A few questions that I have noticed that nobody is asking Taron is which scene was the hardest to in mindset to shoot? And was there a part of the story line or a scene that made him gasp in shock, disbelief, or sorrow knowing that Elton John actually experienced it? It could be either an exciting moment or a terrible one.
Finally an interviewer that understands the celebrities he interviews don’t want to be asked the same, boring questions. They want to feel relaxed and be asked interesting questions. Ali Plumb has got to be the best interviewer ever!! 👏👏👏
I always love this interviewer. Everyone always seems comfortable with him, & he establishes a good back & forth without it seeming forced or uncomfortable like some others I’ve seen

in my opinion, they found the right guy to play Elton John's role, besides, Taron is a good actor and he's not going to disappoint anybody, i'm dying to watch Rocketman
I saw it yesterday. It's definitely 100% absolutely worth seeing. Taron is brilliant as Elton. You'll have Elton's songs in your head for days after too.
I love the part where he's zonked out and then they put a bat in his hand and he forces a huge smile as he walks on stage. It's very telling of the kind of mask one wears as an entertainer vs. behind closed doors, and I really feel for him in that scene.
In real life he was in the hospital having his stomachs pumped after taking an overdose on pills 2 days before that performance. You'd never have any idea watching the video of Elton from that day. He seemed so happy and full of life. Obviously hes very good at his job and putting on an act.
This film makes you laugh cry and want to give Elton a big big hug, no wounder her cried watching this movie. Its a miracle he's still with us and I hope he realises he's a National treasure!
This film is spectacular...Taron put 1000% of his mind, body & soul into it. He is gorgeous & gifted, and the heat coming off the screen is enough to power a small country! The music, the acting, the clothes, the pain, the joy, the suffering...what a movie. He will deserve all of the accolades he's bound to receive. I did not want it to end!
Totally agree. I saw it yesterday and it's absolutely fantastic. Definitely deserves all the awards it's bound to be nominated for and Taron definitely deserves every award and accolade he'll get. I can't wait to see this film again. It's bound to be a bit on TV too.
Both Ali and Graham are sooooo much better at interviewing celebrities than the idiots who do it in America. Both of these gentlemen have pretty decent followings in the states:)
Taron seems so absolutely lovely. You can really tell how appreciative he is of the opportunity he was given, and how big of a success this film was. He’s so humble and genuine, and he’s able to laugh at all of the awkward stuff. Speaking of awkward stuff, I love how he talks about the sex scene with Richard Madden. There’s no hesitation when it’s brought up. He’s so proud to have been a part of that scene, and so is Richard. It’s a big step for cinema. Rocketman is definitely one of my favourite movies ever. I really hope it gets recognition at the Academy Awards.

Ali Plumb you never fail have the greatest interviews, even with stars who have been doing lengthy press junkets repeating the same pitch for the film, you always have the best questions and attention to detail getting the most out of them when you sit down with them. 👌
I gotta say, having followed Taron’s career the past several years, it’s not just obvious at this stage he’s truly destined for longevity and great things ahead, but he also seems like a lovely, amiable, down-to-Earth guy. A rare trait in this day and age. 💎
I’m very proud of my four year old self because there’s a picture of me at that age where I’m wearing heart shaped sunglasses with hair the same length and shade as early 70’s Elton. I didn’t even know who he was then. I was just iconic.
I saw Elton in a private showing at a small venue several years back. He wore an orangey pink suit. I sat through the set and fought back tears the entire show. He is simply the best and his music was the soundtrack of my childhood.
I absolutely love this interviewer he also makes everyone feel comfortable and has actual original questions. You can tell that him and taron just hitting it off n its not awkward
You know it's a musical? I was hyped for it until I found that out. I can't bring myself to watch a musical. It's like trying to watch Jeremy Kyle or Piers Morgan.
@@veemacks7255 Musical or not, I can't wait to see "Rocketman". I love musicals but it'll be better than a musical .... it's about Sir Elton John!!!!!!!!

Bohemian Rapsody was a better film and if you don't think Rocketman stretched the truth and made things up you are an ignorant fool lmao. Such a dumbass! !
I think comparing the two films is a but unfair because they're totally different films with just the same base genre. _Bohemian Rhapsody_ is a biopic, yes, but it's a film about the music. _Rocketman_ on the other hand fits the classification of a musical mixed with a biopic. The approaches are totally different from each other, so is the editing style and directing. They are both great films but comparing them to each other isn't right. That's like comparing _Deadpool_ to _Shazam_ or _Harry Potter_ to _Magisterium_. They may have a similar genre placing but they take totally different approaches and need to be viewed very differently from each other.
The denim jacket was my favourite item from the film as well. I enjoyed finding out at the end that that jacket was a replica of an actual 70s outfit. I'm glad to know that Taron felt a sense of attachment to that jacket too. Maybe, someone will put similar jackets in the shops. Now, that would be a good idea!
I love how he said Benny and the Jets was the most challenging song to learn but I absolutely love it, I don’t know why but he makes that song sooo sexy 😂😍😍❤️
Taron Egerton was simply marvelous in Rocketman. I really appreciate the work to become a copy of my favorite hero, Elton John. I will be watching Taron for upcoming movies and will make sure to go back and catch The Kingsman movies again.
