Honestly I LOVE kotm all the new kaijus are so cool and it was awesome to see thermo Godzilla and Monster zero I always wanted to see a redesign of monster zero and it was awesome to see rodan and mothra so many cool new kaijus
I completely agree with this whole three parts list, this is for me(a bit of a switch I think) 1. KOTM 2.GvK 3.Skull Island 4.2014 5.The legacy one or whatever 6. The animated skull island
Kongs design from kong skull island is better than in GvK and new empire I wish they didn’t give him facial hair and I wish they stayed with the look he had before
Skull island is so underrated as much as i adore godzilla enough to let him have my kids pause kong skull island was too good i could watch it oger an over and over and not get bored.
My ranking is 1: Kong Skull Island, easily the most well put together film in the series, plus it’s just really fun and cool 2: Godzilla 2014, most people don’t like how little of Godzilla was actually shown, but I think that that really helped it, it made every scene with Godzilla all the more special. Not to mention the atomic breath reveal, sent chills down my spine 3: Godzilla King of the Monsters, for all the reasons you said 4: Godzilla VS Kong, big monster fight big monster, need I say more? 5: Monarch Legacy of Monsters, compelling, intriguing, fun, but I would have liked to see either more monsters, or more mystery 6: Skull Island tv show, I haven’t seen it yet
For the monster verse it’s easier to have human characters with Kong because they can humanize him more, it’s hard to do that with our Godzilla, even with shirizawa it was difficult it’s why I’m glad there only having 4 main human characters in GxK that way we can see Godzilla do his thing with no humans and Kong do his thing with humans
I agree with everything on this list besides monarch being above skull island show Monarch is still being made you can’t compare it to something that’s been going for a minute now
Personally I gotta put number 2 Godzilla vs destroyah bro this is so good I fell off my chair so many times because I was like BRO DID HE JUST SLAP GODZILLA? Leaning off my chair and number 1 Godzilla vs Kong bro like you said Godzilla pulled up like it’s a boxing match and was LAUGHING at Kong and when he went serious he went SERIOUS BRO was smacking left right kong and mecha took mechas beam like it was LIGHT WORK and when kong looked at Godzilla like friends? Godzilla was like nah😂

I’ll admit KOTM has problems but as someone who grew up watching godzilla films on vhs & playing with all the figures finally seeing godzilla duking it out in a film with mothra, rodan & freaking king ghidorah with todays vfx idc it was my childhood dream come true

My number 1 is Kong Skull Island. As a professional kaiju doctor, Kong Skull Island was one of the greats.
