I love Wet N Wild. We are going Tomorrow and the slides and everything are amazing. I’m from Virginia but i come to Greensboro Nc every weekend. I personally love Wet N Wild.
I love it too. I used to look forward going to it all the time as a kid back when I lived in NC. It felt really good to be back in this video. I was so upset when they closed wet n wild orlando a few years after I moved down here to Florida.
Worked there for 3 years, early 2019 pre-season was when i started. If you want to know anything else about the park, perhaps for a future video on the place let me know. *subbed*
Oh wow thats cool. I love this park. I do plan on doing a review on it sometime next year and when I do ill definitely reach out. Welcome to the channel!
@@myjem2 A few things, You can sit on the egde of the wave pool. Don't have to go in deep water, just sit in a few inches of water and let the wave splash you a lil. Dragons Den, Riptide racer, Bombs away which is brand new this year, Daredevil Drop and Twin Twister. There's Lazy river if you don't mind stepping into water to get onto a tube.
@@MrBucketlist That's because they were lol, in the back of the wave pool there are sections, each section would have a machine to push water through which makes the wave. One on each end have been concreted and welded shut, and the next two on the end have no machine on them. So only 3 machines create the waves, so it has been incredibly downgraded overtime. If we wanted to, with all sections used, we could make the wave go up to the top of the wall.
The have the picnic tables on the outside of the park but I can't remember if they have grills beside them. I would think not just because of the liability.

@@MrBucketlist why did they close the Orlando one?
They closed it and used the space for a hotel and also because they opened volcano bay

What’s the name of those water shoes you have?
I'm not sure. I bought them on Amazon for 20 bucks.
@@MrBucketlist ok thanks. are you allowed water shoes on every ride?
No problem. Only the tube rides and the pools/lazy river. Not the body slides

Wow.... so it actually makes WAVES?! I wasn't expecting that..LOL I screamed a little for you..

I figured something was up. I just remembered as a kid watching mountains of water with people in them lol.
Are there any grills
