L, you can use the crank from the 303L in your 303. That's what I did. In that way you keep a brandnew engine for parts if you ever need that.
O yeah, simply lovely 👌 Think all the os based stuff is made by os. There are stories of companies buying the old OS molds and making parts like that, but I doubt that.
4 tires that i run in dry conditions ( Schumacher mini pin yellow) are € 32,- , inserts and wheel € 20,-. € 52,- isn't cheap, but these tires last pretty long. Sertainly much longer than clay tires as the compound is pretty hard.

Hey, klopt het dat FX nu standaard de juiste shim stack meelevert voor zowel 25% als 16EU fuel? Indien ja, kan je mij eens zeggen wat men aanbeveelt voor de 16EU? In mijn 303 zat 0.35 maar wij reden tot nu toe altijd met 25% in België/Frankrijk en moeten nu pas omschakelen... Bedankt.
Hoi Fearo, ja, dat klopt. Bij de 303 zaten geen extra shims maar bij de 303L wel. De standaard shim stack is inderdaad 0,35. Dit is voor 16-25%. Voor 16%EU is dit 0,30. Je zult dus een, 0,15 shim moeten vervangen voor een 0,10 shim.(655901) Dit staat in de beschrijving van de 303L .Je zult ook naar een koudere gloeiplug moeten gaan. Ik gebruik zelf de X4 voor 16%, dan loopt de motor mooier. X3 gebruik ik dus niet meer. Ik heb zelf nog niet met de 16%EU in de FX motoren gereden.

Are eighth scale carpet tires cheaper than dirt tires because there is no way I would ever be able to afford to race on that track on a regular basis

how does that xray kit assemble?
Any xray kit assembles really good. Exact fitment and things are very tight.
