LAE’s Step-Lap cutting lines represent the leading-edge technology for producing stacked core transformers for a power range from approximately 50 kVA to 40 MVA.
The electronic actuation and a proprietary algorithm make them highly productive, and the set-up flexibility allows them to adapt to every need. Lines can be supplied with manual or automatic stackers or our innovative robotic stacking system.
In this video, you can see the line stacker that is provided with four motorized carriages for a dimension of about 3.5m x 1.5m each. This stacker collects the laminations two by two on the central axle of the line, moving transversally and automatically to stack side by side different logs of cores. The stacker collects the laminations with a regular distribution of the lamination thickness on the columns. The lamination width can vary from 40 to 450 mm, and the length on the central axle can vary from 450 to 2500 mm
