Sheepshead are notorious bait stealers. Is there a particular rod that helps your odds? I noticed you are using a 6’6”. My inshore rods are longer and are fast action.

They are definitely thieves! I use a medium rod for them, the extra flex helps to keep them from breaking off since you’re around structure.
