Hypercarry is overrated at e0s0 anw, Jingliu and IL are struggling while Acheron is a bit better but rough at times. The main dps need further investment to shine. Break, dot and especially fua fare better cos they dont rely on a single dps while also buffing each other at the same time.
Agreed. Even though it makes for less "big screenshot" numbers, it's incredibly satisfying to see, for example, ratio ult > adventure ult > ratio fua > numby > ratio fua > aventurine fua > numby from just 2 actions that are completely off turn.
Agreed, and I think that's at least partially due to my early frustrations with Svarog. A fine tuned four-character team falls apart too easily sometimes when the opponents can pull one unit out of the team for a while.
@@voidbg7017 don't think so, he's been my main since I start playing, all the dmg every dps do are based on their multiplier, blade just don't have that high multiplier, no matter how ridiculous buffs he gets, it's still gonna be mid, or atleast better than ST characters, hoyo should really start reworking characters so that they can stay relevant
Too much harmony is not my favorite. I prefer a balance team. Meta change. But I can still work with the character in my team. I like nihility debuffer, a tank, and a healer. No matter how much you try to buff DPS, when the enemy is too strong seems boring. Take forever to finish. Debuffer helps to break the defense while deal damage. The harmony units worth it such as ruan mei, robin and sparkle will always be valuable. But I will choose 1 and get debuffer. For now only pela, welt and silver wolf. They are rare. Like expensive gems. IYKYK.
ideally i feel like harmony and nihility should offer similar levels of buffs that are suited for different situations, and so the normal setup would be one harmony and one nihility. i was hoping that jiaoqiu would do this but he’s mostly tailored for acherons stack generation soo.. there is still room for a debuffer capable of rivaling harmonies without making acheron broken(and who could finally replace pela/sw in acheron teams) and i hope they do release one eventually because as of now nihility is dot and not great debuffers
You still need to deal damage somehow, no matter the buffs. And if you wanna deal with tough ICE enemies you will need Jingliu (no harmony can make Yanquing viable) same with Fire, Wind, Electro and Physical (unless you get Clara, but she already got replaced by Yunli). Only Imaginary and quantum have no troubles with DD cuz of free Ratio and March and Xuei/Qinque are good enough with right harmony, but they still want that E6
Yeah but then you have 3 dps and no buffer and their dmg are gonna be kinda mid Thats the issue buffers are so broken that its always better to have 1 hypercarry + 2 buffer rather than a dps duo, March may change that a bit but I dont think its worth losing the last slot on a third dps considering you'd have 3 dps absolutely unbuffed.. (March only buff one ally, Topaz and Moze only buff FuA dmg..its complicated having a setup where everyone is buffed with sub dps that have very limited buffs
@@Lew98765 I'm pretty sure Feixiao's ult counts as a follow-up attack. If her trace works the same way as the Elation buff from SU, then it should be buffed by Topaz & Moze. Also my idea is to get as much Ult as possible, not the biggest nuke on the screen.
@@AevyCh yes it count as a FuA thats why I listed Topaz and Moze literaly, but the buff they provide is not supperior to a buffer, from whst I saw Feixiao do get more dmg having Sparkle/Robin but Topaz or Moze do good (both probably would do less good because then you have 3 dps and no buffer, having ult often for it to deal low dmg is not necessarily good considering ult still takes some turns to load the point of it is to clear targets when used, not be spammed to do nothing
I feel like they are also trying to make characters work in just more than one department. Aventurine being a sub dps-sustain Yunli having a self-sustaining kit...
It may cause by devs try to listen to players complain. From the start, devs add standard banner. Then, wait and see the community. They add new character but still ppl got complains. Just look at luocha and huo huo. You talk about them and got so many buzz. If a healer just able to heal, no want like it. What is the difference with Natasha then ? A 4 star sustain character. So, perhaps that is why. The new character may inspired or look like the previous character. But somehow better (depends on your needs).
That has always been a trend that HSR devs are making. Most notably huohuo. She was the first abundance unit that works most similar to a harmony unit. A healer AND a buffer/battery at once. It won't be a surprise to us if hsr devs mix-match and experiment with more game mechanics in the future
It's only "Rip" if you fall into the fallacy of believing you have to roll for every insane unit. If you instead make a team choice and focus on it, you can easily clear all content and get maximum jades from the endgame modes.
Honestly Jiaoqiu should be decent with him since Blade has synergy with debuffers and his ult bonus is good Still, an HP buffer would be amazing. Furina but in hsr would be perfect. Or a character that can apply taunt to any party member and increase HP/effect res
Here are some possible future metas that have been teased already: 1.) Summon meta. This has been teased with Jing Yuan and Topaz, and the fan favorite raccoon event. 2.) Manual play meta. This has been teased with the introduction of Yunli. 3.) HP manipulation meta. This has been teased with Blade, Arlan, Jade, and new mechanics in the Divergent Universe (Grit buff).

Imagine a harmony unit that converts HP manipulation into buffs (dmg%, res pen, energy, spd, and/or action advance) or a nihility unit that also converts HP manipulation into debuffs (def shred/ignore, spd loss, atk reduce, and/or action delay). This isn't completely baseless: Firefly drains her HP to get lots of energy to ult ASAP, and Jade literally gives the Debt Collector SPD in exchange for HP drain. While not to the same extent I described, a support unit like that is definitely possible.
I think it is very interesting to see that they gave everybody HMC and Hunt March. At this point, anybody caught up on story content ostensibly has a Break Team core because of that. Maybe it's not particularly well invested, but they have one. That means Mihoyo is relatively free to do things like make 1 side of an MoC crit immune, or make a boss punish players for critting with the confidence that players can handle it. That goes double because of the increased length of stay of endgame content. Obviously we may not see that extreme so soon, but I personally am going to be looking to pull units that diversify the mechanics I can exploit over incremental upgrades to existing comps.
@@lonewolf-4lfe399 I mean, everybody got HMC before fighting Sunday. The trigger for that is before you even go to the theater. It is a bit weird they shoved it all the way back in Belobog with Preservation MC, but it'll be good for the viability of every future break DPS, and it means newer players get an actual strat to rely on before they go farm crit relics till they burn out.
I feel like making something actively punish you for critting it would kinda suck because then random crit stats on your characters would be detrimental. Also everyone still has a *chance* to crit.
@@mailcs06 They would have to balance the mechanic around that. Realitically it shouldn't be so strong that hitting it a few times over the course of the fight should matter, but it should be devestating to a full crit build.

I kinda wish it was Nihilty and Harmony that were the major game shifters. Like id love to see the reverse of instead of buffing your team to oblivion you nerf the enemy’s so much to a point where you can allow other team archetypes

I've always been screwed since I mostly collect men and all harmony are women. I adore Robin though so I'll be trying to get her again on rerun. Hopefully her brother is also harmony because I want him
I also wish Sunday will be Imaginary harmony like Sparkle. Why? So I can add him to mono imaginary team. The problem with mono imaginary is the sp management. Yukong is a cool character but I wish she can be sp positive. If she is not E6 and manual battle, it is not a good play.

