- This video guides you through the basic operation of a chiller, making use of animations, illustrations, 3D models and real world photographs to help build your HVAC understanding.
This covers the basics of a air cooled chiller in a typical office building. By the end you should be able to identify the main components and the main circuits of a chiller. We look at refrigerant enthalpy, entropy, pressure, temperature and flow rate as well as the air and chilled water.

Hey love your videos! I got an internship in a MEP firm and your videos helped a lot. May I suggest some videos on energy recovery ventilation, economizers or VAV controls. Great videos keep it up!
Very well explained...Great breakdown.
Thank you for sharing knowledge, but i have a question "why the evaporator input and output refrigerant temperatures are the same when there is heat absorption?

I m start this course HVAC
Let me ask you one question
How we know the capacity of any FCU or AHU machine please
Love the video series. Can you do one on Fan Static pressure please? What it actually is, how it differs from Total pressure.
How can the temperature of pts 4 and pts 1 stay the same if the refrigerant is supposed to gain the heat of the returned chilled water(in) passing through the evaporator ?
because the internal energy increase, entropy ad enthalpy

For heat transfer for evep
Q = m'(h1-h4)
3.3(250-129) = 399.3kw
Why is difference from the answer
397kw
As I saw another formula to calculate the heat transfer evep
Q = m'×cp(Tin-Tout)
Answer = 397.212kw
Please explain for me the difference for this two formula
Thanks sir for this amazing video you posted us
Amazing videos. I wish I would find something similar on civil/structural engineering.
You are life saver !! Thanks for making it accessible to everyone for free .
Nice video....
I am new technician sir you are very nice video
package ac explain please?

hello sir
first
Well done !!!
please help me
I am helping by providing videos
2-3 seems to be incorrect. Ideally there is only phase change so the temperature should remain same !
