@@kosterix123 Let me see if I've got this: I shouldn't have an opinion about the quality of a product without also creating said product? Even if it's complimentary? (While I have shared some live videos shot for personal interest, some of it digitized from old VHS tapes, I have never set out to produce content for a specific audience. I.E., I am not a "content creator." If I ever do something like a board game tutorial, I should hope, at the very least, it holds up to the quality of Vidhammer's offering above.)
Great video, thanks! My only question that is not clear in any video I’ve seen is, what is the point of buying double the amount of resources a power plant can hold if you can’t use all of them. (If I need 2 coal to buy a city, and I can store 4, but I can only use the two, and not use the other 2 to power another city- why would I want to waste money on 4? I don’t get that part.) I’d appreciate some clarity on this rule.
Ah! I will try my best to explain in text. The price to buy the resources fluctuates each round due to a couple of factors. Also, your place in line to buy resources also might change. If you get to buy resources early in one round, you might be able to get 4 resources at a low cost. If you build before the next turn, you might have to buy resources after everyone else in the next round so their cost will be much higher. So being able to store extra resources means you can buy extra when you can get them cheap. That way you don't have to buy them when the price goes up. I hope that clears things up a little.
Vidhammer Oh! So if I bought the 4 coal cheap on the power plant that uses 2 to power a city, I can only use two this turn, but I can still use the other 2 to power the city again next turn? And once I’ve spent two, I can buy 2 more next turn (if the price is right) to bring the supply back up to 4?
The rulebook actually defines those terms and I tried to use that terminology in the explanation. I might have made errors though. It was along time ago. Trying to get everything right when it is just myself doing it all is hard. Ultimately why I stopped making them.
I can't overemphasize the value of a well-scripted video with good vocal audio. This video succeeds at both factors.

@Eluc: And how many videos did you post this way?
@@kosterix123 that's a weird question, dude.
@@Elucidarian so you don't apply the standards to yourself. That's... good for you.

@@ericritenour9002 Correct!
Vidhammer thanks so much!
very clear, thanks for the video
Glad that someone still gets some use out of these old tutorials!
Nice explanation except you very often interchange the terms 'phase' and 'step'. This will cause confusion.