People keep talking about hypercarry teams being a bit boring when for me it's quite the opposite, it's been break, double dps fua and dot for like.. what feels like over a year now, If anything I want hypercarry to come back a little.
While I think this archetype-focused changing of the meta is a mostly good thing, what irks me is that you are "forced" to pull for characters you don't like if you want to play those you do like at their best. I love Kafka but I'm lukewarm about Black Swan so i didn't pull for her (nor will I at her rerun), and thus my Kafka just stays benched most of the time. It's not the end of the world but I wish there was a little more flexibility in team building. Great marketing strategy tho, can't argue about that lol
But… that’s just how team composition with classes work? That’s how like all team fighting gacha games go about their combat (hrs obviously, but dragon ball legends, seven deadly sins grand cross and literally all games with any resemblance of trait booting capabilities)
@@arigamer1923 oh I am super super ignorant about gacha (I only play Genshin and Wuwa other than HSR) so that's what I am comparing it to! I understand they're different games with very different dynamics so my post was just a personal preference. Overall HSR is a great game and what I like about it is more than enough to make up for what I'm not a fan of so it's not a big deal 🤝

Hsr works differently due to how much weight it puts into its support characters, and since they (genshin and wuwa) are games less focused on strategy things like these tend to pop up when comparing. It’s not for everyone that’s for sure, not everyone has to like the same games, much less everything about them. 🤝

For me, this stretch from Acheron to Boothill to Firefly has been the most braindead combat experience in Star rail. I honestly think that the best kit design for the entire 2.x patch up until 2.4 is March 7th hunt. So I'm personally looking forward to the new phase.

The hypercarry meta was designed to be "easy" to build and invest for the start of the game, and the more we go on, the more you need to build all traces for a character to be fully online with their build. For me, this is an onion of shifting meta, players shift their teams at the speed of energy and overall top tier teams/characters are shifting either at the speed of new end-game content, or at the speed of enabler's release. @waveman Curious on your reasons to use Hanya, I'm using her for my Argenti/Bronya/Hanya/Fu Xuan and overall she's my go to pair with Bronya for better ease of skill points. I also find out that with some setup, like Herta/Himeko, with E6 Hanya and using her ultimate's buff on the DPS turn, you can cycle her ultimate on both units with almost no downtime.
started using robin, ruan mei, and gallagher with my dan heng to keep up with the weakness break meta--- ofc it works luckily, with rm's lc and gallagher skill point build
Dual carry is fun because more attacks. especially when the attacker gets a boring period. like jingliu for instance when you used all 4 enhances. maybe 5 if you run tingyun. there's always a period where their damage isn't all there. another instance is firefly. she does no damage if they dont break. and when her ults ends you need atleast 2 turns to ult again. acheron can get consistent ults but theres a period where she does average damage. the only ones that don't have a boring period are FUA units where their damage is consistent through a gimick and DOT teams. when there is 2 carries there's no boring support basic attack waiting for their carry to get to that point. theres always a cool gimick. for instance, Fei's giant damage comes from ult, but her fua and action forward gimick is fun. if you add march, fei will always use FUA after every turn. because march attacks when she attacks. and when march attacks fei attacks. if both your fei and march have fairly even speeds like 165 march and 180 fei. its a really fun combo to see while waiting. aswell as march benefiting from fei with her enhanced basic attack and really low energy cost, it just feels really fun to see.
that's how I feel as well. my break team does big numbers but it feels like a chore to play sometimes. so I ended up playing my fua team again since it's still so fun to play
I'll be honest, I do agree with this analysis. But what this proves to me is that it makes the game feel too mindless to play if you just follow the meta. Team composition ends up just circling around the Harmony characters and that's mainly it. This is why I'm mainly interested in seeing people do 4 star + free character and light cone only clears, or just really wacky team comps (like Robin hypercarry). Mind you, Harmony units still dominate 4 star only comps, but not in such an all encompassing manner, since people have to get creative when dealing with lower dps ceiling teams.
I'd have less issue with powercreep if they'd go out of their way to buff older characters the way Genshin does it. But HSR seems to only add things that buff the already broken beyond believe current characters these days. I don't like it when older characters get faded out at such a rapid pace. It also devalues rerun banners so it's not a good idea from a business perspective either. Why pull for Blade if the alternative is Firefly?
Blade and firefly… aren’t really alike? I don’t play blade but I didn’t know he was a break focused character? Some characters get side buffed when new addition come tho. See DHIL when sparkle dropped. Or topaz getting better and better as new FUA units dropped. Even yanqing got massively buffed when aventurine came around. There are obviously many units that have faded into obscurity, with their archetypes being overlooked, and some where pretty mid from the start. The thing is that, hsr being a teambuilding game, the main way it boosts older characters is by giving them synergies with newer characters, and so they get more value out of their kit.
I'm still not pulling for Lightning general, but I'll be glad if he can become really strong without huge investements becaus he is nice lorewise and he should be strong cuz he is the strongest on the Xianzhou
There was one PF or FH that was follow up focused a half a year ago or something that actually got me to pull out march 7th again for the first time in forever. As long as the buffs dont become hyper hyper specific, the rotation for character focuses will let older characters be relevant. (For context, it was a PF that had a buff for doing damage based on number of follow ups, so clara+march constantly filled that meter for big burst without fail.)
Triple dps with Feixiao might be a thing, particularly when running her with Topaz/Moze/March 7th. Topaz, Moze, and March 7th are sub dps with fua and supporting capability which works well with Feixiao. You can add in Aventurine too who can do good personal dmg as a sustain unit. The thing with Feixiao is that she wants to be paired with units who likes to attack a lot so most harmonies won't work well with her. Unless you're using Robin but she needs to have little to no downtime outside of her ult.
@@soulfulhuman8724 at the moment it won't matter if they are hunt, we have a harmony character that can deal more dmg than arlan with basic kit, nihility is litteraly the embodiment of, choose, debuff,dot,damage, moze have tons of support things in his kit, like giving 40% crit dmg, he gives sp after fua and sh#t i can't remember, if you want 0 cycle, it will be def 3 hunt and robin for feixiao, but for regular uses, aventurine is a thing

