I’d tape over the lens cover as well as it seems the pinhole can still let in a decent amount of light as the size of the pinhole accounts for a large portion of the FOV. So light may still burn into your unit with the cover on. I don’t know how much light you would need to be exposed to or for how long, but I can definitely say it can happen.
I don’t think this is a concern with the device powered off. I left mine on the hood of a humvee without a cap on for about 6 hours in the sun once, obviously not powered on and they still worked lol
excellent video Hello, I have some the same, but when I turn them on, it looks clear. at the time of 2 or 3 minutes it begins to pixelate what will be?...
Very good informative video question what's the field of view when you look inside of it does it like give you a wide range or I want to buy a night vision I just want to know what's it like looking through it like what's the view like
It’s 40 degrees of vision. So it’s not a very much at all. PVS 7s are old tech compared to modern night vision but they are the cheapest route and a good entry.
@@UnrelatedNonsense They're not even the cheapest. they make monoculars with the pvs 7 tubes in them. I don't understand why they're still even being sold.
Nice ! fucking ! Video ! simple, easy and to the point. what it is, how to use, how to maintain, some of the parts. some of these fuckers that made videos about PVS7 sound like they reading the fucking 120 page manual.
