    Whats up Shane Fazen on behalf of everyone in the martial arts community i want to sincerely thank you for what you do. i have completed 5 years of krav maga 2 years of muay thai and 3 year of competitive wrestling, and seeing all these other people on youtube making bulshido videos makes me sick. they dont seem to understand that people can be seriously hurt by listening to what they say. such as jake mace and his "combat taichi" so i want to thank you for actually helping people you are an inspiration that we should all fallow.

There was an issue that I had with one of my orders, I emailed, and when Marie was finally able to return my message she first apologized for the delay in response and then helped me with my order, and gave me the information I needed. That is top notch customer service, and much appreciated. Now all I need is the boxing gloves if they get back in stock, and I will have the complete Fightips gear collection. Thank you again.

    • @sephy980

      Not shane...but training on your own will be better than not training at all, however to really benefit you need a partner to spar with. Without a partner you won't get that sense of timing and distance. Or feel comfortable when an aggressor is attacking you.

    Hey Shane + viewers, I'm drunk, has Shane covered how to pass the guard (where the legs trap you in) after a takedown? I've thought a thousand times about getting past someone's feet in a street fight, are there true techniques especially for a smaller fighter? Can you throw haymakers from closed guard effectively to nullify it? Thanks for all advice, I watch your good shit literally every day

    • @WoodApe100
      @WoodApe100 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sylveon There are different guards and passing guards is a very technical subject. General rule of thumb is to avoid going into a closed guard in the first place..because any skilled BJJ guy can do a lot to you if you go into their closed guard. If the guard is open then it is better to be standing and try to pass by controlling the legs and drop your weight down on their torso as soon as you pass. The reality is though that without BJJ experience your chances of fully passing their guard is slim and there is a good chance that they might recover their guard, sweep you, or catch you in a fight ending submission. People new to BJJ are almost always frustrated how to deal with passing a guard. Punching down from inside a closed guard is dangerous. Because the legs are wrapped around your waist and the guy on the bottom can control your posture with those legs. When you load up to try to punch it is difficult to generate power and every risk of being off balanced or having one of your arms trapped and getting armbarred. It happens all the time to new guys.

    I was accused of sexual assault after I got this guy in mount! Once this guy mounted me and I just reached up to claw out his eyes and he screamed and hopped right off me. All MMA is is is it the is it is it is. Filipino groundfighting is the science of eye gouging and biting.
    Bruce Lee's favorite technique was the finger jab to the eyes. I am not a big Bruce Lee fan as he was into being in superior condition to win! Bruce Lee's style is based on a concept from Wu style tai chi, which is one of the styles he brought to the table.
    I have attempted to take a piece from every known martial art! I have literally studied every style known commonly. There are a lot of obscure styles and family styles and otherwise unavailable styles. I specialize in silat, escrima, tai chi and bagua. I consider myself a mixed martial artist!
    If I don't want to gouge eyes I can attack pressure points with my grip!!!!!! Another method illegal in MMA. Peace. Mike.