You are really popping off with the algorithms, keep up the good work! I felt all your "Theory" videos were pretty interesting. The game meta is revolving between harmonies, albeit exception like Archeron (pre E2). Ruanmei in 2.3 was a final piece of teambuilding for my account, and every other supports are busted also, which makes pulling for them especially worth it.
I've been thinking about an HP manipulation team. We now have a lot of characters that change their own/team HP. Arlan, Jingliu, Blade, Jade, Firefly, Yunli. Having a unit who buffs the team when HP changes could be a big buff to some of these characters. That also makes abundance units more valuable compared to preservation. This obviously depends on getting a new harmony character, but that is often how it goes in these games 😂
Additionally to your short discussion on the constantly shifting meta. The variety of late game content allows most units in off meta teams to succeed, though with the expectation said off meta units may be more invested in.
Tbh having Acheron and also Firefly will not make you worry not clearing any endgame content anymore. This is why no DPS so far is getting my attention since they're not even gamebreaking and doesn't give you the benefit of Acheron and Firefly with low investment
Duo DPS is unfortunately for the people that worship HSR and bad news for casuals like me. Still it’s an interesting discussion. I play very casually and I’ve logged in maybe 90 days or so over the past year and I can comfortably get MoC 10, Apoc 6 and PF 7 stars without much issue. This is in spite of the fact that I’ve grossly mismanaged my resources for the first month. So I’m always skeptical of these “meta shifts” because the gains in Jades are marginal at best. Better to skip every DPS and get one hypercarry to E2 and life is much easier then
Yeah I don't like Robin's design/personality so I probably won't pull for Feixiao, even if I love her character on both fronts. Hoyo sure knows how to push people into spending money 😂
I'm so glad i pulled for Robin, originally thought she'd just be a Ruan Mei sidegrade for my FuA team. I really underestimated a full team action advance.
Yeah hypercarry is still the cheapest damage (fewest pulls necessary) you can get outside of super break. Robin teams rising in the meta are very strong but basically all of them are all limited units ideally with signature LCs and eidolons, and most players are buying it hook line and sinker. Well played Hoyo, well played. As someone who will never top up I feel like I might be locked out of some metas going forward, we'll see.
True Acheron shreds glad I got two copies of her and her LC same for Firefly gonna save for her e2. Although the only thing that completely stops FF is a toughness locked enemy but those are so few rn so she’s great besides those rare cases.
It's actually been fun revisiting hypercarry after pulling Yunli. I haven't played hypercarry in months. I finally have an excuse to use Tingyun and Sparkle again, and Sparkle is one of my favorite characters. But yeah, at one point hypercarry really WAS getting super boring. I never really felt it since I skipped most of the major hyper carry dps characters. That's Seele, Jing Yuan, Jingliu, Imbibitor Lunae. I skipped them all, and only pulled Blade and Topaz early on. In the early days I focused on DoT with my Kafka, so I never felt that hypercarry burnout.

People talking about how bad the powercreep in HSR is, have probably never seen real powercreep, where meta defining units are literally unusable after like half a year or at best a year. Also, powercreep in the sense of new characters hitting harder than old ones, which is at least partly true for HSR, only matters if old ones are not able to clear endgame anymore, which is far from being the case in HSR. I cleared the latest MoC 12 with Clara on one side just fine and well within the cycle limit, simply because it favored her. Seele, who according to some people is powercreeped so hard that she's barely usable anymore, is in fact one of the best 0 cycle units to this date. What many people also don't understand, is that it's stupid to compare an old character to a character that just released, as all game modes will have buffs favoring them. Even Acheron doesn't feel as OP anymore as during her release and a lot of people started noticing that. Well duh, it's break meta right now, what did you expect. That doesn't mean though that Acheron will be powercrept within the next few patches. At the end of the day Seele still obliterates QUA weak stages, Jingliu still obliterates Ice weak stages, Blade still obliterates Wind weak stages etc. The buffs in the endgame modes rotate for the different team archetypes and as long as you play around weaknesses and those buffs, even 1.0 era characters will do their job better, than if you try to brute force a stage with a newer character that doesn't benefit from neither weakness type nor current buff.
As long as you play around weaknesses? You sure? No wonder jingyuan can't do his shit against this latest moc's. Even with the help of Gallagher he still sucks even if you play with weaknesses you can't change the the fact that a character is trash.
my problem is I want to save everything for the chance they add tohsaka as playable in the fate collab so I can e6. I can only barely full clear MOC and lately I cant full clear PF. apoc shadow I couldn't full clear the first one and have yet to try the second. if im waiting a whole year my account is gonna be cooked. hopefully ill be able to clear most of the content without worrying too much abt missed jades. it should only be a few hundred per patch anyways if I can still clear at this rate... i know you said this video isnt trying to be a doompost but this game really does pick up the pace a lot faster with powercreep and incentive to pull than genshin which is still home base for me

FUA is here to stay. They have the most characters compared to any other archetype . Even 3/10 of the Stonehearts are FUA based, Yunli just came out, and March, Moze, Feixiao, and Lingsha all have FUA 😂

