i'm a little late to the party here but these are fantastic. i have the n scale version and love them - looks like ScaleTrains nailed it in HO too. i thought the sticker thing was a little weird - but honestly i didn't terribly mind it because it crossed the line from being ready-to-run to being a model for assembly. maybe that's silly but i felt like i helped having to put it together like everything else we buy LMFAO!
I don’t recall the exact total but I pre-ordered them all from Scaletrains directly so I payed whatever the base price was. Pricey….yes! But well worth it for the level of detail.

I could definitely use more room! For now I'll make do with the space I have although I am running out of room under the layout for car storage lol

I've never seen a wrapped coil in a coil-car before, I would've painted the coil black metal color.
I have seen a handful of photos of coils that were wrapped but not very many. It seems to be more of a specialty thing.
