Fantastic, I cannot wait to get back to The Winds, and this hike is on my list. Thanks for keeping it simple, unpretentious and just so incredibly mellow and perfect. Winds and San Juans = my favorites of all Rockies, I've seen and hiked a lot of the Rockies in US and Canada (the Rockwall is sublime for sure) and I'll let the hype and crowds of Tetons, Northern Rockies from Bob Marshall to Mt. Robson stay the course, fantastic section for sure and more globally famous - minus "The Bob" a Wilderness Area for sure. But they cannot match the high backcountry of The Winds and San Juans because they're not tall enough 😜, well minus the Tetons. Love it all. Make more videos please.

Hi @grahamhallman243, I agree The Winds are fabulous for hiking... In fact I just got back from it a few days ago and I just posted today a new video of a South Wind River Loop I did. So it is there for you to watch/enjoy. Also, two more Winds video to come, but it is going to be a few weeks as I have a backlog from other hiking trips. Anyhow, enjoy the Winds when you get back out there!

One liter per minute and very reliable. Perfect for thirsty hikers. :)

Did almost the same trip late September last year. Missed the smoke and flowers. Did not see a soul except hunters a few miles from TH

The mountains of the central Wind River Range are beautiful. Will go back again as I want to see more of this area. Hope your fishing was good.