Unfortunately I don’t see FF staying as valuable as Acheron and Feixiao. They are pretty much the pillars of their respective play styles and with how their ultimates work their room to grow is insane. FF is still a powerhouse and will stay one for a while though lol
I just plan on starting out with Feixiao as a hypercarry with Yukong, Bronya, and Aventurine at first but then a bit later experiment her with Asta and hunt March with Aventurine. Reason for Asta is because I don’t own Robin or Ruan Mei simply because I can’t be bothered to care about characters I don’t care for or like lol
When the meta change, powercreep happens. Not just the characters powercreep. I’m talking about enemies who are more easily beaten with certain archetype of characters. Break characters are good with any enemies. Hypercarry are only good if the weakness of enemy is the same. Characters with counter work better when enemies have speed (same with dot characters). Now this new mechanic where character’s damage comes from allies taking turns work best with fast enemies. I think as the meta changes, they need to make sure old units aren’t power crept. It’s no use pulling for a 5*. Now you need at least their lightcone/eidolons to get full perfect clears on endgame content. This benefits old players and players who spends. What about new players and those who don’t spend?
I feel like even with all that you can't give that much credit to hsr for "powercreep done right" when basically every patch is "more dmg or different way to do more dmg or different way to boost dmg" ofc with a pinch of salt to that statement. I feel like "powercreep done right" is more fitting for genshin where it was very slow ramping up in numbers and many version 1 characters are still very much so "meta" compared to hsr where we got clara the strongest destruction unit at launch then blade another destruction unit who was stronger in the numbers alone then dhil then jingliu then everything got consumed by archeron similar to neuvilette but neuvilette was 4 years into the game where acheron was within a year. Imagine an acheron level of power relative to 3 years time later compared to now. neuvilette is better than childe and ayato but all three are still competitive with the right teams whereas acheron just destroys the competition along with firefly. Ofc powercreep wouldn't be an issue if they could adjust characters like in league of legends or games like that but the can't cause then they'll be hit with a lawsuit when they try to nerf that one op character but the alternative is to do a lot of work to buff the others. Damn I yapped.
Nothing in hsr when it comes to powercreep is done right. Characters like some Blade become obsolete in a matter of months, new characters dealing million(s) of dame is what going to be the end of this game for many players. Its simply a hamster wheel
If they gonna release a dot Harmony. My suggestion would be to not over powercreep. Harmony character ultimate puts a status on enemies for certain no if turns which makes dots do 100% crit with fixed crit dmg on their turn. It would be soo good.
With so many hunt characters and return back to Xianzhou, then meta change to favor the Hunt characters. Not suprise. Before is destruction and nihility meta. Devs team probably try to change water in the pool. Become the equilibrium. But still preservation is underrated and lack F2P options. Make players (somehow) think preservation is not desirable or unnecessary in the team. Those who hate Aventurine boss (as far as I see) not like/own/want to use a preservation character.
1-3 DoT team(missing as an example) DoT's need love too. Give me a DoT healer to replace what Jiaoqiu lost and a DoT Harmony. My thoughts for a DoT healer would be either using Physical Bleed procs to convert to Health Regen, or Ice type abundance using Freeze Break(Shatter I guess) to convert to healing water. My ideas for the MC are Ice Abundance Scythe, Quantum Nihility Shuriken, Wind Erudition Katana and finally Lightning Hunt Hammer. Now that we have March 7th also going through an elemental journey i'll have to theory craft some variants for her as well.
Also it was more than just Black Swan, Kafka was the beginning of DoT shift while Black Swan became her best friend and Huohuo exists as their side buffer. Now while DoT isn't a meta per se(because its not Meta defining) it can be a meta in Simulated Universe if your units are built well enough. I do look forward to them trying to capitalize on more DoT units. We are getting JQ to replace Guinafen and I would hope the vampire lady looking art teaser means we get a replacement for Luka
I really love your videos. Very interesting even though I dont care about the Meta since I already have my 2 perfect waifu team which I will TRY to always use no matter what Hoyo does. Thank goodness Ruan Mei/ Robin/ Firefly are so gorgeous that I grab them. So even though I run Sushang in final floor of MoC and APOC, I can still get those juicy jades without Acheron/Aventurine/Topaz. Also gonna skip Yunli and Feixiao (and maybe skipping Lingsha coz I need to save for another HMC type unit for Sushang)
I think HP draining characters will start becoming meta. Blade got a tiny buff thanks to Jade, and I hope characters with hp drain will start coming out. Healers will also become much more valuable, which results to another slap in the face for hypercarry 0 cycles. No more 3 harmony teams!
Unless we get a support that does unfathomable amounts of follow up attacksand buffs them for the team, the only follow up characters for Feixao seem to be DPS and Aventurine. Maybe Robin cuz whole team 100 AA is pretty good for follow ups.

Feixiao is nothing more than a more sophisticated Boothill (break nuke, or kinda) but ultimate based with a certain incentive to use a sub dps rather than a second buffer in order to get frequent attacks I say kinda break nuke because her kit is odd, she can just break anything and seem to play a lot along thzt given the burst attacks are either buffed if the enemy is broken or not, but she have.. no break effect scaling.. which means she will break but doesnt really focus on the break itself ? Anyway still suppose their point is to make her a break nuke like Boothill who will just finish any target when breaking it Its nice that they are starting to make cooler sub dps because damn this part was lacking terribly Dual carry were often awful.. use two dps was worst than one with full buffer because none really gained real benefits from being in a duo.. and we had no sub dps able to provide any real benefits to justify take a buffer slot.. Now it changed with March7 An other fun way to see things is that Acheron and Feixiao are also potential sub dps, imagine, you can run them in any team to load their burst and unleash it when needed, this is particularily good in Pure fiction like when they want to make anti-counter waves for Clara/Yunli you can simply have Acheron loading her burst on the side and clearing waves whenever its ready, obviously not recommended for other modes But still nice that we are getting new synergies

Во второй версии это FUA и Break. В 3.0 скорей всего наш ждут гибридные команды, очень много гибридов мы получаем в последнее время. Также все три топовые dd текущей меты не работают с энергией(или это им не нужно) поэтому в будущем, все кто плохо работают с энергией могут очень сильно пострадать.
the problem I've most with feixiao is she's just a acheron reskin which is lazy design. That and i find hypercarries stale to play because example with jingliu there's only 1 set of rotation you can do, skill bronya skill jl skill , you get the point. Feixiao rotations seem flexible but still end of the day it's press ult then gg. Oppositely DOT and RRAT have the most dynamic playstyle to me and most fun. I was on the edge of pulling for feixiao to keep up with meta but you've convinced me to just wait for supports to arrive, thx
sorry but how does RRAT play any differently than feixiao when youre literally just replacing ratio with her feixiao isnt even a "hypercarry" in her best team, every team member is dealing significant damage 💀
The metaslaves doompost cos they alr invested deep into their hypercarry thinking that it will last long. Meanwhile in order to keep up with the meta they should have predicted the direction the game is going, but oh well they prefer to look at tier list instead
Yeah I agree, especially if you’re a F2P player. Picking up the new shiny dps is nice but their lifespan at the top is going to be extremely short. Going for enablers/sub dps units has been working out pretty well I do potentially see Acheron maintaining relevancy because of how closely her kit ties to a WHOLE path and I feel the same about Feixiao and follow ups
Hunt March should be the best option if you don't have Topaz, Moze might be good too from where i heard people saying. As for Aventurine, he should be coming back in 2.6 or maybe 2.7, until there maybe Lingsha will be the best, Gallagher should be good too since he's fast
March 7th and Moze if he gets buffed will be a good-ish replacement for Topaz. Just keep in mind that the loss of 50% follow-up dmg boost is gonna be felt. Aventurine is a bit more replaceable, but he still has a lot of frequent FUAs. Idk maybe Gallagher with Multiplication can be the sustain replacement since he can get a lot of turns with his ult.
Acheron means nihility gang or should I say, the debuffer team. Not DoT. When Kafka release, it used to be the meta DoT. Everyone trying to build sampo and luka. Black swan coming and make kafka hype again. But with Acheron, I think many players used her more than Kafka.

Maybe something like Freezing like the remembrance path? Maybe a summon meta, since there are few characters with summons. An abundance meta would be interesting too, healers are quite weak nowdays, there's very little HP scallers, Blade is the only DPS unit with HP scalling iirc
Hopefully, non-unit content will not be impacted, and leave us defrauded with a floppy mess of RNG ontop of RNG ontop of nerfing community favorite options rather than buffing weaker or adding a new path to SU.

I'dwinturine obliterates Gepard, Hoho and Luocha > Bailu, Yunli > Clara, Jingliu > Yanqing and Firefly is so much better than Himeko overall, but in PF is probably better. The only 2 standard 5* that didn't get powercrept directly is Bronya although since Sparkle came out, Bronya fits less teams, but still fits and can't be replace directly for some teams and probably still has some potential to stay viable in the future. Also Welt probably didn't get direct powercreep, but I can't say much about him cuz I don't have him, only heard he can be used only as sustain since he is one of the worst Imaginary DPS at the moment.

