So if any of you want to try, this is Gabi's workout. Easily one of the hardest physical challenges I've ever done, and it makes you respect the pros' grind even more. Try it on your own and let me know how it goes for you! Morning Mobility and Yoga: - 20 mins stretching focusing on hip mobility, legs and shoulders - 20 mins of yoga to get your mind set for the day - 20 mins dynamic warmup to get loose before morning run Running: 2 mins sprint, 60 second rest x 10 ~ 30 mins total Warmup (20 mins): - Lateral movement with tennis ball and reaction ball - Shadow swings - Fast feet into sprint - Reaction ball catch - shoulder stretch with bands - ball toss 1st tennis workout: (90 mins) - Cardio/endurance focus - ground strokes and patterns Off court fitness (Circuit Training - 60 mins): - Goblet Squats - Lunges - Pushups - Tricep Dips - Clap Pushup (to failure) - Hip Rotations from Plank Position - Spider Crunch (obliques) - Fast feet or some explosiveness exercise 5 Circuits Total Warmup (20 mins): - Lateral movement with tennis ball and reaction ball - Shadow swings - Fast feet into sprint - Reaction ball catch - shoulder stretch with bands - ball toss 2nd tennis workout (90 mins): - Tactical focus - Serve +1 practice - Volleys - Technique Make sure to stretch and cool down after!
You did a great job! It takes a lot of guts putting your body through strenuous training. Very few will know physical training beyond the point of exhaustion. Also give yourself positive affirmations. All the best! PS: 🤘
Noah and Gabriella, thanks for sharing the inside view of training! It definitely looked brutal, although entertaining too. I imagine if you did this routine every week, you’d eventually get it.
In future it would be nice to Introduce the people in the video :) I was watching this for almost 10min thinking who is she... *Gabriela Knutson* *Czech Republic* *WTA Rank 228* (2024)
... I mean get your muscles warmed up, do some squats and some light shuttle runs and assorted shuffles and arm warm ups. but playing the tennis at 100% is really the workout for tennis lol. how to warm up for serve?, stretch the arm do some slow serves.. I guess if you only get the court for 1 hour you will have to get to other fitness shenanigans.
After watching this video it says to me that Noah and many of us should be in significantly better shape which will do wonders for our game. Noah gave great effort but given his current level of conditioning he was really dropped into the deep end with Gabi's workout.
You're so right... hardest thing about coming back after not playing for a few years is getting the timing back. I've been working with my coach on this!
@@Courtside_TennisGetting back to playing tennis well, after you've stopped for a few years or months, is tough. You still have all the shots in your mind but your body has forgotten everything! 😂😂😂
In all fairness you simply aren't in tennis shape. If you were an avid player you would weigh 10 lbs. less than what you are in my estimation. You look to be 185/190lbs. and in good shape just not tennis shape!
Thank you for the support everyone! This video was so much fun to make and Noah was such a good sport. 💪🏻

Appreciate the breakdown. For the off court fitness is there any direction in terms of how many reps/set per exercise?
*Don’t try this at home* type of workout
@@kennethshihdepends what you can handle 😅
@@gabrielaknutson1813 Was fun get a sneak peek into your training regime. Wishing you the best as you rise up the ranks of the WTA 💪🏼
I'm waiting for your "it's time to talk about Jack Draper" video.
Very good job! Also this video was a nice breath of fresh air. Keep it up, your dedication is contagious
More to come, I’ve been training for the past few months since we shot this!
@Courtside_Tennis Cannot wait! Next one will surely be even better
@@Courtside_TennisDid you do this same training these past months or a less exhausting version? Would be cool to see some progress.
Guys, we drink a shot every time our man says "Cooked".
A shot of Suckerpunch? 😉
Yes!
You did a great job!

Great content man! You really put yourself on the line for this!!!!
Noah probably had the best night’s sleep ever after that day 😄
Awesome video and such a fun change from your usual great and informative content 🔥
Oh I did for real 😂
Great video. Super original and entertaining.
Gabby is a star!
🥰
Why were u late??!!
Never be late son. That’s the grownup world.
Very nicely done! Do you have a link that I could see the workout you guys did? Not that I’d be able to do it any better of course…
That was impressive.
So much drama, but i fully share the feelings about such challenging sessions! Great effort!
Now you know why so many men want to play woman’s sport as transgenders. Can you imagine man sports intensity at pro level 🤣?
This is a great video! Keep it up man!
Thanks man!
Brother was cooked, scorched and fried all in one video. Good job on this, sir. Great video.
😅😅😅
Great video! Both yourself and Gaby were top notch.
Thanks so much!
Thanks! 😊
Love this type of video!

To do all that leg work and not split step is criminal
nice video bro, hope to see more of this
More to come!

For sure, gives you that much more insight and respect on what the pros go through each day
Yeah, this checks out.
14:15 Did he just try to quote Dave Potnoy?
I want to take lessons from her. So she can work me out !!
Ummm…that wasn’t a jumping jack.
That was something else.
In a lot of balls you are hitting the ball lately. If you're tired, needs to be prepared early

While I admire you for doing this, it seems unwise to push yourself as a pro player does. How long did it take you to recover from that session?
Haha thanks for the concern! I was pretty sore for about a day after, but was good to go after that
go Longhorns!
Hey will there be a coco video soon?
Wow wee 😰

So true, good general conditioning is so different than being in tennis shape. I’ve been working out for tennis for the past few months though!