Huh wdym feixiao wants robin, get robin out of the team because after her ult her AV is fixed, meaning robin's FUA wont proc for Feixiao's ult charge, tho she still gives good buff and dmg. BiS for feixiao is moze/march/topaz(min E1/S1 for buff/debuff), lingsha/gallagher/aven, SW>bronya/robin. Tho robin would be better in the case of 0 cycle, also use gallagher QPQ and Bronya DDD in that case.
This is just wrong bro. Moze in his current state is barely a unit, March7th is a good budget option but no where near the level of dmg boost that Robin gives, and Topaz is the only one you're actually right on. On top of the buffs, Robin's 100% team-wide advance means more stacks for Feixiao's ult. Even if Robin's joint attacks don't add to the stack, the extra turn and fua from Topaz and Feixiao does. While Robin's joint attacks don't contribute to the overall ult count, it still gives extra dmg outside of Feixiao's ult, not to mention Robin's attack was never considered a FUA, so that's just straight up wrong. It's an additional attack like Tingyun has. And no, SW is not better than Robin in any capacity. Even if Robin didn't have her strong buffs, her teamwide advance alone makes her more valuable. Same goes for Bronya who only advanced a single ally, and even Bronya with DDD, you're just better off using Robin. It's one thing to suggest these as alternatives, but its insane levels of coping and/or misinfo to say that Robin is not Feixiao's BiS support.

Hypercarry is overrated at e0s0 anw, Jingliu and IL are struggling while Acheron is a bit better but rough at times. The main dps need further investment to shine. Break, dot and especially fua fare better cos they dont rely on a single dps while also buffing each other at the same time.
Agreed. Even though it makes for less "big screenshot" numbers, it's incredibly satisfying to see, for example, ratio ult > adventure ult > ratio fua > numby > ratio fua > aventurine fua > numby from just 2 actions that are completely off turn.
Agreed, and I think that's at least partially due to my early frustrations with Svarog. A fine tuned four-character team falls apart too easily sometimes when the opponents can pull one unit out of the team for a while.

basically the meta has always been dictated by the supports and as a harmony character collector I've always been thriving 😛
Too much harmony is not my favorite. I prefer a balance team. Meta change. But I can still work with the character in my team. I like nihility debuffer, a tank, and a healer. No matter how much you try to buff DPS, when the enemy is too strong seems boring. Take forever to finish. Debuffer helps to break the defense while deal damage. The harmony units worth it such as ruan mei, robin and sparkle will always be valuable. But I will choose 1 and get debuffer. For now only pela, welt and silver wolf. They are rare. Like expensive gems. IYKYK.
ideally i feel like harmony and nihility should offer similar levels of buffs that are suited for different situations, and so the normal setup would be one harmony and one nihility. i was hoping that jiaoqiu would do this but he’s mostly tailored for acherons stack generation soo.. there is still room for a debuffer capable of rivaling harmonies without making acheron broken(and who could finally replace pela/sw in acheron teams) and i hope they do release one eventually because as of now nihility is dot and not great debuffers

Same, I got every harmony five star and I wouldn’t be surprised if I see Ruan Mei, Robin or sparkle as top used characters in my acc.
You still need to deal damage somehow, no matter the buffs. And if you wanna deal with tough ICE enemies you will need Jingliu (no harmony can make Yanquing viable) same with Fire, Wind, Electro and Physical (unless you get Clara, but she already got replaced by Yunli). Only Imaginary and quantum have no troubles with DD cuz of free Ratio and March and Xuei/Qinque are good enough with right harmony, but they still want that E6
Running Triple Hunt with Feixiao will be so fun. You can spam her Ult all day

Thats the issue buffers are so broken that its always better to have 1 hypercarry + 2 buffer rather than a dps duo, March may change that a bit but I dont think its worth losing the last slot on a third dps considering you'd have 3 dps absolutely unbuffed.. (March only buff one ally, Topaz and Moze only buff FuA dmg..its complicated having a setup where everyone is buffed with sub dps that have very limited buffs
@@Lew98765 I'm pretty sure Feixiao's ult counts as a follow-up attack. If her trace works the same way as the Elation buff from SU, then it should be buffed by Topaz & Moze.
Also my idea is to get as much Ult as possible, not the biggest nuke on the screen.
@@AevyCh yes it count as a FuA thats why I listed Topaz and Moze literaly, but the buff they provide is not supperior to a buffer, from whst I saw Feixiao do get more dmg having Sparkle/Robin but Topaz or Moze do good (both probably would do less good because then you have 3 dps and no buffer, having ult often for it to deal low dmg is not necessarily good considering ult still takes some turns to load the point of it is to clear targets when used, not be spammed to do nothing

It may cause by devs try to listen to players complain. From the start, devs add standard banner. Then, wait and see the community. They add new character but still ppl got complains.
Just look at luocha and huo huo. You talk about them and got so many buzz. If a healer just able to heal, no want like it. What is the difference with Natasha then ? A 4 star sustain character. So, perhaps that is why. The new character may inspired or look like the previous character. But somehow better (depends on your needs).
Destruction characters are supposed to have high survivibility, but most Destruction type characters aren't designed around this principle.
That has always been a trend that HSR devs are making. Most notably huohuo. She was the first abundance unit that works most similar to a harmony unit. A healer AND a buffer/battery at once. It won't be a surprise to us if hsr devs mix-match and experiment with more game mechanics in the future
They have to powercreep old characters otherwise at some point, nobody will be paying for new chars since they already got viable old chars

Here are some possible future metas that have been teased already:
1.) Summon meta. This has been teased with Jing Yuan and Topaz, and the fan favorite raccoon event.
2.) Manual play meta. This has been teased with the introduction of Yunli.
3.) HP manipulation meta. This has been teased with Blade, Arlan, Jade, and new mechanics in the Divergent Universe (Grit buff).

Imagine a harmony unit that converts HP manipulation into buffs (dmg%, res pen, energy, spd, and/or action advance) or a nihility unit that also converts HP manipulation into debuffs (def shred/ignore, spd loss, atk reduce, and/or action delay).
This isn't completely baseless: Firefly drains her HP to get lots of energy to ult ASAP, and Jade literally gives the Debt Collector SPD in exchange for HP drain.
While not to the same extent I described, a support unit like that is definitely possible.

I think it is very interesting to see that they gave everybody HMC and Hunt March. At this point, anybody caught up on story content ostensibly has a Break Team core because of that. Maybe it's not particularly well invested, but they have one. That means Mihoyo is relatively free to do things like make 1 side of an MoC crit immune, or make a boss punish players for critting with the confidence that players can handle it. That goes double because of the increased length of stay of endgame content. Obviously we may not see that extreme so soon, but I personally am going to be looking to pull units that diversify the mechanics I can exploit over incremental upgrades to existing comps.

@@lonewolf-4lfe399 I mean, everybody got HMC before fighting Sunday. The trigger for that is before you even go to the theater. It is a bit weird they shoved it all the way back in Belobog with Preservation MC, but it'll be good for the viability of every future break DPS, and it means newer players get an actual strat to rely on before they go farm crit relics till they burn out.
I feel like making something actively punish you for critting it would kinda suck because then random crit stats on your characters would be detrimental.
Also everyone still has a *chance* to crit.

People keep talking about hypercarry teams being a bit boring when for me it's quite the opposite, it's been break, double dps fua and dot for like.. what feels like over a year now, If anything I want hypercarry to come back a little.
Acheron is pretty much a regular hypercarry crit dps tbh, just with a unique energy mechanic.

While I think this archetype-focused changing of the meta is a mostly good thing, what irks me is that you are "forced" to pull for characters you don't like if you want to play those you do like at their best. I love Kafka but I'm lukewarm about Black Swan so i didn't pull for her (nor will I at her rerun), and thus my Kafka just stays benched most of the time. It's not the end of the world but I wish there was a little more flexibility in team building. Great marketing strategy tho, can't argue about that lol
But… that’s just how team composition with classes work? That’s how like all team fighting gacha games go about their combat (hrs obviously, but dragon ball legends, seven deadly sins grand cross and literally all games with any resemblance of trait booting capabilities)

I understand they're different games with very different dynamics so my post was just a personal preference. Overall HSR is a great game and what I like about it is more than enough to make up for what I'm not a fan of so it's not a big deal 🤝

Hsr works differently due to how much weight it puts into its support characters, and since they (genshin and wuwa) are games less focused on strategy things like these tend to pop up when comparing. For me, this stretch from Acheron to Boothill to Firefly has been the most braindead combat experience in Star rail.
I honestly think that the best kit design for the entire 2.x patch up until 2.4 is March 7th hunt. So I'm personally looking forward to the new phase.
Love your analysis on this and totally agree. The hypercarry meta was designed to be "easy" to build and invest for the start of the game, and the more we go on, the more you need to build all traces for a character to be fully online with their build.
For me, this is an onion of shifting meta, players shift their teams at the speed of energy and overall top tier teams/characters are shifting either at the speed of new end-game content, or at the speed of enabler's release.
@waveman Curious on your reasons to use Hanya, I'm using her for my Argenti/Bronya/Hanya/Fu Xuan and overall she's my go to pair with Bronya for better ease of skill points. I also find out that with some setup, like Herta/Himeko, with E6 Hanya and using her ultimate's buff on the DPS turn, you can cycle her ultimate on both units with almost no downtime.
started using robin, ruan mei, and gallagher with my dan heng to keep up with the weakness break meta--- ofc it works luckily, with rm's lc and gallagher skill point build
Dual carry is fun because more attacks. especially when the attacker gets a boring period. like jingliu for instance when you used all 4 enhances. maybe 5 if you run tingyun. there's always a period where their damage isn't all there.
another instance is firefly. she does no damage if they dont break. and when her ults ends you need atleast 2 turns to ult again.
acheron can get consistent ults but theres a period where she does average damage.
the only ones that don't have a boring period are FUA units where their damage is consistent through a gimick and DOT teams.
when there is 2 carries there's no boring support basic attack waiting for their carry to get to that point. theres always a cool gimick. for instance, Fei's giant damage comes from ult, but her fua and action forward gimick is fun. if you add march, fei will always use FUA after every turn. because march attacks when she attacks. and when march attacks fei attacks.
if both your fei and march have fairly even speeds like 165 march and 180 fei. its a really fun combo to see while waiting. aswell as march benefiting from fei with her enhanced basic attack and really low energy cost, it just feels really fun to see.
that's how I feel as well. my break team does big numbers but it feels like a chore to play sometimes. so I ended up playing my fua team again since it's still so fun to play

I'll be honest, I do agree with this analysis. But what this proves to me is that it makes the game feel too mindless to play if you just follow the meta. Team composition ends up just circling around the Harmony characters and that's mainly it.
This is why I'm mainly interested in seeing people do 4 star + free character and light cone only clears, or just really wacky team comps (like Robin hypercarry). Mind you, Harmony units still dominate 4 star only comps, but not in such an all encompassing manner, since people have to get creative when dealing with lower dps ceiling teams.
I'd have less issue with powercreep if they'd go out of their way to buff older characters the way Genshin does it. But HSR seems to only add things that buff the already broken beyond believe current characters these days. I don't like it when older characters get faded out at such a rapid pace. It also devalues rerun banners so it's not a good idea from a business perspective either. Why pull for Blade if the alternative is Firefly?
Older characters are getting buffed tho, it's just that some of them are so bad (looking at blade and jing yuan) buffs don't help

Some characters get side buffed when new addition come tho. See DHIL when sparkle dropped. Or topaz getting better and better as new FUA units dropped. Even yanqing got massively buffed when aventurine came around. There are obviously many units that have faded into obscurity, with their archetypes being overlooked, and some where pretty mid from the start.
The thing is that, hsr being a teambuilding game, the main way it boosts older characters is by giving them synergies with newer characters, and so they get more value out of their kit.
The meta is shifting towards summon units and team positioning... calling it right now...

There was one PF or FH that was follow up focused a half a year ago or something that actually got me to pull out march 7th again for the first time in forever. As long as the buffs dont become hyper hyper specific, the rotation for character focuses will let older characters be relevant.
(For context, it was a PF that had a buff for doing damage based on number of follow ups, so clara+march constantly filled that meter for big burst without fail.)
Triple dps with Feixiao might be a thing, particularly when running her with Topaz/Moze/March 7th. Topaz, Moze, and March 7th are sub dps with fua and supporting capability which works well with Feixiao. You can add in Aventurine too who can do good personal dmg as a sustain unit.
The thing with Feixiao is that she wants to be paired with units who likes to attack a lot so most harmonies won't work well with her. Unless you're using Robin but she needs to have little to no downtime outside of her ult.

@@soulfulhuman8724 at the moment it won't matter if they are hunt, we have a harmony character that can deal more dmg than arlan with basic kit, nihility is litteraly the embodiment of, choose, debuff,dot,damage, moze have tons of support things in his kit, like giving 40% crit dmg, he gives sp after fua and sh#t i can't remember, if you want 0 cycle, it will be def 3 hunt and robin for feixiao, but for regular uses, aventurine is a thing

Ruanmei in 2.3 was a final piece of teambuilding for my account, and every other supports are busted also, which makes pulling for them especially worth it.

I've been thinking about an HP manipulation team. We now have a lot of characters that change their own/team HP. Arlan, Jingliu, Blade, Jade, Firefly, Yunli. Having a unit who buffs the team when HP changes could be a big buff to some of these characters. That also makes abundance units more valuable compared to preservation.
This obviously depends on getting a new harmony character, but that is often how it goes in these games 😂

I'm just happy I never have to farm anything again because I have a C2R1 acheron.
Tbh having Acheron and also Firefly will not make you worry not clearing any endgame content anymore. This is why no DPS so far is getting my attention since they're not even gamebreaking and doesn't give you the benefit of Acheron and Firefly with low investment
Duo DPS is unfortunately for the people that worship HSR and bad news for casuals like me. Still it’s an interesting discussion. I play very casually and I’ve logged in maybe 90 days or so over the past year and I can comfortably get MoC 10, Apoc 6 and PF 7 stars without much issue. This is in spite of the fact that I’ve grossly mismanaged my resources for the first month.
So I’m always skeptical of these “meta shifts” because the gains in Jades are marginal at best. Better to skip every DPS and get one hypercarry to E2 and life is much easier then

Yeah hypercarry is still the cheapest damage (fewest pulls necessary) you can get outside of super break. Robin teams rising in the meta are very strong but basically all of them are all limited units ideally with signature LCs and eidolons, and most players are buying it hook line and sinker. Well played Hoyo, well played. As someone who will never top up I feel like I might be locked out of some metas going forward, we'll see.

It's actually been fun revisiting hypercarry after pulling Yunli. I haven't played hypercarry in months. I finally have an excuse to use Tingyun and Sparkle again, and Sparkle is one of my favorite characters.
But yeah, at one point hypercarry really WAS getting super boring. I never really felt it since I skipped most of the major hyper carry dps characters. That's Seele, Jing Yuan, Jingliu, Imbibitor Lunae. I skipped them all, and only pulled Blade and Topaz early on. In the early days I focused on DoT with my Kafka, so I never felt that hypercarry burnout.

People talking about how bad the powercreep in HSR is, have probably never seen real powercreep, where meta defining units are literally unusable after like half a year or at best a year. Also, powercreep in the sense of new characters hitting harder than old ones, which is at least partly true for HSR, only matters if old ones are not able to clear endgame anymore, which is far from being the case in HSR.
I cleared the latest MoC 12 with Clara on one side just fine and well within the cycle limit, simply because it favored her. Seele, who according to some people is powercreeped so hard that she's barely usable anymore, is in fact one of the best 0 cycle units to this date. What many people also don't understand, is that it's stupid to compare an old character to a character that just released, as all game modes will have buffs favoring them. Even Acheron doesn't feel as OP anymore as during her release and a lot of people started noticing that. Well duh, it's break meta right now, what did you expect. That doesn't mean though that Acheron will be powercrept within the next few patches.
At the end of the day Seele still obliterates QUA weak stages, Jingliu still obliterates Ice weak stages, Blade still obliterates Wind weak stages etc. The buffs in the endgame modes rotate for the different team archetypes and as long as you play around weaknesses and those buffs, even 1.0 era characters will do their job better, than if you try to brute force a stage with a newer character that doesn't benefit from neither weakness type nor current buff.
As long as you play around weaknesses? You sure? No wonder jingyuan can't do his shit against this latest moc's. Even with the help of Gallagher he still sucks even if you play with weaknesses you can't change the the fact that a character is trash.

my problem is I want to save everything for the chance they add tohsaka as playable in the fate collab so I can e6. I can only barely full clear MOC and lately I cant full clear PF. apoc shadow I couldn't full clear the first one and have yet to try the second. if im waiting a whole year my account is gonna be cooked. hopefully ill be able to clear most of the content without worrying too much abt missed jades. it should only be a few hundred per patch anyways if I can still clear at this rate... i know you said this video isnt trying to be a doompost but this game really does pick up the pace a lot faster with powercreep and incentive to pull than genshin which is still home base for me

FUA is here to stay. They have the most characters compared to any other archetype . Even 3/10 of the Stonehearts are FUA based, Yunli just came out, and March, Moze, Feixiao, and Lingsha all have FUA 😂

Unfortunately I don’t see FF staying as valuable as Acheron and Feixiao. They are pretty much the pillars of their respective play styles and with how their ultimates work their room to grow is insane.

I just plan on starting out with Feixiao as a hypercarry with Yukong, Bronya, and Aventurine at first but then a bit later experiment her with Asta and hunt March with Aventurine. Reason for Asta is because I don’t own Robin or Ruan Mei simply because I can’t be bothered to care about characters I don’t care for or like lol
When the meta change, powercreep happens. Not just the characters powercreep. I’m talking about enemies who are more easily beaten with certain archetype of characters.
Break characters are good with any enemies.
Hypercarry are only good if the weakness of enemy is the same.
Characters with counter work better when enemies have speed (same with dot characters).
Now this new mechanic where character’s damage comes from allies taking turns work best with fast enemies.
I think as the meta changes, they need to make sure old units aren’t power crept. It’s no use pulling for a 5*. Now you need at least their lightcone/eidolons to get full perfect clears on endgame content.
This benefits old players and players who spends. What about new players and those who don’t spend?
Break characters lose to weakness locking enemies like that robot thing, they’ll kill it but it takes a while longer
I feel like even with all that you can't give that much credit to hsr for "powercreep done right" when basically every patch is "more dmg or different way to do more dmg or different way to boost dmg" ofc with a pinch of salt to that statement. I feel like "powercreep done right" is more fitting for genshin where it was very slow ramping up in numbers and many version 1 characters are still very much so "meta" compared to hsr where we got clara the strongest destruction unit at launch then blade another destruction unit who was stronger in the numbers alone then dhil then jingliu then everything got consumed by archeron similar to neuvilette but neuvilette was 4 years into the game where acheron was within a year. Imagine an acheron level of power relative to 3 years time later compared to now. neuvilette is better than childe and ayato but all three are still competitive with the right teams whereas acheron just destroys the competition along with firefly. Ofc powercreep wouldn't be an issue if they could adjust characters like in league of legends or games like that but the can't cause then they'll be hit with a lawsuit when they try to nerf that one op character but the alternative is to do a lot of work to buff the others. Damn I yapped.
Nothing in hsr when it comes to powercreep is done right. Characters like some Blade become obsolete in a matter of months, new characters dealing million(s) of dame is what going to be the end of this game for many players. Its simply a hamster wheel

If they gonna release a dot Harmony. My suggestion would be to not over powercreep. Harmony character ultimate puts a status on enemies for certain no if turns which makes dots do 100% crit with fixed crit dmg on their turn. It would be soo good.

With so many hunt characters and return back to Xianzhou, then meta change to favor the Hunt characters. Not suprise. Before is destruction and nihility meta. Devs team probably try to change water in the pool. Become the equilibrium.
But still preservation is underrated and lack F2P options. Make players (somehow) think preservation is not desirable or unnecessary in the team. Those who hate Aventurine boss (as far as I see) not like/own/want to use a preservation character.

Give me a DoT healer to replace what Jiaoqiu lost and a DoT Harmony. My thoughts for a DoT healer would be either using Physical Bleed procs to convert to Health Regen, or Ice type abundance using Freeze Break(Shatter I guess) to convert to healing water.
My ideas for the MC are Ice Abundance Scythe, Quantum Nihility Shuriken, Wind Erudition Katana and finally Lightning Hunt Hammer. Now that we have March 7th also going through an elemental journey i'll have to theory craft some variants for her as well.
Also it was more than just Black Swan, Kafka was the beginning of DoT shift while Black Swan became her best friend and Huohuo exists as their side buffer. Now while DoT isn't a meta per se(because its not Meta defining) it can be a meta in Simulated Universe if your units are built well enough.
I do look forward to them trying to capitalize on more DoT units. We are getting JQ to replace Guinafen and I would hope the vampire lady looking art teaser means we get a replacement for Luka

Thank goodness Ruan Mei/ Robin/ Firefly are so gorgeous that I grab them. So even though I run Sushang in final floor of MoC and APOC, I can still get those juicy jades without Acheron/Aventurine/Topaz.
Also gonna skip Yunli and Feixiao (and maybe skipping Lingsha coz I need to save for another HMC type unit for Sushang)
I think HP draining characters will start becoming meta. Blade got a tiny buff thanks to Jade, and I hope characters with hp drain will start coming out. Healers will also become much more valuable, which results to another slap in the face for hypercarry 0 cycles. No more 3 harmony teams!
Unless we get a support that does unfathomable amounts of follow up attacksand buffs them for the team, the only follow up characters for Feixao seem to be DPS and Aventurine. Maybe Robin cuz whole team 100 AA is pretty good for follow ups.
Now that I think about it, Lingsha also has FuA. I wonder how she’d work with Feixiao
@@user-ot4ly9dp1c Lingsha can do 3 attacks back to back to back, for 1-2 stacks for Fei. Lingsha AA into Ult into Follow Up, maybe if her Bunny is close to follow up she can even do 4 actions in one turn for 2 Fei stacks.

Feixiao is nothing more than a more sophisticated Boothill (break nuke, or kinda) but ultimate based with a certain incentive to use a sub dps rather than a second buffer in order to get frequent attacks
I say kinda break nuke because her kit is odd, she can just break anything and seem to play a lot along thzt given the burst attacks are either buffed if the enemy is broken or not, but she have.. no break effect scaling.. which means she will break but doesnt really focus on the break itself ? Anyway still suppose their point is to make her a break nuke like Boothill who will just finish any target when breaking it

Dual carry were often awful.. use two dps was worst than one with full buffer because none really gained real benefits from being in a duo.. and we had no sub dps able to provide any real benefits to justify take a buffer slot..

An other fun way to see things is that Acheron and Feixiao are also potential sub dps, imagine, you can run them in any team to load their burst and unleash it when needed, this is particularily good in Pure fiction like when they want to make anti-counter waves for Clara/Yunli you can simply have Acheron loading her burst on the side and clearing waves whenever its ready, obviously not recommended for other modes
But still nice that we are getting new synergies
Я думаю что мы еще находимся в мете FUA минимум до версии 3.0. Я больше придерживаюсь того что на каждую версию они развивают два архетипа. В первом это команды с дамагером и DOT. Во второй версии это FUA и Break.
В 3.0 скорей всего наш ждут гибридные команды, очень много гибридов мы получаем в последнее время. Также все три топовые dd текущей меты не работают с энергией(или это им не нужно) поэтому в будущем, все кто плохо работают с энергией могут очень сильно пострадать.

the problem I've most with feixiao is she's just a acheron reskin which is lazy design. That and i find hypercarries stale to play because example with jingliu there's only 1 set of rotation you can do, skill bronya skill jl skill , you get the point. Feixiao rotations seem flexible but still end of the day it's press ult then gg. Oppositely DOT and RRAT have the most dynamic playstyle to me and most fun.

As for Aventurine, he should be coming back in 2.6 or maybe 2.7, until there maybe Lingsha will be the best, Gallagher should be good too since he's fast
March 7th and Moze if he gets buffed will be a good-ish replacement for Topaz. Just keep in mind that the loss of 50% follow-up dmg boost is gonna be felt.
Aventurine is a bit more replaceable, but he still has a lot of frequent FUAs. Idk maybe Gallagher with Multiplication can be the sustain replacement since he can get a lot of turns with his ult.

Acheron means nihility gang or should I say, the debuffer team. Not DoT. When Kafka release, it used to be the meta DoT. Everyone trying to build sampo and luka. Black swan coming and make kafka hype again. But with Acheron, I think many players used her more than Kafka.

Maybe something like Freezing like the remembrance path? Maybe a summon meta, since there are few characters with summons.
An abundance meta would be interesting too, healers are quite weak nowdays, there's very little HP scallers, Blade is the only DPS unit with HP scalling iirc

I'dwinturine obliterates Gepard, Hoho and Luocha > Bailu, Yunli > Clara, Jingliu > Yanqing and Firefly is so much better than Himeko overall, but in PF is probably better. The only 2 standard 5* that didn't get powercrept directly is Bronya although since Sparkle came out, Bronya fits less teams, but still fits and can't be replace directly for some teams and probably still has some potential to stay viable in the future. Also Welt probably didn't get direct powercreep, but I can't say much about him cuz I don't have him, only heard he can be used only as sustain since he is one of the worst Imaginary DPS at the moment.

Huh wdym feixiao wants robin, get robin out of the team because after her ult her AV is fixed, meaning robin's FUA wont proc for Feixiao's ult charge, tho she still gives good buff and dmg. BiS for feixiao is moze/march/topaz(min E1/S1 for buff/debuff), lingsha/gallagher/aven, SW>bronya/robin. Tho robin would be better in the case of 0 cycle, also use gallagher QPQ and Bronya DDD in that case.
This is just wrong bro. Moze in his current state is barely a unit, March7th is a good budget option but no where near the level of dmg boost that Robin gives, and Topaz is the only one you're actually right on.
On top of the buffs, Robin's 100% team-wide advance means more stacks for Feixiao's ult. Even if Robin's joint attacks don't add to the stack, the extra turn and fua from Topaz and Feixiao does. While Robin's joint attacks don't contribute to the overall ult count, it still gives extra dmg outside of Feixiao's ult, not to mention Robin's attack was never considered a FUA, so that's just straight up wrong. It's an additional attack like Tingyun has.
And no, SW is not better than Robin in any capacity. Even if Robin didn't have her strong buffs, her teamwide advance alone makes her more valuable. Same goes for Bronya who only advanced a single ally, and even Bronya with DDD, you're just better off using Robin.
It's one thing to suggest these as alternatives, but its insane levels of coping and/or misinfo to say that Robin is not Feixiao's BiS support.
